I'd much prefer Naruto be with Ayame at this point. I sense a lot more chemistry between those two, and it'd be easier to explain their off-panel development because I'm sure he spent a lot of time at the ramen shop. That pairing has way more to it than NH does .

The movie could be called "Secret's of a Ramen Shop Girl." Or "How I Tamed a Fox".

According to Miyazaki the quality of anime is suffering because industry staff is made up of “otaku,” or people who obsessively love anime.

Little we knew we were going to live this with the Naruto ending and specifically Naruto The Last.

You may be asking, what has to do Miyazaki’s statement against otaku ruling anime industry with Naruto’s ending?

Simply: Is a reflection of what happened.

As I said in a previous post of mine, Naruto the Last is basically Studio Pierrot’s self fulfilling fantasies with Hinata. They destroyed the conclusion of a story, and destroyed the personalities of the three main characters because their favoritism towards a secondary character. A secondary character who also happens to be part of the “moe” archetype as well is voiced by a very famous seiyuu/J-POP idol. 

It’s not a problem if the mangaka or the studio has a favorite character, the problem is when they ruin a story because their favoritism towards that character. And Studio Pierrot/Shonen Jump editors apparently didn’t thought that a better way to conclude Hinata’s character would be her overcoming her crush towards Naruto, becoming strong and a wise young leader for her clan. Instead, the best way for them to make her shine is reducing her as a damsel in distress who also has to lose her memory so Naruto can fall in love with her. Because apparently she without Naruto is nothing. Because it seems that the only way to exploit her character is giving her her “trophy” while overshadowing the protagonists.

Based on what I have said above, it seems that they don’t really care about Hinata as a character, but instead see her as a “kawaii” archetype that sells and that’s why they have to make a rushed, bad ending that in turn goes against the three protagonist’s character journeys to match their projected fantasies with Hinata, or at least how they see Hinata. To satisfy the desires of those fanboys that obsess over Hinata for what she represents (ie-moe) instead of what she is (her character).

Their obsession with Hinata destroyed Naruto.

That’s an otaku.

Sadly, Miyazaki-sensei is right. We got the proof in front our noses.

Money and otaku killed Naruto.

So if the only thing this movie has going for it is Hinata...why would I want to see that? Shes a kittening background character who repeats the same line. I honestly dont get why Hinata is like one of the most adored anime characters when she doesnt even have a personality

With all the data we gathered so far from interviews and reports on this thread.

 

With the two major interviews (Kishi) and contract under oat (the early screening), its obvious that NH and SS are not canon in chapter 700. The sexist comment that was followed by a smile or a laugh ( I forgot) is very controversial because no one besides the interviewers knew how Kishi felt when he said that line. And the other interview, which I think it was live. The interviewers asked him who's his favorite character. He never hesitated to say Naruto, but when came the favorite female character, according to reports, he either hesitated or was very unconformable when he said Hinata which also followed before an awkward laugh. 

 

At this point, why hesitate to say Hinata's name and feel uncomfortable? That my friends is where he slipped up, and confirmed that SS and NH are not canon in chapter 700. To add more credibility, SP's Anime Director on Tweeter made a statement that they was not aware of the events and next generation in chapter 700, which many of us are calling BS. However, for the first time, I think SP are telling the truth. Just looked how Kishi appeared on stage. He looks like a fricken half hardhearted smiling ghost and a bum. Is this the impression to show not just the fans but the company that is giving him his paycheck?

 

His appearance is absurd, but not for bad intentions. Look beneath the underneath. Don't you think its possible that Kishi is not on good terms with SP behind close doors that not even the world knows about? The 4th Data Books stated that he had to change parts of the manuscript, written by SP. Won't you guys pissed of if that was your manuscript? And there was another report, I think Chatte brought back pages ago that the last two or just chapter 700 was planned only 3 months ago from Nov 10. So yeah, him screwing with his work was intentional not only because he was dissatisfied, but not to spoiler the main three pairings in the upcoming movie and his new mini manga.

 

I'm going to draw the line, NS, SK and LH are canon until the movie and new mini manga proves otherwise.

So Naruto has a fangirl club , Naruto is ok with it and using women left and right  making him the biggest jerk ever , Sakura doesn't give a kitten and it probably congratulating him , Scarfs's flying  everywhere  , Hinata being a dormant  no progression whatsoever over the 2 year time skip  she's looking even more pathetic  by knitting an army of Scarfs  .   And the cherry on the cake  the freaking sexist pig  Trollmoto says his wife gave him a scarf  so Hinata is like that    . 

 

Someone please shoot me in the head or wake me up when this FF is over   I just can't take this assassination anymore , all NS moments are irrelevant like nothing ever happened   Naruto is not the Hero anymore , Sakura is robbed  from the role of Heroine  , everything is asspulled and given to Hinata Hime    DAFUQ!!!!! .

Naruto is dense about some things surely, but he was never characterized as such a complete idiot that Hinata tells him she loves him and he thinks she means she loves him the way he loves ramen (wat).

One of the things to be admired about Naruto, as far back as Part 1, is his maturity in dealing with some things. His maturity in dealing with his feelings for Sakura is one of them. Naruto is a sweet kid. He genuinely cares about Sakura. He is not some jealous dude looking to take Sakura away from Sasuke (lel like Sasuke cares). He certainly does not objectify her as a prize to be won. 

 

If Naruto was meant to have this selfish, jealous, possessive feelings for Sakura based only in arbitrarily singling out one of Sasuke's fangirls in an attempt to "win" against him, then he could have done a better job of showing it. Even Sasuke hadn't singled out Sakura before Team 7 was formed and still didn't single her out even among Team 7 lol. Why Sakura of all girls for this only reason? Why not emphasis how shallow Naruto's feelings were instead of showing him having this pained acceptance of her feelings for Sasuke. Even Sakura, when thinking back on the PoaL, believed Naruto was in love with her. All this just because he randomly chose her out of a crowd to win against Sasuke, despite accepting she loves Sasuke, and wanting to bring him back for her despite how much it hurts? What?

Love or hate NS, but this is bull. 

And keeping Naruto from responding to Hinata's confession for 5 years, and apparently didn't even have Hinata's feelings reach him until 5 years later? All because he equated her love for him with his love for ramen? The guy who has done self-sacrificing of his own for the girl he liked, couldn't recognize what Hinata was about when she confessed he was her inspiration, savior, and love just before sacrificing herself for him? Instead he equated it to a love of ramen? What?

And now we're apparently going to lessen the importance of Naruto's bonds in order to make Hinata more special? And imply that he's never had anyone, any bond, anything he wanted to protect before realizing his feelings for her? What?

I don't even like NH and I'm stunned this garbage is apparently necessary for it to happen. I actually think it could have happened in a less ridiculous way, sue me.

I heard he said that his wife knitted a scarf for him too... Dude, I swear, all this is... phahaha! Remember what that marketing guy the other day said? HE'S DOING EXACTLY THAT! He knows how NS has proof and now to turn around gives NH all these, his wife = Kushina = Sakura, he applies it in this movie with Hinata, bahahahaahah!
