So Wolverine has always been one of my favorite characters especially in the movies, and his attraction to Jean was sweet, but I can't say they were really a ship I rooted for per say. Personally, the one relationship I love whether it's the comic, tv show, or movies is this: 

 

 

 

 

 

Logan x Mariko - The Wolverine 

 

 

Their relationship is honestly very genuine, and I love how it goes from  them being complete strangers in the very beginning to them caring about one another and protect each other at the very end.

Kazuya x Chizuru - Rent a Girlfriend 

 

 

 

I should preface by saying from a story-sense it's pretty standard, but the thing I kinda found myself latching onto was the characters themselves. Now, some people will say that the Main protagonist Kazuya doesn't really develop which is something I don't agree with. In fact his development while slow is subtle and gradual when one doesn't notice. Some have said the the same thing when it comes to the main female lead Chizuru although her development is much more noticeable than Kazuya. However, the biggest draw to me for their relationship is how they are both willing to go through for one another which at first starts out as an obligation, but as the series progresses their bond develops into something much more.  The anime's 1st season is great, but it's more of like an extended prologue because everything really kicks into gear due to what happens in the manga afterwards. In fact, I would even go out of my way to say it's the most NaruSaku I've felt compared to any other series I've read/watched post- series ending in 2014.

Like I said, I LOVE, Kanojo, Okarishimasu/ Rent-A-Girlfriend. I’ve even started collecting the tankobon! But yes the main drawn is how the two of them go from a relationship built on lies and convenience to building and actual dynamic of trust, caring and opening up to each other about their insecurities and showing their true selves to one another. The only real obstacle, as usual, is their obliviousness to each other’s feelings and especially Chizuru regarding her own. On another note Kazuya does display some of the qualities that I point out as not very healthy in a long term relationship, which is again he paints in his head that Chizuru is some perfect goddess that is flawless, but again that is counterbalanced by the fact that he sees how emotionally vunerable she really is. But I enjoy the heck out of this relationship.  I also follow it for having one of the sweetest,  fluffiest "cinnamon buns" you can ever find: Sumi Sakurasawa!!!!  (my favourite character in the story, bar none)

One of the weirdest couples that I've seen in a shonen yet, but they definitely have good chemistry and are freaking hilarious together.

Been reading this series since it first debuted in 2017, and kinda lost my place last year after chapter 100 due to life lol.  So I used up my time to reread it from the beginning to catch myself up to date, and while I liked them since their initial interaction; now they've become so much more upon this journey.  

 

 

 

 

Senku x Kohaku - Dr. Stone

 

 

Some may call this pairing pretty obvious given the writer and the artist (which I agree lol), but the thing I love about Senku and Kohaku's relationship is that it's one of those slow burn relationships, and you see growth between the two as the series goes on subtly and organically, and I do look forward to seeing how Inagki and Boichi plan to have these two end up together.

You give me hope with this. I was going to give up the series and not watch the second season. I was going to begin read the manga, but the new things I see I didn't like them and there was a spoiler between Senku and Kohaku that kind l lost hope for those two, but I see this image  I want to see the second season.

I can't say that now my OTP has changed, buuut I've started Jujutsu Kaisen and I like Yuji's dynamic with Kugisaki.

 

They're basically NaruSaku 2.0: both silly as hell, hot headed, bickering all the time.

 

Of course, they like the romantic aspect NS had and idk if Jujutsu Kaisen will EVER go on this road, but I like the two quite a lot.

NS, Clark and Lois, Sonic and Amy, Peter and MJ, all my OTPs. 2 out of 4 of those is already canon. Sonic and Amy in my opinion is borderline canon and will happen whenever they show Sonic in the future as older. I just need NS to happen now.

I'd say that my current ones, aside from NS, are Ichigo x Orihime, Sadao x Emilia (I just started watching The Devil is a Part Timer, I really like their dynamic), Yona x Hak and Natsu x Lucy!

yeah, how could I forget Lucy and Natsu. Even though I hardly read Fairy Tail, their development is pretty loud. I do want to see them end up together.

I've been following this manga for a while now and it's quite cute. Nagi X Erika from "Kakkou no Iinazuke". IT translate to "A couple of Cuccoos" or "The Cucco's Finance".

If I have to be honest Hiro Mashima has been one of the few mangakas I trust when it comes to handling romance between characters in a series, and that can be traced all the way back to his original series Rave Master with Haru x Ellie.  I know when it comes to Fairy Tail the pair he was going for was NaLu, but if I have to be honest here  I was actually never really that big on Natsu x Lucy..... (in come the comments - LUCKYCHI YOU DIDN'T! JUST SAY THAT!!!    )   Let me explain,  it's pretty apparent that NaLu was the main OTP for Fairy Tail & I had nothing against it. In fact I was quite curious to seeing how Hiro would develop that relationship, but it felt a little one-sided and not as genuine or subtle as  Haru x Ellie from Rave Master.  That being said, Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest is kind of taking the Natsu x Lucy relationship in that direction which is neat, but I'm waiting to see how it goes in this latest arc before I commit to shipping them lol. 

 

 

Anyway, I think we are all aware of Hiro's latest series Edens Zero which btw is amazing if you haven't checked it out yet, and like Rave Master & Fairy Tail  Hiro is working towards developing a relationship between his two leads. Though, unlike with how my stance has been on NaLu's development throughout the original run of Fairy Tail;   I'm actually finding myself really invested in this pairing similarly the way I felt about  Haru x Ellie,  and it makes me really curious to see where it all leads.
