Just a topic about whatever Sakura was jealous when when Fuka kissed Naruto. Putting aside the fact that the episode was a filler it's unbeliveable what excuses some people will make to deny the fact she was jealous.

Hence the jealously scene of a filler. Many (SasuSaku, NaruHina and even NaruSasu, yes them because I read one of their comments) of them are trying to think or deny that didn't happen.

Fuuka is a filler antagonist character. She appeared in the filler arc between the Wind Element training and Hidan & Kakuzu arcs.

In the spirit of chp 347 It's strange the way Naruhina fans are acting.

This chp could be the end of Naruhina, yet 95% of them are Celbrating that Naruhina is now canon, someone even stated that even if Hinata is dead, the pairing is canon.

As much as Hinata apperntly loved Naruto I really doubt anyone but the NH shippers could ever see them as canon. Ppl can see NaruSaku as canon because of the 200+ chapters of development. It is quite obvious that they care for each other. On Naruto's end if extremely obvious that he LOVES Sakura With every fiber of his being. The man is smitten, and who could blame him.

I don't know what some fans want from Naruto to prove he likes/loves Sakura. It seems to some that some fans want to debunk the affections of towards Naruto towards Sakura because he never stated the words, "I love you". At some point in the past, NH fans had to grudgingly accept the lack of a confession because their pairing did not have a confession like SS fans had, albeit it being one-sided. But it seems with Chapter 437, it seems it's been taken to heart and confirmed that Hinata loves Naruto. That's fine and all.

However, it still stands to be noted in most romance shounens and shounens including romance that the main protagonist almost never utters the words "love" for most of the series and usually when he does, it's at the moment of reciprocation. Their actions should indicate their level of romantic interest and that is universally accepted. The fact that yes, Naruto likes/loves Sakura romantically is even being questioned baffles me.

I find somewhat amusing how Hinata's love confession to Naruto is awfully similar to Naruto's inner dialogue about his opinion of Sasuke when they were younger during their battle at VOTE. I'm not saying that they are exactly the same, but they're close enough to each other that it made me raise an eyebrow.

Naruto: "Sasuke, I always knew you were a loner. In the beginning I was glad because I thought you were like me. I wanted to talk to you straight away. But ..I couldn't speak. Everyone watched you and you could do everything & we were too different. I decided you would become my rival; I didn't want to lose. Even when we became Team 7, I thought this. I continued to lie to myself, but in reality, I wanted to be like you.... Maybe I was the only one who thought we were friends... Because of that, I ... will not give up... Sasuke."

Hinata: "I used to always cry and give up. I nearly went the wrong way... I was always chasing you... wanting to overtake you... I just wanted to walk with you... I just wanted to be with you.... You changed me, your smile saved me! So I'm not afraid to die protecting you! Because I -- love you!"

So, in short, Sasuke has had the same effect on Naruto that Naruto has had on Hinata. Does this make Naruto's inner confession about Sasuke romantic like Hinata's confession?

NH must really be having a rally! Has anyone visit NF because I'm really avoiding to go therefore since I will go off since they will make pathetic comments. Hopefully Kishi won't canon NH because it will be totally random and lose respect from some fans.

There is no way out of this without pissing of some segment off the fandom. No matter what he does somebody is going to end up mad.

Please be careful about bashing. I perused the forum when 437 came out, but haven't been back for this chapter.

When NaruSaku is made canon its not a huge stretch to see naruhinans also going on a similar run. heck if she does pass on permanently after passing on her will of fire ot sakura I can easilly see a mass of similar actions.

What will be intertesting to me is that Ill lay a reasonable amount of money that should Hinata die after confessing to sakura. that the Sakura hate in fandom will sky rocket exponentally.

That's probably true to a extent, but I'm certain that NaruHina fans are gonna throw an absolute FIT. I mean, the manga's been going on since 1999, and so there's waaaaay more people obsessed with NaruHina to an overly crazy level than there are Zutarians. Way more time to build up than Avatar.

But getting off that subject...

I'm sort of expecting Hinata to confess to Sakura as well, but maybe to a lesser extent than to Naruto. Whatever the case, NaruHina fans are still raging about how Sakura's doing absolutely nothing and she's totally worthless and Naruto could never love her. Even though he already has. :/ I sort of snapped at some of them before on how "blind" they were being about the recent chapters. As I put, they're acting like NOTHING had ever happened before Hinata's confession. The manga just went blank and didn't exist up until now.

Let's see. In this arc, Sakura has:

- Been present in the moment Naruto heard about Jiraiya's death.
- Collaborated in breaking the code Jiraiya sent.
- Said good-bye to Naruto before he left, encouraging him to work hard.
- Participated in the defense of the village, by annihilating one summoning with a single fist.
- Healed the injured and wounded in the hospital.
- Called Naruto during the Konoha's darkest hour.
- Assisted Tsunade when Gamakichi retrieved her (and cause it, she didn't see what happened).
- Taken charge when she felt Naruto going Kyuubi, ordering evacuate people and making decissions to retrieve Hinata and save Naruto.

Is that doing absolutely nothing and being worthless? She's saved lives. On the other hand, Hinata has done no one of those USEFUL things, has done absolutely nothing for 436 chapters, has commited an absolutely WORTHLESS deed (not only she hasn't saved Naruto but also she's endangered his and everyone's lives). What she did in chapter 437 Sakura has done it dozens of times, except she was powerful or lucky enough to survive. And Sakura is the only one can possibly save Hinata right now.

Truthfully and honestly, I'm sick of character bashing.

I adore your entire post, but I'm only gonna quote this much. XD I try not to character bash, but it gets REALLY hard when everything I "bash" them about is true... Hmm, kinda amusing, I'm not allowed to bash Hinata (on other sites), but oh, seeing as NaruHina fans are holier than thou, they're allowed to thrash Sakura to their heart's content.

*Sigh* I used to like Hinata, too. ): It's people like these that ruin her character for me. She had so much potential.

Ignoring any NaruHina debate, given nearly all of it seems to be people looking at the manga from the perspective of the anime, when was the last time before Hinata's suicide attempt that there'd been even a hint of romance? I guess it was Sakura's similar ill-advised lunge at 4-tailed Naruto back at the bridge? that was quite a while ago. I don't see it being totally beyond the bounds of possibility that there won't be any romantic conclusion *ever*.

Buuut, given the assumption Sakura needs some sort of wake-up call to realise what she's in danger of missing repeatedly, I think the final push is going to come from Tsunade's inevitable demise; either that or that point will kill it entirely. Jiraiya & Tsunade had a little chemistry, but they were close teammates who'd known each other for decades, and let's not forget her love interest was given repeatedly, that's not an awesome precedent

Anyway, she's the only female character who's had any real growth at all ( and panel time ), so that would seem to automatically tie her to the main protagonist eventually in some way or other. I don't think anyone with any investment in the pairing is going to be too disappointed at the very end, unless Kishi decides to wreck the series deliberately. What irritates me about the last Hinata chapters was how stupid he made her look in the first one, and how for no good reason he stopped Pain who's after all one of the arch-villains from actually having killed her in the second. Hinata may have some last words moment for Sakura, but really that's just stealing Tsunade's thunder & it'd have been a massively bigger impact if she'd actually died that fast. Still disappointed
