The idea of Naruto's feelings being shallow is absurd. We never got a real reason? Okay. Here's the thing. We don't need one. It'd be a nice bonus for NS, but we really don't no matter what the fandom says. We did get the chapter where Naruto explained he knew why he liked her. It as because she wanted acknowledgement just like him. That was NaruSaku's beginning and it was understandably not enough for explanation for most fans, even for me. But what makes people believe that's the only reason for his feelings NOW?
If that was the case, then he'd be in love with Hinata.
I always thought Naruto's love for Sakura arose the same way Sakura's feelings for him did: Development, time, and maturity. He spent so much time with her as a teammate and got to know her extremely well. He was able to see her compassion, selflessness, and determination to succeed to echoes his own. I know Sakura haters would fail to grasp this side of her because they hate her so much, but that is what Naruto fell in love with.
It's not even close to a shallow reason, if it was he'd be over her by now and he wouldn't show such blind devotion to her. They don't have to agree with his choice over the objection of his affections, but I wish they respected it instead of downplaying it.
Downplaying it sort of insults Naruto for me. After all the pain and self-sacrificing he has gone through with her, you would really brush that off as crush?
If that's what NaruHina/SasuSaku fans think about Naruto's love for Sakura, then I'd really like to see their reason how NaruHina and SasuSaku somehow aren't.
The last time Naruto thought about his feelings for Sakura were on chapter 3, it was settled that his crush was based on his fettish for Sakura's forehead, he liked this in particular physical trait and her looks which describes as a crush, later he falls in love with her because she also seeks acknowledgement from Sasuke after that there's nothing else more.
The rest is not reasons but rather how Naruto cherishs Sakura's happiness i like to see her happy.
If it was would be something that had done implicity without saying out loud the unquestionable fact are on chapter 3, since he stated that his feelings matured to love when he was about to kiss her.
When on the begining of the chapter he said "a girl that i like" later when he was about to kiss he already acknowledges as love.
If someone is labeled as a Tomboy that generally means they do not fit in the category of what is "typical" for a girl, and have more traits in common with the opposite gender. Their personal style is somewhat masculine (loose fitting clothes, not very fashionable, etc) and their personality is often a bit rude and/or unchecked. Sakura has worn dresses and skirts. She's very polite to strangers and those in higher positions, and is generally warmhearted and welcoming. She is a kunoichi of course so she fights-- I don't see how that makes her more of a tomboy.
She doesn't have to be especially focused on her looks to be considered feminine. It's the way she carries herself. I believe "fierce" is a better word to describe her than "tomboy", which I think implies things that don't really fit with who she is.
Sakura was also the same way however Kushina was more described around beating boys who mocked her around.
Tomboyish also describes someome who doesnt dresses up like a woman took it from another manga, Kushina also worn dresses and skirts too
Also here's how she dressed up

But anyway character attractiveness is more a personal matter, as to show up here's my preference of clothes when it comes to characters.
Also the pinnacle of attractiveness on this manga is long hair followed with a dress.
Which is also show when Tsunade commented about Kushina's status of being a beatifull woman and how magically Sakura's hair started growing recently.
