If the kages go to the battlefield, Oro will have to follow. Hashirama is the only one in control of himself-- the rest, including Minato, are under Orochimaru's command.

Kishimoto already said that Naruto and Sasuke would meet during the war. Sasuke also wants to stop Madara.

Either way...the idea of the Kage's joining the battle is displeasing to me, even if it is going to happen. I feel like even though it'll be cool to see Naruto meet all of them, including Minato, it'll take away from the struggle of the Alliance face Obito/Madara.

He said it a few times. I know for exact once during his fight with Itachi and sometime recently, although I cant remember the chapter number.

SAKURA is the heroine. This has been her role since the very beginning of the series and it's going to stay that way until the end. She's a member of Team Seven, one of five of Naruto's most important people, and has been with Naruto since the start of the series. This fact doesn't change, no matter how much development we see from Hinata.

Let's see how the flashback and Sasuke conclusion comes down to first. After all, they are far from the battlefield so it's possible they will get there after the battle ended. It wouldn't be the first time. I hope the battle ends and them Sasuke meets Madara elsewhere. It will be nice for kages to know that Konoha have become stronger than ever and Minato can praise Naruto heavily for what he has done. Kage helping will take away the excitement of a huge struggle.

I remember his relationship, but it has been said many times that Iruka and Team 7 are the most precious bonds to him. I mean he should have included him way back in Part 1 Gaara vs. Naruto, but he didn't.

@NaruSaku4Life3g oh definitley Iruka and Team 7 are his most important bonds, but it was the 5 people who had been with Naruto since the beginning right? Technically Konohamaru predates Team 7 that's why I went with him.

Since I'm now curious, a lot of fan work brings mention to the Ramens (I don't remember their names so they'll just be the Ramens) being one of Naruto's early bonds but where does that come from? Naruto's introduction to Team 7 makes it sound like he only went there when Iruka treated him so I couldn't imagine they'd be that close to him.

Regardless of rtn being canon or not, sakura is still one of those who understands narutos problems best, she did not experience the same problems but understands the sources of his pain, the nine tails (from the bridge event) the aka skits ( records she read during the time skip she said) both of these from naruto himself (and this drove her to concern), also how sai said both Sasuke and herself were factors in his pain. All these times she was always trying to do something to either aid or protect him. These are examples of great friendship, sakura cannot understand naruto's issues by experiences but she knows of the toll they had on him and always wants to help in some way.

One thing I hope for Sakura's development, she finally gets to fulfill helping naruto in some great way she wanted too, beyond just caring and having faith in him. This has been one of Sakura's struggles in her own development, she wants to do something great in return for naruto. I just hope Kishi makes her big future moment this.

Also there is something sai himself may have forgotten of not realized yet. While Sasuke and sakura cause naruto pain, they are also his biggest sources of strength. If the confession events are brought up again (as a means to finally clear up any latent confusion over this event) I can see sakura telling naruto everything sai told her but the notion of sources of strength being brought up. Does not need to happen in this way but the notion of sources for strength can be a big impact on both naruto and/or sakura.

I don't think those 5 people are there because they're closest, it's because they were the ones that saved him, his first friends. You see it sometimes that Naruto imagines people popping up, I think there are 4 or 5 people first. Suddenly, it's the entire village XD

btw, I love Konohamaru and Naruto's relationship. It's just sweet how Konohamaru just chased after him instead of avoiding him, and wouldn't stop. I wish there would be more fanfics and arts about their relationship : D

I think there's no individual place for them i would say that Sasuke,Sakura and Kakashi,Sai are on the same spot.

1-> Team 7.
2-> Jiraiya/Iruka/Tsunade.
3-> The rest.

Hm... I feel as though Jiraiya would be higher on the list, higher than Kakashi at least, but then again, I don't know.

It seems like Jiraiya was Naruto's actual family. We had a whole little arc of Naruto dealing with his death. But when he was fighting Pein and he felt that Kakashi was gone, he hardly gave a real reaction. That could be that matured though. (But, that maturity was crushed so that Hinata could look good recently)

I gotta disagree here. Iruka isn't that low. :c I don't think lists like this are fair to begin with, but if anything, Kakashi should be there.

Sasuke and Sakura are equal in importance IMO. She's a love/love interest, and he's a brother. Two different bonds in his life that are difficult to compare. They each fill Naruto with each type of love. Although...Sasuke never was a really good brother to begin with.. I know they have the past in common, but that's at least not what I am looking for in a relationship. That's just my bias opinion however, Naruto will apparently go to the end of earth to save him, it just means that I can't understand what Naruto sees in Sasuke.

And also, Sakura's relationship with Naruto wasn't tested in the same way it was with Sasuke.
