So The New Naruto Gaiden is being titled The Seventh Hokage and The Scarlet, and so it comes out on April 27th which again one month is not too long of a wait for a weekly series unless you're reading a monthly series of course. Now the thing I'm asking myself about the title is The Seventh Hokage and The Scarlet. I can understand The Seventh Hokage part reffering to Naruto, but what does The Scarlet refer to?

 

 

 

He's done it with Mario. The mini manga series will be short just like a one-shot manga. So I see no problem with a romantic BS development in such a short time frame.

As for the sibling theory, what makes BS being possible sibling is how close Sakura's house is next to Naruto's working place as if they rekindled their relationship and not to mention how much recognition Bolt is getting by Sakura. The thing with chapter 700 and TL is that TL, Hamawari looks older than her chapter 700 self and is like she's one year younger than Bolt. In chapter 700, She looks the very least 2-3 years younger than Bolt. And the only way Kishi can fit Bolt in to be Sakura's son is that Bolt was born a year before Sarada. And of course Sasuke casts a Genjutsu on the entire village and make it out as if Hinata was pregnant with Bolt all this time and make beleive that Hinata gave birth to Bolt while Sakura actuall discreetly gives up her only son, so that way she can protect Naruto and Hinata's marriage. The issue I see with this is that Naruto may never know Bolt being Sakura's son except Sasuke.

 

That is true, and Mario is probably one thing from Kishi that I can still go back to enjoy despite that it was a one-shot. I wouldn't mind a romantic BS development in that short amount of time either to be honest. Oh well there's only one more month to wait and then I'll see just how much comes out of this minj-series/Gaiden. 

 

The sibling theory does sound interesting, I'm not going to lie, but I'm not entirely sure if that's the direction t's going to go.

And that's exactly what I'm saying, her unique skillset was something Sasuke cared about, and went out to recruit her, and him trying to kill Karin was at Sasukes lowest point, he cared for nothing more than revenge, for a girl to be on Sasuke's radar she had to be useful to him, it's just the kind of person he was at the time, he only acknowledged power, It was the only way in the manga with his charactor design there was ever going to be a possability of him having a love interest. It's sad but when you've written a charactor who has to be shown to fall into disperity the only type of female that would make sense standing next to him would be someone who isn't pure as snow. Karin fit the bill.

 

You could tell that Karin was introduced in the series to fit in well with Sasuke, same way Sakura was created to fit in well with Naruto, Ino with Chouji and Temari with Shikamaru...they were all classic design tropes used, the dumb blond with the smart girl, the kinda vain girl with the overweight bloke, the acknowledged genius with the lazy genius.

 

Kishi will deny this now, but I am pretty sure that he had these pairing in mind when he (or his original editor as it now appears) created these charactors.

Even though those pairings were based on tropes or archetypes, there was still legitimate development behind them that would allow the individuals to be best suited to the one person they thought they didn't like. They were pairings based solely on the evolution of the character.

 

With the canon ending, the pairings are based on shallowness (Ino with Sai), reward (Sasuke with Sakura, and Hinata with Naruto), or nothing at all: Choji and whatshername, and all the rest that I can't remember. Only Shikamaru got with Temari, but to make that acceptable in Kishimoto's eyes, he had to take away her power and make her the weepy and emotional one, thereby undoing all of Shikamaru's development toward understanding a tough woman has love underneath.

 

He trashed his whole story for a payout. And it doesn't matter when he decided to do it. He simply didn't care enough about the series, the characters or the fans to change the course of the story and develop it in a way that supported the ending. He just went right on then slapped on a different ending. 

 

It's a big middle finger to all his fans, not just NS. But they're too blinded (most of them) by the ending to see it.

You probably did. To be honest I skimmed through the last few pages so I probably missed it.

 

 

Yes, I agree, it's too obvious not to be a link to Sakura — 'scarlet' and 'spring' are just too similar. Out of aaaaaallllll the other titles they could have chosen, they settle on one that automatically brings up imagery of Sakura to connect with Naruto. The title would even be appropriate for an NS fanfic. 

 

And the shipping flames were, in the end, the biggest driver of the series. So it makes sense they'd fall back on that gimmick.

 

However, before I get blasted with contradictions, I'm sure this is a trick. Like releasing the Part 3 images of Naruto and Sakura together. The focus will be on an opponent with red hair, the return of the Uzumaki clan, another flashback from Kushina...or even something else entirely. Red tide. A blood disorder. A wildfire.

Yeah, I know whatcha mean, Tricks. I feel the same way, and it sure is a HUGE insult on Kishimoto-sensei's part, and that is the reason WHY I was tempted to not work on my Naruto fanfic, but because of you, I will keep on when I get the chance. I just need to think about it for sure. It just is a shame when a writer won't let himself do what he wants and just submits to fan pressure as well as his editors. =/ That's also just the fact that you aren't doing what is best for your story as well as insulting the fans.

To me it's funny how they try to win back the old fans after brushing them aside. I mean, really? The kittening nerve!

 

LE: Crimson flower moon? Man, kitten them for using Sakura's symbolism just like that after giving it all to Hinata anyway.

 

Oh, that's what pissed me off about the ending anyway. That was the biggest FU to Sakura fans in history of manga/anime/whatever when it comes to the relationship between the two parts. FU, Pierrot!

You know I looked back at the news and thought more into it, so the Part 3 Mini-Series will officially release on April 27.  However if you guys recall a similar news came out regarding the ending of Naruto and it's end date was November 10th when in actuality we got the final chapters a few days a head of time due to the scanlations. So I just put two and two together and I'm sure it'll come out on Thursday April 23rd through the scanlation sites.

The only way this series doesn't reach bare minimum is if it completely disregards Naruto's generation and establishes itself as something completely new. If it follows Naruto footsteps, it's not gonna generate much buzz from anyone but NaruHina fans and desperate SasuSaku fans

Me too. I'm just irritated that he didn't put more effort into Bolt and Sarada's designs. There wouldn't be any speculation about the parents before the movie came out if he did. Karin, Temari, Ino and Sakura never hesitated to scold their most logical love interests kinda like a mom and a normal wife would.

 

As for Narusaku, irl its absolutely logical that a guy would fall for a girl that acts and looks like their own mom if they have good memories of them. Men would do this because of the positive feelings they had from them and would try to  recreate that feeling of security and comfort. Yet Hinatards still call this incest when they are not related genetically...

 

Neji and Hinata literally represented the yin and yang when their fight started. They were literally designed to be together from the start. They have opposite personalities: the kind, and naive girl with the cold, and down to earth guy. Neji falling for her made perfect if he wanted to be free of the cursed seal by mixing his blood with the heiress and putting an end to this tradition.

I don't expect them to be best friends or anything. Just that they should know each other given the fact that their parents were old teammates. Assuming that Naruto and Sakura still kept in touch despite marrying different people

Well, nothing speaks of other, they may know each other, one class they go to, at least. As it shown in the last chapter - and 699.5, there is no glimps of them even speaking for those 10 years.
