i just watched Konoha Gakuen Den (ova based on naruto shippuden ed 2) and saw this. Is this funny to you guys?

why sakura cut her hair in that ed

hinata asks why sakura cut her hair, on behalf of the viewers.

ino then shows these picture to explain

i didnt find it funny   maybe im too defensive of her.

 

and i always thought this is fanart, but lol studio pierrot, shouldnt expect any more of them and their bias.

So yesterday I re-watched the NARUTO x Uniqlo OVA, and I'm pretty sure that Kishi might pull something similar.
Chances we'll get Sakura holding Naruto's body like she did in the OVA are very low, since Alliance has been evacuated to safer place; and we don't need a remake of famous Pain Arc scenario. But the fact that she's aware of what's gonna happen to a jinchūriki once their tailed beast is extracted might work as a good trigger to reveal her hidden heart. I'm only sure about one thing, though: next chapter(s) will only reinforce and add to NS development.

Don't forget, Bijuus are gone, so now Madara is about to unleash hell, so the alliance will get drag into this.

The last chapter had a lot of hidden NS in it with the hidden heart, I swear! So many undertones.

In all honesty when I saw the title of the chapter as the hidden heart on Christmas, I thought could this be referring to something with Sakura's hidden feelings towards naruto? What I mean is, well given her character she has had hidden type feelings, not in the sense of love but caring more than she actually shows, I thought for a moment before reading the chapter that day that was it possible she was going to have a friegthed reaction of Madara trying to extract kurama (back then) well I was suprised that day to see it was a mainly gaara chapter but it did have that shocker and has caused a setup we hope gets something ns related, it's both appropriate and a perfect setup for this.

As for the coming event, there is one thing I'm really wondering, with the allaince done in all aspects, what is it that gaara can do from what kurama told him that will lead to saving the allaince? Something has to happen aside from yin kurama being the only real power source remaining to help the allaince.

The first bubble about the hidden heart can describe Sakura's situation, but the next makes me think about the peace and tolerance Naruto is about to achieve. But I wouldn't say it's a build-up unless she does something that fits this description. And I don't think she will.

Don't forget, Bijuus are gone, so now Madara is about to unleash hell, so the alliance will get drag into this.

They'll have to get back to the battlefield eventually, but I doubt that will happen in the next few chapters. Right now Kishi will probably focus on Garra and that thing Kurama asked him to do. We might also see Sasuke. Although I may be wrong.

They'll have to get back to the battlefield eventually, but I doubt that will happen in the next few chapters. Right now Kishi will probably focus on Garra and that thing Kurama asked him to do. We might also see Sasuke. Although I may be wrong.

I know. Come to think of it, the way I see it, even though people won't like this, though I did explain in the other on how confident this arc is ending, if there's something that will keep in, I'm all in for one more volume. Anyway, it is possible that Kishi could plan on getting all the top tier ninja (Kages alive and undead) out of action to have the Alliance struggle heavily. Hashirama is already out technically speaking, and Minato is dealing with Obito. If Madara becomes a Jinchuuriki, well Edo are screwed since they can die by it. If this is the case that will lead to something "awesome" which I won't say, then fine by me.

Yep. I'm also really disappointed about the quality of animation these days. Instead of making more fillers they could work harder on canon episodes.

It's what I call deficiency in planning. I don't know much about anime studios, but they give this impression nowadays. Anime studios were much better before.

Well yeah, you can argue that. I didn't think much about it because well it is filler. It's made for tsundere comedy, whether it's right or wrong to do so. At times, you just make up an excuse to execute it but this usually happens only outside of the story, alas filler.

She cares about him don't get me wrong . But I wouldn't call it true love if it was true love her feelings wouldn't decrease. She is more infatuated than genuinely loving him . To me that showed when she had the flashbacks right before Sasuke was going to kill her .

But she was very happy on those flashbacks, we only saw her smilling the same when they went back and fought as a team 7 once again, i also suggest revisiting her confession, she never stated that Sasuke made her happy but that the team 7 made her happy, her love for Sasuke is tied to the team 7 on which makes her happy.
The other thing that makes her happy is her seeing Naruto happy which she didnt realized it yet which could potentialy lead to being with Naruto makes her happy.
If Kishi destroy team 7 and make sure it wont go back as they were in the past, the pillars of SS are completely destroyed because it wont provide her happiness.
 
bolded, just because Sakura is not being childish or fangirl like Ino and Karin doesnt mean that she loves Sasuke less or something like that, she's completely aware that Sasuke is still evil, before the fake smile she dropped a tear of joy on seeing Naruto and Sasuke fighting alongside each other and the fake smile said that she was aware that Sasuke is not a good guy.
 

And besides if she truly loves him she would accept him for a rogue nin imo .

He was already a rogue ninja when he left the village the difference is that later he joined akatsuki and treatened to destroy the village, she acknowledges what she feels for Sasuke as love even with him being rogue ninja but the fact he is a rogue ninja, treatened to kill her and also wants to destroy the village and kill the people she cares about makes her sad, she knows that her feelings for Sasuke is not something she should be proud of.
She matured, and currently which is shown on the fake smile and 632 she put her head above for heart for once

She states it on her confession too, if you're contesting her happiness that's another story i'm going to go what is canon.

Her love is not pathetic or unrealistic, i think Sakura hasnt found her own happiness, just looking at 632 gives this answer, she was very happy when she was fighting like team 7 again and even cried on 633-634 if i recall.

Look at Naruto as an example, He's very happy with Sakura however his friends, the village and his dreams made him very happy too, Sakura falls into the same category on where Obito failed.

 

I firmly believe she will keep loving Sasuke as long she finds another source of happiness.

How does that disregard the intensity of her love.

I'm not talking about true love or whatever, that's totally subjective, i only said that her love is not weak as people often suggests, it's something complex and tied to the only thing that Sakura acknowledge that makes her happy (team 7).

He's saved her life and there was a time team 7 was happy together, but name one time he made her at least smile(except that one time he was the one that hurt her in the first place).

 

I don't think it's fair to represent the strength of her love by her happiness. Unless Sasuke alone is a main source, important enough to showcase her feelings like you did.
