It's was meant to be intentional. Why do you think the SJ editors published it we they knew it was deliberately? It's part of a ploy to not to spoil the main four pairings before the movie airs in Japan. 

I just have a really hard time believing the IT theory

If the spoilers are to be believed, Hinata rejects Naruto's confession and goes with Toneri. Maybe she says 'Sayonara' during this scene?

Agree. The funny thing is- Even in her worst state, fangirl Sakura is still better than normal Hinata. Even part 1 fangirl Sakura cared a lot about Naruto and her team but Hinata never cares about anyone other than Naruto.

Try look at the NS interaction. Sakura seems into deep thought just like Naruto and both are staring each other in the eye, ignoring everything around them

You know what's interesting . something you have already pointed out and I always wondered WHY!  when that chapter came out  . I'm speaking about 662  and the title of it " The Real End "  Why call it like that ?  We know that the tittle of the chapter is always connected to something that's referenced in it or occurred   so why call it like that with Sakura and Karin crying over Naruto ? We know it isn't about Naruto Sasuke being dead that was obvious  so why give it this tittle for that chapter  ? It made no sens  and now everything is twisted and kittened up and with each info from Kishimoto he makes little to no sens with what he previously wrote .
