AoT Volume 17 Came in first with 771,157 copies sold and Gaiden came in second with 619,726  now I would've preferred if it came in tenth, but  I'm glad AoT came in above Gaiden, even though I kinda saw it coming.. Now we just got to see where the results go for next week

Here's the good news about the numbers. I don't know if it's true or not. My coworker told me Bleach's most recent volume first week sale, sold over 240,000 copies. I was stunned at the sales. I never knew how much Bleach's fandom has diminished over the three and the half years.

Why am I talking Bleach? It's simple. The final volume to be sold in the anime's final week. I vaguely remembered it (which I can be 80% wrong). If I recalled, that volume sold between 400,000-600,000 copies in its first week. And now you guys do the math

The final Naruto volume had a 80% decreased in sales in its second week, witch makes the Naruto Gaiden's approximate sales to be 60,000+ copies in the next week to come. That's enough to push the NG pass 700k. 100-300K over Bleach's volume that was released in the anime's final week. That is not enough to sustain the Naruto franchise in Japan.

SP and SJ knows this and that is why they kicked out the old fandom and gambled on the west to bring them wealth. The main issue with this is that this franchise has yet to prove it can beat the Online Piracy Act (excluding with RTN) time after time. If they failed again like with TL. They are going to regret it for the rest of their lives.

Speaking of Bleach, OPM may start passing it. The anime hasn't happened yet, but some believe the series could be the next AoT rise. I would love that but we shall see.

Yeah, quite...considering Kishi on the other hand who thought that having 10 chapters of Chou Chou asking who her father is, was considered by his standards a comical masterpiece.

That is why i said before , the western fanbase may be huge, more bigger than japanese fanbase but more than 70% of them reading the manga online / pirating.

 

When SP make popularity poll/vote they see that NH got bigger popularity and most of it coming from the west, while NS got average vote and most of it come from their own country. Seeing this SP greed take over their mind, if we give the west fan what they want will got more green bucks. If what you said is true then they are pretty much kittened up.

Given that, I think it's pretty obvious Naruto is a kitten friend.

Yeah , stuff like that tells us that Naruto and Sakura have drifted apart to an extreme. These pairings destroy old bonds and friendships and make new, empty ones out of thin air. Just another reason out of the millions why NH and SS suck.

And it also spits on the face of the canon established as is, like how The Last claims Hinata was always there for Naruto, which we know is BS, since he's always been alone before Iruka showed he believed in him, even when Naruto assumed during the clash with Mizuki that Iruka hated him too, just like everyone else, same with how he felt after failing the graduation exam again as if he was getting singled out. And also claiming Naruto only loved Sakura because of his rivalry with Sasuke, when Sasuke never gave a crap about "wanting" Sakura (and I still think in my head he only married her to get a win over Naruto, since we've seen even if he's married to Hinata that Naruto loves her still with how he has his old attitude and all in Gaiden when he talked about her to Sarada, and all his other actions through the series showing he really did and likely still does love Sakura.
