Kishi decided NH a long time ago huh.  So it's like this:

- NH decided

- *thinks for a moment* Maybe I'll go with NS

- Nahhhhh Sakura would be terrible if that happens

 

Really Kishi? Because because moving on to someone who treats you right is terrible? Also, he said "after coming this far" when considering NS, and that means he WASN'T planning NS from the start.  He was well into the story when he considered NS, but even so, he went with NH which was apparently planned "long ago".

 

The thing that annoys me more is the Sakura being terrible bit.  So you had NH planned from long ago, possibly from the start. Ok whatever. But Sakura is terrible for moving on?! After Sasuke tried to KILL her? Kishi...

Yup harry potter versi jepang. Kekuatan manga ini tu pada drama, art, sama koreografi pertarungan. Tapi yang Lainnya tu ancur banget.
Sekacau kacaunya alur cerita bleach, karakterisasi nya masih lebih ungulates Dari pada naruto.

They weren't all romantic, but if NaruSaku wasn't the intended endgame, then why were they there in the first place? Why weren't they dedicated to Sasuke? Why was it Sakura that was depicted thinking about Naruto the most if he were intended to end with Hinata after the war? It makes no sense.

 

Road to Ninja validated nearly every parallel theory associated with NaruSaku. It was obvious before, but Kishimoto couldn't have made it more clear it was all by design in that movie.

 

Now he's trying to spin past events in something they're not.

 

Now we're supposed to forget what Yamato was about to say to Sakura. We're supposed to forget about Sai playing intermediary for NaruSaku. We're supposed to forget Naruto loved Sakura so much he was willing to suffer his entire life for her sake. We're supposed to forget she had feelings for him, that she didn't know what she thought of him because of those feelings, and so on and so forth.

 

It's clear he's sweeping NaruSaku under the rug to validate NaruHina and SasuSaku.

I'm not Kishi I can't answer your questions about why this or that, I'm just trying to find my own answer which is "pairing tease" after all we weren't the only one who got ship tease through those 15 years, NH/SS and SK also had ship teases. If NS happened, SS/NH would also ask themeselves why they had pairing tease (before and during the war). I'm not defending Kishimoto, on the contrary, I'm criticizing the fact that he teased every ship.

This is the guy who had no idea how to defeat his own villain, who created "kaguya" on the spot just so he could kill said villain

Kaguya being one of the worst villains in shonen history

So its not unlikely he was still in doubt by 615 at least.
This chapter was around the same time they started producing the last wasn't it? See? Everything fits

I think I expressed myself in a bad way, I meant that I wouldn't like it if he decided himself this late in the story. But I still think it was at Hinata's confession that he made up his mind. All the fake confession arc was his way of killng NS and the rest (Kushina and all) were just some teases or us looking too deep in something that could have just been an advise from a mother to her son. Though Minato's comparaison is still a mystery to me if that were the case.

So what? Sakura shouldn't interact with Naruto nor think about him after Kishimoto made up his mind about NH/SS? All those panels are not romantic, we were interprating them as romantic hints because we thought NS was end game back then. 

As for the rest,it's either pairing tease, or either us looking too deep, or either Kishi was still not decided on the pairing until 615 which is highly unlikey since it was almost the end. The thing is that we'll never know when he made up his mind since there was always pairing tease to every ship, when it was not NS? it was NH or SS when it was neither NH or SS it was NS.

The only one in the whole manga who ends up with their foreshadowed pairing is ShikaTema. Yet Sakura's the one who's a terrible woman for having a change of heart. When literally everyone else did. Including the main character. 

 

And right, any pairing could have been developed, at any time and in such a way that all characters were respected. Hell, he could've even tried to make Sasuke a decent guy so he could win over some of the NS ship to the pairing. But nope.

 

I don't think I'll ever understand what happened here, what was going through Kishimoto's mind.

 

I will say, however, that I don't buy that it all went according to some grand NH plan. I think the only plan he had was to milk the pairing wars for all he could, then just end it on whatever looks the most promising for a future series. I think he sold out, and these interviews about having it all mapped out are just a cover-your-*ss story.

Honestly after that interview Kishi clearly showed he is not a good writer to screw up your story to such a point for something that wasnt developed in it is just plain bad writing.

The fact Naruto never once was attracted to Hinata, and Sasuke never to Sakura, whilst Sakura did have feelings for Naruto makes it clear that this ending is kitten.

I'm blaming Kishimoto. The NS ship only wanted what Naruto himself wanted. And for Sakura we wanted what was best for her, the one who cherished her for who she really was. We only wanted the best for those two characters. So it's sure as heck not us.

 

The movie is just a vehicle to generate interest in the next series. Nothing more. In fact, I think they could just call it something else, because it's now so unlike the Naruto from the manga.

 

For me, RtN will always be the true Last movie.

We were looking too much into the Kushina thing.  This is simple when you think about it:

 

Kushina: Find a woman like your mother.

Minato: This girl (Sakura) reminds me of Kushina.

Naruto: Not everything mom said is going according to plan.

 

Chapter 691 frightened me, although I didn't say anything when it came out.

 

I'm going to say NS was disregarded after the Kage Summit/Sakura's confession.  Because according to the interview Kishi is pretty much saying he's gone this far and having Sakura "switch" would be terrible.  The whole confession was mocking Sakura switching over to Naruto, so it was in the manga (what he said in the interview).  She would be "fickle" if she did that.

 

Of course many of us don't agree with Kishi's perspective... but I rest my case.

It hurts.... The whole CPR moment was beautiful.  Kishi wrote this knowing Naruto would end up with Hinata. I'm convinced he knew it would be NH throughout the entire war arc.

 

The time he thought about NS was probably during the beginning of part two.  So we were not wrong in thinking NS could happen from back then.

Exactly.  Kishi apparently made up his mind long ago on pairings yet continued to tease NS.  That's just cruel.  

I'm not sure I believe the sold out theory anymore... It came from Kishi's mouth that he himself planned NH long ago and that he decided not to go with NS for bullsh** reasons.  I just wish we knew EXACTLY what point he decided to go with NH and bail on NS.  What I honestly got was he planned NH first (maybe not from the get go but before NS), then considered NS, but reverted back to NH. Again, for reasons that make no sense at all. I guess Naruto is terrible for moving on to Hinata after... 699 CHAPTERS. Talk about "coming this far" and then "suddenly switching over", you literally had Naruto loving Sakura until the last chapter of the series Kishi! Smh.

The more Kishimoto, his assistants, and anyone involved with Naruto opens their mouths they shoot themselves more in the foot. Every thing they keep saying recently has contradicted EVERYTHING that 698 chapters have expressed. Everything is a huge lie and possibly the worst written story ever. I have read some bad stories in my time, but this one takes the cake. This one absolutly tales the cake.



Kishimoto has ruined his entire manga and EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER and continues to prove me wrong whenever I give him a little respect. Well...Kishimoto....I am never buying anything from you ever again. I am never buying any future manga...I am never reading anything from you...and I am never giving you another dime.

IMO the "timeline" of his interview makes no sense. To say that he decided early on NH is utter BS to me and seems like he's just trying to save face.
