Perhaps in this short movie Kishi can finally show how Sakura found out of Naruto being the Kyuubi jinchurikki. In the rescue Gaara arc she told Naruto she found out looking at the medical records but I would love to see that and her reaction upon finding out. Also a conversation with Tsunade regarding whether its true or not of Naruto carrying the fox and if she will hate him or not (this will be a big development for her character even if it's a flashback). Also her training with Tsunade which others have already brought it up and maybe she constantly thinking about Naruto and reading the letters he sent her about his training with Jiraiya (I think he told her that he sent her letters I should probably re-read the manga to clear that out). This will show that no matter how far they are, they are still close friends giving a big boost to NS.

Another thing I would love to see in the movie (although I think Kishi will show it in a flashback in the manga). A conversation between Sakura and Tsunade regarding her confession to Naruto and her plan to join Sasuke in order to kill him, this right here is a big turning point for her character development. But like I said Kishi might leave that to the manga.

I don't want to doubt you but I really don't remember any mention of those things at all.

I re-read those chapters and you're right. Sakura didn't found out like that probably Tsunade told her or maybe Shikamaru has told her in a conversation, the same goes with him writing letters to her (sorry it's been a while since I have read those chapters ). But this is more the reason why Kishi should bring them in Sakura's short movie.

Although, it may not be entirely incorrect as she could've gone through Naruto's medical records and cross-checked his birth date.

That makes me wonder, "Road to Ninja" and "Road to Sakura" will probably air before the lover-nin episode, so would it be weird if the previous two implied NS only to be followed by the episode of Sakura thinking about Sasuke?

On the other hand having the "Road to" stories imply NS could mean that the people here who talked about Sakura thinking of Sasuke as something negative would've been right then.

Exactly. Is it a genjutsu- yeah, we know that from the official promotional information, have for a couple of months now. But no, there's been no advance showing of the movie. They don't do advance showings two months ahead of the official release. They might be tinkering with post production stuff right now... That You Tube video just shows a promo clear file that looks just like the image that has been on the official website for months now. It has an insert that hides Madara with a blue sky on one side and has a copy of Kishimoto's original sketch idea of the poster on the back. The video just confirms that indeed Kishimoto did that poster.

Well I do think there's a chance Road to Sakura and Road to Ninja will come out by the time we return to Naruto's fight, as long as the Kages vs Madara fight isn't too dragged out (God forbid there be flashbacks ).

On the other hand i think the lover-nin episode won't come out until after movie is released. From now until the lover-nin there's around 20 chapters to cover so I don't think I'd be possible. But who knows? I could be wrong.

Road to ninja is a story completely separate from the manga. Kishimoto wrote it but it's not gonna tie-in with the manga.

Right now in the anime we are in the Edo-Zabuza fight, right? In the manga from that fight until the lover-nin chapter there around 20 chapters in between, that's what I'm explaining.

it'll be before the lover nin issue i think there's going to be another filler arc before naruto enters in the war.
because if they reach the lover nin issue there will be 30-40 mangas left to catch up and the anime need to have at least 60 mangas of distance (wich give 30 episodes)

Sorry but this doesn't make sense to me. how the hell do Naruto and Sakura fall into the genjustu that Tobi activates then? how can the movie begin if its before the lovernin episode then? when Naruto hasn't seen Sakura yet? I mean if the movie came out before that episode wouldn't that mean Sakura chooses Sasuke over Naruto?

is anybody not really pissed off and mad about this?
