So what if they're boring? They aren't weak. That's for sure. You have to be very controlled and precise with medical jutsu, something that took Sakura years to accomplish and Tsunade mentioned how quickly she learned how to do everything.

Sakura doesn't need flashy jutsu or uber chakra wasting attacks to win a battle. She does just fine with her fist, a bit of chakra augmentation, and hitting the ground or her target. Compared to real life, her punches/fighting taijutsu are probably as strong as a large bomb. Are bombs weak to you?

Sakura gave Kakashi a run for his money. Kakashi is strong dontcha think? They were going to make him the next Hokage if Tsunade passed away. Yeah, they were desperate, but obviously Kakashi is worth something.

But all in all, strength is not measured by flashy jutsu's and whatnot. Isn't that another lesson in Naruto? Orochimaru thought strength was in knowing every jutsu in the world, but all he got was death. Sasuke thought he needed to know more jutsu and have more physical power to be strong and kill his brother. We can all see how that went.

Eh... I don't know. Being weak is not one of her flaws. Her flaws are possibly still holding onto feelings from Sasuke. Maybe in part 1 being weak was a problem, but that's the point of part 2, she's changed. Another flaw she didn't realize she had till recently is depending on Naruto a bit too much, she resolved that too, or tried to.

Medical ninjas are boring! And everyone already knows tsunade is the weakest of the kage. Medical ninjas are important but they never fight. the only thing that keeps Tsunade on par with the rest of the kage is her regeneration jutsu which Sakura doesn't have. Sakura has no useful jutsu other than healing. Her only offence is strength. If she had genjutsu she would be much more interesting in a fight. if Sakura learned the regeneration jutsu then MAYBE she could actually be useful in combat.

to sum it all up, Sakura isn't strong, she is a healer. and I didn't say I hated her, I'm just trying to keep you all from ignoring these obvious flaws.

You seem to not understand that being a medical ninja is very vital in a group of ninja, take the kage at the moment they need Tsunade alive for healing AND her strength, she has gone one on one with Madara for crying out loud. Yes she was stabbed run through with a spike of some sort but she freaking survived that. I believe using chakra to enhance your strength is a great way of fighting, it shows the amount of chakra you can control. Also there are no weak kage, Madara clearly stated that the current kage's proved there title fighting him also the reason he's going all out.

By the way, Branden - saying that healers are "boring" doesn't make a good debate in the NS debate thread. It's invalid. Sakura has her intelligense, she can heal herself and make poison, antidotes, sleepbombs etc.

She's not weak, she's one of the strongest in the konoha 11 as shown in the databooks. The one who is really weak is Hinata.

When Pain attacked Konoha she was the one that took matters into her own hands and started ordering everyone what to do when Naruto transformed (even the ANBU available there were TAKING orders from her, that's right ANBU obeying the orders of a chunin when they are supposed to take orders from the Hokage only). She may not be in the same league as Naruto and Sasuke but she's still in that league where she can hold her own. Also please don't drag Hinata into this debate Branden didn't mentioned her. The least we need is another Sakura/Hinata comparison debate that will eventually lead to bashing and the thread to get close.

sorry about that, i'm just getting sick of all this sakura bashing and tsundere bashing if you know what i mean. the western fandom really needs to get to know japanese culture more and learn about tsunderes and actually look up and follow the databooks.

If you love a pairing you love it, you do acknowledge the flaws of the character without being blind about the character you like is good , but focusing all your posts in bashing one of the two characters people in a forum love, is nothing but a troll. Trolls should always be ignore and they will go away.

I know, i'm really getting sick of it. And I wasn't trying to bash Hinata, I was just saying facts from what I know from databook 3 which I own. I was the one that posted the video about the page with Hinata being made fun of in the databook. I am really getting sick of trolls, especially with that rant I saw last night on Youtube of that chapter reviewer bashing Sakura.

I just wanted to add, you really can't compare normal ninja to Narutoo, Sasuke, or Madagascar for example. They're all overpowered in some ways *especially Madagascar and Sasuke* they can't be put on the nnormal scale in "strength". They are out of the norm and took extremes that normal people can't accomplish. In terms of human normal in naruto, Saturated is strong. Is can be on the level of Kage as she is destined to surpass Tsunade someday.

No, she's not uber Mega duper unrealistically powerful, but she strong.

You'd have to ask Smiter, but technically speaking we have more authority. I know I can see people who mark themselves as invisible and I don't think Mods can.

Those debates get threads close because people have trouble sticking to the rules when they come up. If people can handle the topic it will stay open.

In short, spend more time debating arguments and less time insulting other fandoms. I don't care if they engage in it. The mod team decided a long time ago that we didn't want to engage in that same behavior. If they do come here, report them and we'll deal with it.

On youtube videos: every time they get linked into this thread people stop debating specific points and start insulting the posted and the fandoms. The old debate thread was derailed with these videos and Ani warned the entire thread about it. I also shutdown a thread where that was being done. If you cannot control yourself, then post it at youtube. Stop brining it here, if you're not going to talk about the actual contents of the arguments made.

So...you're saying doctors are boring? Medical personal are there for a reason, and are good to have by your side for several reasons like...oh, I dunno', maybe if you took an arrow to the leg, you have a broken bone, you caught a disease, you're really really sick and vomit every ten seconds, or if you have batlle fatigue. Medical ninja are important, and Sakura is one of the best (other than Tsunade and maybe Shizune she is the best) And Sakura can fight a hell of a lot better than over half of Kishimoto's characters, just like Lordofice72 said in that video. Now if HINATA did something that would be intersting. But nope, she'll always be that usless character that just druels over Naruto. The only thing that keeps her alive is Periot, filler, and boobs. That's it.

This isn't a fandom thread, it's a debate thread. I say something that you disagree with. Aparently that makes me a troll. How about you stop being ignorant and confront the issue instead of labeling it troll and moving on. That is the worst posible way to deal with a problem. Now, I don't want to say that Sakura is weak, which she is not, because if she is supposedly "weak", then what's the point of her character's purpose? I thought her purpose, in the story, was to see to that she would not look weak in front of Naruto and/or Sasuke, that she would not drag them down, which she does not, and I'm sure Naruto could back that up, at the right time.

Just so your not mistaken, my opinion is that Sakura is weak, and medical ninjutsu is boring.

I only ever brought up this entire arguement because that one person ignored Sakura's problems. I will defend Sakura's importance to the series, but I WILL NOT stand idly by as people talk about her like shes flawless. If you ignore the other side of arguments it makes your own weaker.
