And this is exactly why the statement of "She's willing to kill him bc she loves him but she can't bc she loves him" contradict itself which is ridiculous in the first place , the thing is if Sasuke was the love of her life or loved him more then Naruto then she wouldn't have agreed to kill him in the first place but try to help him like Naruto going by this it only shows you how much she doesn't love Sasuke and how much she really loves Naruto and people mainly SS fail to see this her love for Sasuke has been sent here in the stone age Lol .

 

I think it's more proof of Sakura being more realistic about Sasuke than Naruto. She wasn't able to go through with it, of course, and Naruto again went into a "Sasuke can be saved" speech. Since that's a theme in Naruto, forgiveness. I'm not going to take anything as definite yet, since Kishi keeps leaving so much stuff vague/trolling. I'll be happy in the end if this all is proven to be true, however!

Well I'm not forcing you to believe it its your own choice but still it doesn't change the fact that that statement is contradictory by itself and you supposed to help the person you love trying to understand him  not kill him Sakura didn't do that or thought about his feelings  that's not love  no matter how you look at it  but it's funny how she does all of that for Naruto.  But if you want to be 100 % sure then yeah you can wait for the confession to be referenced as for me her actions speaks louder then words .

 

Also yes Sakura was being realistic but what she did was not love for Sasuke I keep saying this allot one scene doesn't always have one meaning or represent only one thing .

Ummm....why does everyone keep talking like Naruto is a silver medal? A silver medal implies that "I am not happy with what I have, but it is the best I can do." Does that sound like Sakura? I don't think it does. I have been reading tons of pages and yet, all I ever see if people calling Naruto this silver medal.

Just because Sasuke doesn't end up with Sakura doesn't mean Naruto is the silver medal. Let me ask, how many here had a first love? How many here are actually in a relationship with that first love and are still together to this day? How many are happily married to their first love right now? Chances are, not many if any at all. If Sakura moves on to Naruto, it doesn't make him the silver medal. It makes him the better choice. That actually makes him the gold medal. She refused bronze and went for gold.

There is nothing wrong with this and yet people make it seem like it is so bad. As people we strive for happiness and if we are not happy then we go for what does. If Sasuke doesn't make Sakura happy then he is not even worthy of being any medal at all. He is last place she wants to be in because he makes her miserable.

Also, if it is so bad, then why is it not bad if Hinata is a silver medal then? I see NH fan say that Naruto is Sakura silver medal and that it is bad, but find that Hinata being Naruto's silver medal is apparently the best thing ever. Did I miss something?

Perfectly said there is a reason why Sakura always gives Naruto that special tender smile of hers that is reserved only for him that's happiness and love right there . But  just one more thing to say , Technically Sasuke isn't her first love but first crush  since if he was her first love that means that they have been in a relationship  but they aren't  so going by this Naruto will be Sakura's first love right ?

She choose Naruto in the Kage summit arc. We saw just how strong her love for Naruto is. She would rather lose Naruto as a friend and take all the hate upon herself just so Naruto wouldn't be alone anymore. That he'll still have his friends. Not to mention she was willing to kill the "love" of her life just to keep Naruto safe.
 
Now I'm sorry but if that doesn't show us, that Sakura's love for Naruto is stronger than her love for Sasuke. Well nothing will.

No the reason she was going to kill Sasuke was to both keep him from sinking lower and to keep him from spreading his hatred throughout the world.

Not sure what you mean by taking in all the hate so he won't be alone anymore, I get that she was ready for Naruto to hate her but what exactly about killing Sasuke would make Naruto less lonely?

Actually, on the topic of the Land of Iron, the reason Sakura couldn't kill Sasuke was out of lingering romantic feelings. You can tell by her flashbacks. She had one of just blushing at Sasuke and being a fangirl while Sasuke didn't care (don't ask me why this somehow stuck out for her), another one of T7, and then another of his thank you after her confession. The friendship one was Team 7, while the rest was more romance-centered.

 

There's a chance the "thank you" just was her remembering how Sasuke used to be instead of her feelings for him, but then what was the point of the fangirl flashback? That's why it feels like it was her romantic feelings for Sasuke getting in the way. I don't think it had much to do with Sasuke being her former friend or teammate or anything like that.

 

Because of that, it does sort of undermine her willingness to sacrifice Sasuke so Naruto's safe or anything like that. But I think the point is Sakura would rather have Sasuke die to protect Naruto, even if she lacked the emotional capacity to do it herself (and for understandable reasons). It still feels more like Naruto was her top priority instead of Sasuke. 

 

Maybe she couldn't do it, but it's the thought that counts.

Yes, it's hearbreaking.
after all Shu goes thought the story he deserved that cliché ending but Inori(the girl he loves dies) sacrificing herself to save him.
Then end is it's shown him without his arm(because Gai ripped it off), blind and passing the rest of his life listening Inori's songs and thinking about her.

Not really, literally the only memories she has of Sasuke are her fangirling over him those are literally all the memories she has of him which downplays her supposed love even more and makes it seem even less believable but it is there.

The whole point of LOI was that Sasuke's decision was causing a huge burden on Team 7 that Kakashi, Sakura and Naruto all attempted to shoulder on their own.

I've never watched the show but my god that's the most terrible ending I've ever heard of  , btw for how long was this show broadcasted ?

Why not just have memories of Team 7 than or just standing next to Sasuke or something? We know they didn't have a particularly meaningful relationship, but if the aim was just friendship for Sakura's feelings than Kishi should've wrote something like that. He didn't have to show a panel of her fangirling. That's why I think Sakura's feelings for Sasuke were more romantic there than friendship-centered or even Team 7-centered.

 

But I know you and I have very different opinions on Sakura's feelings, Pepsi.
