A month to update is pretty good by my standards. Honestly, what's the hurry? If you want the author to be able to write a well-written, thought out and complex story it's going to take time. Also, keep in mind that fanfiction authors do have outside lives, jobs, etc. I know personally my time to actually write has shrunk down to practically nothing since I had my daughter.

I'm sure that the authors of any story that people are anxiously waiting for are taking their time making sure that they put out a quality product. Afterall, haste makes waste.

I was not hurrying anybody, I just said it takes a long time to be updated and was wondering if Dragon6 was still working on Mizukage.

is it just me or is ff.net rather stagnant lately O_o

I haven't seen new submissions for ANYTHING in a day and a half at least..
