Sorry but this doesn't make sense to me. how the hell do Naruto and Sakura fall into the genjustu that Tobi activates then? how can the movie begin if its before the lovernin episode then? when Naruto hasn't seen Sakura yet? I mean if the movie came out before that episode wouldn't that mean Sakura chooses Sasuke over Naruto?

is anybody not really pissed off and mad about this?

For what? Why not enjoy the movie and see how things play out first.

No, I really don't think Sakura will choose Sasuke over Naruto. I mean... Sasuke doesn't love her. She's realized this, I mean, even if the movie was planned before the lovernin chapter, then Kishi already knows himself about what he's doing with his characters.

Apparently, there's going to be a filler episode in the anime to promote the movie, just like they did for the 3rd & 4th Shippuden movie. And.... it's going to be centered on Sakura, it seems.

It's tentatively called "Road to Sakura" as of the moment. Looks we were all right. The movie is definitely going to have lots of development on Sakura that's been seriously lacking in the manga. And so as not to put Naruto out of the picture, there's going to be NS developments for sure.

As for the filler episode itself, considering how it's being used to promote the movie. I'm willing to bet good money on Kishi being involved in that episode specifically, too.

I think for all those that has been begging for more Sakura development (even if it's outside manga continuity) from Kishi can now officially say HALLELUJAH!!!

It doesn't take place in any arc. This movie is not in the same continuity as the manga, none of the movies are. Even if this one is made by Kishimoto it doesn't mean it takes place in the same storyline. The only thing this movie will prove is author intent since it was made by the original Naruto author himself. Taking the alternate characters aside, the way Naruto and Sakura, and probably Minato and Kushina act is going to be 100% accurate as the way Kishi intends them to be.

This is the only movie in which we don't have the right to say that either Naruto or Sakura act out of character since this was Kishimoto's full concept.

Yeah you're right. I do expect NS moments since the voice actors at the ''Naruto: Memory of Chakra Park'' were teasing the NS fans their about it.

I'm also very much looking forward to Naruto and Sakura interacting With Minato and Kushina. I know Kushina is gonna LOVE Sakura since they have so much in common XD

I think 'road to Sakura' will definitely be about her thinking of Team 7 in some form. It makes the most sense in regard to the movie plot.

Please remember that Minato will also be a main character in this movie, so he'll take precedence over AU Sasuke and Kakashi. You're wording it as if Minato will be on the same level as the rookies. For all we know Sasuke and Kakshi won't have such long scenes as you're speculating. We know too little of the plot to be completely sure of how it will play out.

What we know as of now is that Naruto, Sakura and Minato will take most of the screen time. I'm sure this new Team 7 will get a good amount of interaction during the movie but I don't think it will take the majority of its time as you say. Team 7 being revived will be like a side plot.

I was thinking that too. Just, who will reach her?

I vote Naruto.
