Dude... obviously Naruto wasn't able to witness the genjutsu Sakura saw in her mind.
I hope he saw it. It hurts...

I also don't disagree that this might be a set-up for her future development. But I can't bring myself to care anymore. I'm not going to read this manga because my favorite character is finally going to gain her development at chapter 748 in a 750 chaptered story. Every character have their ups and downs, they make mistakes and learn from it, become better, and that is character development. Sakura makes mistakes, learns from it a hundred chapters later, develops a hundred chapter later, make the SAME mistake again, goes back in the background and disappear for a while. This is NOT steady character development. This is Sakura going back and forth. Kishi tends to put on repeat the mistakes Sakura made, probably because he lacks the ability to develop his characters in a realistic way so he decides to recycle them. It only ends up showing that Sakura never learns.
THIS! thank you.
Kishi needs to knock this off and have Sakura move forward. What? is Kishi afraid to let go of the romance plot?

I did laugh when Kakashi said "Love doens't need a reason, hate does!!"
HAHAAHAUHHAUAHUAHUAHUAHUAHUAHAH WTF
Especially considering, that it's literally the EXACT opposite that's true.
Stupid as kitten.

Thanks for your post.
You might be right and I don't disagree with you. I also did think that Sasuke using a genjutsu instead of downright stabbing her might be an indication that he's remembering the bonds he had with team seven. And this might be a set-up for that. But frankly, I'm tired of how Kishi uses Sakura in order to get his message across. He purposely damages Sakura in order to make Naruto and Sasuke look stronger, to emphasize their bonds, to make them look cool. He's using Sakura as a plot device to make way for the other characters to shine. This is an author abusing his most harmless character because he has no ability to get his point across in other convincing ways.

I don't think Sakura nevers learns I think Sakura is just like Naruto and that she would never abandon her friend or a teammate when she had a strong bond with him/her. I think Sakura is just weak when it comes to feelings, like Naruto. I think her and Naruto are deeply hurted by Sasuke. Naruto is not crying right now, but I think he's suffering a lot too.
I think that is what Kishimoto wants to depict.
But it's getting hard to watch. Do you remember guys when Neji scolded Hinata back then at the chuunin exam ? Naruto said to Hinata to react because it was hard to watch. Right now, I wonder if Kishimoto forgot that aspect. Its becoming hard to watch/read. I think he wants to make characters more beautiful/touching through despair, but I expected something else from Sakura when I saw her frowned at Sasuke. The page after she was begging. I can understand why she's doing that, but also, I'm disappointed because it would have been preferable for her to get angry, yell at Sasuke because he wanted to kill Naruto and Tsunade and the other kages, because he was crazy... I think Kishi is setting her up for later, and maybe what I want to happen will happen later, but I would rather it happened already.
So I understand you in a way. I'm also trying to understand Kishimoto, but I'm starting to reach my limit here. I hope the raw will confirm manpanda is more right than mangastream because if mangastream version is the right one, then it's crap. Really. "Sakura only wanted to be yours" really ? No I just can't take that.

We all know this is the how the story will end:
I mean after all of this:
After all of that they finally deserve a happy ending.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

"This child had almost been killed by you sometimes... Even now, she is sheding tears by caring of you... It's because she is suffering from her love for you!"
lol... that makes even more worse from SS's pov... She is suffering... It's like loving him it's really a big pain for her.
I guess is pretty much confirmed that Sakura confession to Naruto is a lie. She loves sasuke all alone, there is no way she going to change her feeling at the last minute. My heart broken apart when Sakura said this to Sasuke: "I've always know in my heart, there was nothing I could have done for you, but I love you. No matter what's happened, I still care about you more than I can bear...If I could have taken all your pain onto myself to comfort you, I would have....."

After reading all the posts in here I'm just glad that this sh*tty story is finally coming to an end for ALL our sakes . One way or another we will get some sort of resolution before Naruto the Last comes out in December. I still feel that something will happen within the next 6-8 chapters to help Sakura see that Naruto is the guy who she truly loves (whether it be through the genjutsu that Sasuke cast, or maybe Hagaromo will help her see the truth).
Even though it seems like Kishi has trapped himself when it comes to the pairing situation it really is an easy fix if you think about it.
All Kishi has to do is make Sakura realize (on her own or with help as mentioned above) that her feelings for Sasuke were misplaced all this time and were really intended for Naruto. At this point, it's the only satisfactory and feasible way for NaruSaku to become canon.

No dude her feelings for Sasuke are one thing. Her feelings for Naruto are one another thing.
She was lying about not feeling anything for Sasuke anymore, and that, we already know. But all she said about Naruto, it was the utter truth.
