I've been thinking .... while it's pretty safe to say NaruHina's probably dead, there is one sliver of hope for the NH pairing IMO. I don't find this likely in the least, but let's all be open-minded NaruSaku fans by considering slightly.
 
We recieved another confirmation of Naruto's feelings. That's not a question. But we still are left in the air about his feelings for Hinata so far, so the NaruHina fans are still hoping for their ship. Undoubtably, NH will get a resolution. Whether good or bad remains to be seen.
 
Could Kishi aim for a real NaruSakuSasuHina square flying around? I don't see the point of this so late in the story, but let's think about it for a minute.

Pentagon, if you include Lee. Heptagon if you include Ino and Karin.

One of the reasons why chapter 630 was so controversial among certain fandoms is that it pretty much shows Naruto doesn't return Hinata's feelings, and not only does he not give her an answer, he openly talks about his feelings for another girl right in front of her.

btw, I just heard that SS will have a special month dedicated to their OTP, is it true? If yes, Wtf? A month? LOOL

Ah, I think a month is too long. A special fan-organised online celebration isn't very exciting after a week. Which is why narusaku week was just fine.

If true, do you think they are doing it because we happened to get a week one and a NS moment happened to get one? Somehow, I think that's the real case. I hope they know that Kishi doesn't follow the world like that and he won't do a favor because we held a special day or two. It's just a warning. I mean we didn't get anything special from NaruSaku event, so yeah, I think they are trying to stand. They could get one or two, but not all four chapters. Don't say I didn't warn them.

I explained this in chapter thread. If NS moment happened in the end of the arc, much like Pain Arc, stop kicking the dead horse and move on. Besides, do we really need two heartbreaking scene from romance side? Sakura is the only one to do this.

I honestly think NS week and 631 was just a coincidence. SS is most likely only doing this in an effort to have the same thing occur but it will be funny as hell if no SS moments occur in the manga while this is going on.

They forgot that this week is on deviantart so nothing to do with Kishi and before Japan had a NS week and still no NS came, it was just a coincidence since 630 came out and obviously would have an NS interaction on 631.

So last week after 631, i went to fornever worlds video and i was esssentailly an ass proclaiming NS as the winner, just for fun. I was and am still fully aware that i was being a kitten lol.

 

But as i wanted i got some repies some agree and some disagree, none more some dude who sent me this.

 

That would be pretty kittened up if after all that hinata has done they don't get together. Naruto is still a teenager in this. Ofcourse he still has his irrational crush on Sakura just as she has on Sasuke. Oh and who came infront of one of the....(* This is where the email cuts off and since youtube blows at finding comments i'll summurize the rest) Pains during the Pain Naruto fight...helped him beat pain...the confession...risking her life to save sasuke....sakura being selfish... and then he mentioned the holding hand scene....all just repetive bs.

 

So I replied with this and I think you guys will enjoy this. And Plz correct me as well.

 

I have to disagree with you because when Hinata jumped in the Pain fight, she herself said it was selfish, I mean she actually said that. And actually Minato actually helped defeat Pain. If u referring to the six tails its arguable that made things worse, but reguarldess it wasn't enough, he actually had to go 8 tails.

 

Now U said Sakura was being selfish in the confession, but again she actually says and Kishi shows that Sakura did that so Naruto would not go after Sasuke and end up getting hurt. She did that to protect him the only way she knew how. Remember Sai yelled at her for making Naruto make the promise, so she wanted him to stop keeping that promise. This is simislar to the bridge arc, where she chased Naruto after he went 4 tails telling him that he doesnt have to chase Sasuke anymore. Also Sakura wanted to put an end to the Sasuke retrival because yes she probably has some feelings for Sasuke, but as well was wanting to end all this and protect Naruto

 

Now For Hinata holding hands with Naruto....holding hands cant possibly out weight all the NS moments, not to mention ppl say Hinata snapped Naruto out of being sad, well to some degree he was still down but then Kurma had to talk to him to get him fully back. Again just stating what actually happened.

Even though I didnt doubt narusaku when 615 happened, its just how everyone panicked and the chapter was going that made me feel kinda doubtful, so yeah I do feel foolish

Because we never deny what happend between them but they try to deny everyone of our moments? Would they take it out on kishi or take it out on our fanbase? Well, some will rage.. at the Narusaku fandom, at Naruto, at Sakura and at Kishi. Some will accept it (very few) admiring their defeat. And some will deny it even then saying it won't last long or it's not real love ect. And fanfics will arise on what a terrible relationship NS has and that Naruto breaks up with Sakura only to end up with Hinata who was his true love after all...

I'm into Avatar, so I know they have Zutara week and people are posting Zutara fanarts once in a while. But they don't write long essays, I sometimes see comments like "ugh, I was always rooting for Zutara..", but not worse than that. I've heard stories though, of insane Avatar shippingfans XD

 

I think that as long as we see Hinata being happy and successful, Sakura actually doing something relevant,  loving Naruto with all her heart and her being completely over Sasuke, more people will accept the ending.

Nope ;P I didn't watch it in America while it was on-going. I watched it on the internet, and didn't involve myself in the fandom until I was done with the series. I only started watching it after the movie came out.

Avatar? Easy, the only confirmed pairing was Aang and Katara. At the end of the series there was Zuko and Mai and also Sokka and Suki, however in the comic series following the war, Zuko and Mai had an issue, that remains ambiguous. Same with Sokka and Suki, not much was shown between them following the war. The Zuka-Katara fanbase was said to have been sunk several times over especially when the Korra came out due to Aang and Katara having 3 kids. The creators themselves hated that ship.

 

Ranma, that remained ambiguous, that was an ending best left to the individual fan to choose.

 

Teen titans had another big fan war, the only confirmed one was Robin and Starfire, I was young at the time so I didn't even have a clue that things like this existed. There were many fans who wanted other stuff like Beast Boy and Raven, Beast boy and Terra, or Cyborg and Bumble Bee. Yet the only one which was absolutely crushed was the BB-Terra one. Only Robin and Starfire exists. The rest are just friendship.

 

No telling what will happen with Naruto especially with haters already freaking out over NS taking the Kushina parallel.

You get "The Bitter End," where the female part of the canon pair is portrayed in a fanfic as a rage-filled murderous lunatic who batters her husband to death because of a complete misunderstanding, and an entire legion of fans who act as if this is\should be canon because it "proves" their OTP is the right one.

I wish people would respect it, but most of them won't. People will resort to their fanfics for a false sense of comfort.

 

Bolded: I think this is what separates the boys from the men, so to speak. It's like NH and SS do everything they can to burn any hint of a relationship between Naruto and Sakura. There's a difference between denying evidence of a ship, and simply not favoring a ship/being completely against it. The latter is okay. The latter is suppose to happen. I'm just glad we accept everything that happens in the manga even if it isn't in our favor.

To be honest, as long as I see naruto happy In the end, whether it's by sakura maturing and loving him or if he sakura still goes back to sasuke... As long as the ending is happy for naruto, that's what I mostly care about and to me this is why I am a part of this fandom because I think naruto would be most happy to be with sakura in the end of it all

Sushi count yourself lucky to live in Norway, here in America, things can get pretty bad. I didn't ship anything in Avatar, only had favorite characters in Zuko, Toph, and Sokka.

 

Anyways, in a comic con event after the finale in the summer of 08, I went to one of the panels and there were some people crying and looking angry over the fact that theirs lost. Kinda like in Naruto, I only started shipping NS back in 09 when it seemed like something was not fully right when 469's events were not fully revealed and then came Kushina and I was thinking, "she is just like Sakura" and then came the "find someone like your mother" so then I just went from there and look where Naruto is now.

 

Anyways yeah many many many fans were Zuko-Katara or Zutara I guess, it was just a nightmare to think of this stuff and I even asked someone why it matters and they said to me "Do you ship "this" or "that" I said no, I just like specific characters, and they acted like I didn't or should have been part of these pairing wars and well they went balistic. It was literally an ugly sight. There was actually well a literal nerd fight at one of these I went too, lucky I was far away from this event and just watched and could not believe people did this.

 

If the Zutara fans were upset over Avatar, imagine what the anti-NS crowd will do if NS becomes canon.

I heard the creators had a segment in Comic Con on how it would have been if Zutara was a thing. They featured some "sexy" fan art off of someone on DA only to end it by Katara and Zuko breaking up and Katara ending up with Aang in the end. One of my friends who was a Zutara supporter said it was a low blow. It also featured some Tokka goodness ^^

 

I actually supported Bbrae from Teen Titans! Idk why I just loved their relationship, the way Beast boy always tried to make Raven smile and messes with her and how on rare occasions she's nice to Beast boy. It's still my OTP in the Teen Titans universe lol They actually did get together in the comics though (not the teen titans go! comics but the legit ones)
