I already answered it on the The last: Naruto The Movie thread. You can see if it's true there.

Ummm....why does everyone keep talking like Naruto is a silver medal? A silver medal implies that "I am not happy with what I have, but it is the best I can do." Does that sound like Sakura? I don't think it does. I have been reading tons of pages and yet, all I ever see if people calling Naruto this silver medal.
Just because Sasuke doesn't end up with Sakura doesn't mean Naruto is the silver medal. Let me ask, how many here had a first love? How many here are actually in a relationship with that first love and are still together to this day? How many are happily married to their first love right now? Chances are, not many if any at all. If Sakura moves on to Naruto, it doesn't make him the silver medal. It makes him the better choice. That actually makes him the gold medal. She refused bronze and went for gold.

Because her killing him had more to do their personal relationship between them and not team 7...@Pepsi:
Why not just have memories of Team 7 than or just standing next to Sasuke or something? We know they didn't have a particularly meaningful relationship, but if the aim was just friendship for Sakura's feelings than Kishi should've wrote something like that. He didn't have to show a panel of her fangirling. That's why I think Sakura's feelings for Sasuke were more romantic there than friendship-centered or even Team 7-centered.

@Pepsi:
That still doesn't answer my question. The fangirl flashback was not needed. It just proved she was still holding on to that memory and she would have no reason for that if it was just a friendship connection with her. Like I said, she could've thought of other things. Like Sasuke complimenting her genjutsu ability or saving her or just being with him while they go on a mission. That would imply it was just a friendship connection for her or for Team 7. It's not what Kishi wrote in it, but what he didn't write that I think you're wrong.
But like I said in my last post, we think very different things on Sakura's feelings. It's better to just agree to disagree.

The argument is that the only reason SS didn't happen was that Sasuke left/fell off the wagon as opposed to Sakura choosing Naruto over Sasuke while they stand on equal footing.
And that argument could easily be applied to NaruHina as well making NH nothing more than "because Naruto couldn't have Sakura and never saw Hinata on equal footing."

I have to disagree as well. Sakura's feelings are very vague at this point, and there hasn't been a definitive 'I don't care for Sasuke' anymore moment. Kakashi's words could be read in more than one way, which is frustrating. Then there's also the Iwa shinobi scene, where when told 'The guy you like must be a great person', the person she thinks about is Sasuke, not Naruto. If she was over Sasuke at this point, why would she think of him? It doesn't help matters that she was still upset that Sasuke didn't care that she was injured fighting Madara. Kishi really needs to make a concrete stance on Sakura's feelings.

The way Kishi has portrayed Sakura's feelings, its a bit difficult to guess whether she has realized she loves Naruto, whether she is aware of her feelings for Naruto, whether she is over Sasuke, whether she still likes Sasuke or whether she loves Naruto but hasn't realised yet! We have evidences suggesting all of the above! Even during the Land of Iron arc......she could not kill Sasuke due to her lingering feelings but her memories suggested something else entirely! For all I know, Kakashi's words were clear. Then we have a scene at the start of part 2 which suggests she fell out of her love for Sasuke. Literally, it is very difficult to guess what is her current situation regarding her love! 'I don't care about Sasuke' won't come since it is OOC for her. I do want that but let's face it, it is not happening. She can stop loving Sasuke but cannot stop caring for him because that's the type of girl she is! Regarding her love, literally anything regarding her current status is possible and we have evidences supporting each of them. Its complicated, reallyI have to disagree as well. Sakura's feelings are very vague at this point, and there hasn't been a definitive 'I don't care for Sasuke' anymore moment. Kakashi's words could be read in more than one way, which is frustrating.
