The best way this can end is obviously NaruSaku happens in the most blatant way possible with zero room for misinterpretation.

Doubt Kishi would go that way. He will give the world the answer.

Naruto only wants to eat his fish. Never try to come between a man and his fish. That's the rule.

I really do love how Sakura gets all jelly and is teased about it in this OVA. As much as Studio Pierrot are Hinata fans they are conscious that the real love story is supposed to be centered around Naruto and Sakura, this scene in the OVA clearly shows were they stand.

I hear that.

Though there's something that bothers me, though I'm probably sure it's nothing, but here it goes...

Why does Sakura continue to call Sasuke with the "-kun" suffix? It may just me reading too much fanfiction, but I thought -kun for girls to refer to males they are either attracted too or very close.

Why no suffix for Naruto-san?

No, kun is used for younger boys or at the same age, it is used to show respect. It's hard to explain, it's a side of japanese culture, it's in their culture, she won't stop calling him -kun.

And you can be sure that it has nothing to do with her feelings, in fact, it's adding distance between him and her. While she's calling Naruto without suffix. Not using suffix means a lack of respect or it means that you have a very close relationship, like members of a same familiy or or lovers. To me at first she called him because she didn't respected him as much as others, but now it's because she's that close to him.

Kun is more or less the same as san, which means mister or miss. It has nothing to do with feelings, it's just that generally, girls have respect for the guy they like so of course they will call him -kun.

So that would sort of imply that -chan used for Naruto DOES imply feelings, but -kun doesn't?

every suffix has a diffrent meaning.

-kun is like san but it's implying a closer relationship than san (I think)

-chan is used for baby, little girl, younger girl or someone you like

-san is the more neutral among all the suffix

If I remember correctly, Sai said in a chapter that kun and san were adding a distance between two people while not using them was adding a proximity between them.

Here is link that can help you to understand more:

http://en.wikipedia....nese_honorifics

I read it, and it confirms that kun can be used by girls for the guys they like.

But at this point I think that it's more, the second one, she uses it because she knows him for a long time and she's using this suffix for him since she knows him.

i even remember in fruits basket almost everybody calls tohru -kun even though she's a lovable girl. then i googled it and some people said they may not want to sound condescending to her calling her -chan.. in workplace people avoid using -chan so as not to sound condescending too.. they mostly use -kun for guys or girls. these net findings may be false though.

I'm sure it doesn't mean anything. I mean Hinata calls Sasuke "Sasuke kun".

Just as a correction, on the contrary, -kun is more distant than san, san only shows respect without putting distance, Haiyore Nyaruko san, she started calling Mahiro with Mahiro-kun later when they get more close she started calling him with the -san suffix.

I personally think the worst thing about the pairing fans in this case is, they are making demands as to how it should turn out despite the majority of fans reading all this time being most likely those who dont even support the manga, they are the kinds who just read the scanulations. Thats essentially the pairing fanbase overall in naruto, most of them demand their pairing in most cases even though they most likely dont support the franchise itself by not buying anything related to it. Even then its still all dependent on kishi, if people cannot respect his choice, they shouldnt get angry. If he set out to do NS then thats that, no use for them to try and argue about it.

But she was very happy on those flashbacks, we only saw her smilling the same when they went back and fought as a team 7 once again, i also suggest revisiting her confession, she never stated that Sasuke made her happy but that the team 7 made her happy, her love for Sasuke is tied to the team 7 on which makes her happy.
The other thing that makes her happy is her seeing Naruto happy which she didnt realized it yet which could potentialy lead to being with Naruto makes her happy.
If Kishi destroy team 7 and make sure it wont go back as they were in the past, the pillars of SS are completely destroyed because it wont provide her happiness.

bolded, just because Sakura is not being childish or fangirl like Ino and Karin doesnt mean that she loves Sasuke less or something like that, she's completely aware that Sasuke is still evil, before the fake smile she dropped a tear of joy on seeing Naruto and Sasuke fighting alongside each other and the fake smile said that she was aware that Sasuke is not a good guy.

In True Love, you are not selfish not to that one person you love but not to anybody else. With Sasuke she thought of him and him only, and all she thought about was her being with him and possibly him being her boyfriend. And in the process she hurt Naruto. Now the difference is (in which I believe she is falling for Naruto) she doesn't only think of Naruto but she thinks of others as well. In those Flashbacks, it showed her infatuation once again, because she thought about her and Sasuke in the academy days. Never once was it about Team 7 because if that was the case, she would have also thought of Naruto and Kakashi at least far in the background. Naruto seems to make her even more happy, I agree with that. And it seems that she more wants Team 7 back and Sasuke back for Naruto's sake than for her own. Like you said she wants to see Naruto happy.  and for what you bolded that has nothing to do with what I said. I said if its true love, the feelings WILL NEVER DECREASE. They will always hang in there. Her feelings is decreasing and thats part of infatuation, it always wears away, slowly but surely and some people even  mistake infatuation for love.  Which is possibly what Sakura-Chan did.  She couldn't have fallen for him, because imo Sasuke has no lovable qualities and his personality is unlovable and honestly, no girl would love that unless they like being abused.  In those flashbacks she didn't think about when they started working together but when they was back in the academy and she used to pine over him.

He was already a rogue ninja when he left the village the difference is that later he joined akatsuki and treatened to destroy the village, she acknowledges what she feels for Sasuke as love even with him being rogue ninja but the fact he is a rogue ninja, treatened to kill her and also wants to destroy the village and kill the people she cares about makes her sad, she knows that her feelings for Sasuke is not something she should be proud of.
She matured, and currently which is shown on the fake smile and 632 she put her head above for heart for once

she wants him to change. She could acknowledge it but sometimes, like I said some mistake infatuation for love. If you love somebody and truly love them, you would accept them for what they are no matter what you wouldn't want them to change. But she wants Sasuke to change. If Sakura-Chan would have done to Naruto what Sasuke did to her, Naruto would be in love with her possibly even more stronger.  I'm not saying what she is doing would be right but thats how true love is. Like I said True love never dies, and Sakura-Chan feelings are fading for Sasuke and thats not true love that she has. What Naruto has for Sakura-Chan is true love, no matter how much times he been hurt by her or by her indirectly, his feelings for her still grew.

So, I just lost a lot of respect for Viz Media. On Facebook, they posted a photo of Volume 64 advertising the volume (the volume with the cover of Naruto and Hinata "holding hands"), and you can imagine what some of the comments are.

Someone commented "so Hinata and Naruto do end up together?" and Viz Media is actually liking comments in response saying:

"let's hope, if not we riot."

"what's really funny is the kanji for 'girlfriend' can mean female friend or girlfriend. naruto's answer wasnt even str8 forward when minato asked the question. back in the day naruto wouldn't have hesitated to call sakura his girlfriend. looks like naruto is FINALLY starting to see the light. Thank God. lol"

"From what you said sounds like she is a girl she is my friend so she is my girl friend."

Yeah.. Viz Media actually liked all three of those. The outright bias and unprofessionalism is unbelievable. Even if it's just some person paid to admin the page that doesn't know what they're doing, I'm kind of iffy towards their "official" translations now. After seeing this, I'm interested in seeing how they translate that scene.

Wow, I should say I'm surprised, but for some reason I'm not. What ever happened to neutrality and professionalism? And I just have to laugh every time I see people trying to write off the girlfriend comment as "girl friend". If that makes them feel better I guess, but we all know that would not be the case if Minato had been asking about Hinata. Do they really think Minato was actually asking Naruto if Sakura was a girl who is his friend, or his friend who is a girl? :wot:  Neither of those make sense to me, especially considering Naruto's response and Sakura's subsequent reaction.

Yep, plus (if I'm not mistaken) the phrase "please take care of my son/daughter" is something Japanese parents say when meeting their children's partners.
