  • Interests:Honestly, western sakura haters are pathetic (if your wondering why I say western, its because thats where all the sakura haters are) they hate sakura for the stupidest reasons, makes me wonder if they even read the manga for anything besides illogically hating on her, and even more so if they even read the same manga. Seriously they really are blind if they think sakura isn't the most popular female character in naruto and has a huge fanbase in japan, kishimoto-sensie's main fanbase. Honsetly, they aren't true naruto fans because they're practically bashing the main heroine of the series who has had AMAZING and deep emotional development, both romace-wise , character-wise and-power wise, and the love interest, Haruno sakura, of the main hero, Uzumaki Naruto. That alone is an insult to kishimoto-sensie's work. Not to mention they rub off the japanese culture, which is important to know if you wanna 100% understand the details of the manga.

My hobbies are drawing, and reading awesome facts about anything I love! Oh and how could I forget, I love playing on my PS3, my favourite online game is Team Fortress 2, favourite character to play with is the scout! (Although I love all of 'em).
Bless the PS2 era...and all those awesome games... (applause to you if you were part of that gaming age, jack and daxter, sly, spyro, crash etc.)

The Naruto vs. Sasuke showdown will be one on one. Naruto's made it clear that he wants to take care of him by himself. And as for Sakura's part in it .... I honestly don't think she'll take a major fighting aspect in it. As much as I'd love a JiraTsu vs. Orochimaru 2.0, I just really don't see it at all. All the build-up of the SasuNaru showdown will kind of be ruined if Sakura's fighting in it. I think Sakura know she won't help fight Sasuke, she did say she'll believe in them after all and that she can't do anything.

However, this is not to say that Sakura will play a small part overall. It's the final resolution of T7 so of course she'll play pretty heavily in the emotional aspect. I predict she'll stay out of most if not the entire fight but before this she'll have a talk with Naruto as he goes to fight Sasuke the last time. I think here Sakura will express her worries over his "We'll both end up dying" comment back in the Kage Summit, Naruto probably brushing it off and telling her everything will be fine like he usually does which would make Sakura blow up. Cue dramatic NS talk that'll draw it closer to being canon. I'm not entirely sure of the specific details but it does seem like Kishi is heading this direction. The last arc will be pretty obvious with Sakura's inner conflict over her feelings for Sasuke and Naruto so that's why she'll still be important.

I can't help but remember the first Sasuke vs. Naruto fight on the rooftop when Sakura ran between them as they were fighting. This was clear foreshadowing IMO of Sakura's conflict over her two love interests (Yeah, I know back then she didn't like Naruto but you get what I'm saying lol). That was the first time, the last time? She'll chose who she loves most in a state of emotion similiar to back then, but I don't think she'll actually run between them. I meant in the emotional aspect. She'll show up towards the end of the fight and finally make up her mind about her feelings for Naruto, I think. The near-death scene in the OVA might actually happen IMO.

Bolded: bring on the SS canon troll scene. Sakura chooses Sasuke because she loves getting treated like crap. biggrin.gif
kruemelmonsteryn0.gif

Seriously though, is it much of a chose for her between the two?? why would she choose Sasuke over Naruto ever??

Right now, the challenge is for her to see Naruto as a man, not like a friend or dare I say, a brother. Not that I'm saying she thinks that way (who knows though), point is her to see him as a man who can take care of her till the end. At least, that's what I think.

Didnt she acknowledged it on the fake confession and even on the "path to radiance" chapter?

While I had hoped that the final battle would be an epic team 7 event and no matter what Naruto said/insisted on, Sakura would fight with him to bring back Sasuke in the end, Kishi again, did not go in that direction. Based on what Sakura said in the past about getting stronger and helping Naruto, I thought for sure he was going to build her up. He built her up fantastically in the Sasori arc, but I guess that's as far as he wanted to go.

The final battle is most likely going to be one on one... but maybe Sakura/Kakashi/Sai/Yamato(if he's rescued) will fight Taka on the sidelines or something. I guess this really is the wrong manga to be hoping for strong super duper saiyian level females. laugh.gif

What? so she can see Sasuke being a man since part 1??

This is what infuriates me about Sakura sometimes, she see's Sasuke as being better then Naruto more so in part 1. Surely she has woken up to Naruto in the sense of seeing him as a great man already, since he is a hero of the village after beating pain.

Good point. I'm just tired. Being awake so early isn't easy on your mind. Funny how in storm 3 Ino trying not to acknowledge Naruto as a man as Sasuke, rather Sakura never brought up minus his relationship with Sasuke (being a rival).

yeah.

It just pisses me off so much that it's Naruto having to prove everything to Sakura. It should be her proving she is worthy of anything from Naruto. The mere fact that she just fell in "love" with Sasuke for no good reason other then looks and popularity sickens me. Near the end of part 1 yes it developed beyond this but still..

Naruto having to bust his balls non stop, putting his feelings aside, having his heart pretty much crushed by Sakura all so she can have her selfish childhood crush back sickens me to my core..

And on top of this they way Naruto was treated in his youth, especially by her just.....She really needs a reality check. She needs to be told how selfish she was in the past.

BTW - people say that Sakura has these feeling of not deserving Naruto. Where did this come from??? what chapter?

EDIT - This is why i think Naruto temporarily dying would be the biggest wake up call for her. She would realize everything Naruto has done for her, how he went above and beyond for her every day.

Not deserving part will have to come from Sai telling her that Naruto loves her. The reason is because once he told her, she remembers all the moments Naruto went through pain and keep promising her to get him back, so she proceeds to burst in tears. The most striking point is when Sai told her even though Sasuke is to be blamed for his pain, perhaps she is too to be blamed, hence how strong that panel was demonstrated. Plus she said she felt that he was a fool to be in love with her, after she has done to him. So yeah, we need another talk to make her feel not a burden, but a perfect support for him.

I know. The question is what does she feel now. Does she still sees herself as a burden, which therefore so determined to work together to prove herself wrong or what. I noticed that a lot of shows has a lead female character not wanting to feel a burden to a lead male character. To make her feel better, the easy seal deal is the guy to make a comment on her. I want Naruto to tell her that she's never a burden or I want her to ask him that. They kept it so hidden that they don't know or don't want to know what the others feels.

I know, it's really disappointing. sleep.gif But I'm not very positive about awesome Sakura spotlight, Kishi's track record has been pretty poor in that. Sure, there was the Kage Summit but look how great that was. I think she can get a moment or two to be a heroine even though it's late, but the most of her character development is included in romance and shipping. dry.gif

@HauntedCake: Lol yeah, it's obvious that Sakura will chose Naruto over Sasuke in the end. biggrin.gif Or at least it's supposed to be. *gives a glance to the NH/SS fandoms* rolleyes.gif

And on top of this they way Naruto was treated in his youth, especially by her just.....She really needs a reality check. She needs to be told how selfish she was in the past.

The Summit arc brought all of those unmentioned issues to light. To this day I believe the Summit arc was the most emotionally dark arc in Naruto. Everyone became a mess there.

You have Kakashi resigning himself to kill Sasuke even though he still loved him.
You have Sakura having an emotional breakdown for realizing the unintentional pain she brought to Naruto.
You have Naruto becoming so unsure of himself that he ended up passing out because of the pressure of how to deal with Sasuke.
And finally you have Sasuke immersing himself so much in the darkness that he betrayed his current team (Taka) and nearly killed Karin and Sakura.

It truly was Team 7's darkest hour.

If Sakura's speech in 573 is anything to go by she's already determined to be with Naruto no matter what. Now we have to wait and see if Kishi will make that become true or if he made Sakura say that just for show. I would find it completely ridiculous that in this monumental battle Kishi decides to give more relevance to Hinata then Sakura. It would truly be insulting to her character and I can't believe Kishi would think that lowly of her. He even has a keychain of Sakura in his office desk so it will perplex me if Sakura truly is relegated to the background.

The Samurai cover page of 616 makes me believe he hasn't forgotten her importance in the overall story. Otherwise it would just be the typical Naruto and Sasuke cover page, and Sakura would be nowhere to be seen, or it would also include Kakashi since he's also part of Team 7. Also, something the majority of NH, SS and anti-NS tend to overlook is that Naruto and Sakura are standing side by side in that cover page while Sasuke is a scroll in the background. It's probably not a big deal but for Sakura supposedly being Sasuke's destined lover she's hilariously more associated with Naruto then him.

But even I'll admit that when Kishi return to the battlefield he better start showing Sakura because as of now is getting ridiculous how absent she is. Even during chapter 617 people from all fandoms and even reviewers kept wondering where on earth did Sakura go when Naruto needed someone to fix his shoulder. Whether it was people who hated Sakura that mocked her absence or people that like her and where disappointed at seeing Hinata do the fixing, it did make people talk about Sakura not being there. This makes me wonder if Kishi truly used Hinata in that chapter as a means to make people think of Sakura, because whether they love her or hate her people did bring up Sakura.

Ever since Minato's been revived, I keep hoping Rin will as well. That hospital scene would then be a foreshadowing of Team Minato's conflict if it happens. And it'd be a hundred times more emotional than the one in Part I. The amount of grief and angst Rin will feel when she sees and learns how far her boys have fallen.... god... the FEELS....

Bolded: YES! a_thumbs.gif

But her "love" for sasuke had no logic behind it to begin with. It's just a childhood crush gone unchecked. It completely hurts her character as it shows immaturity at it's finest. How she just fell head over heels for sasuke for no reason, and then having Naruto have to go to the ends of the earth and beyond just to get her to acknoledge him is beyond me TBH. facepalm.png

Yep, The lack of Sakura has really hurt us NS fans, as well as all Sakura fans. Why would he sideline The main heroine for so long?? unless soon Sakura will be involved in the final arc a hell of a lot. Myabe the best is saved for last? a_dance.gif

I can't help but trying not to sound biased but honestly, if Sakura goes to Sasuke, her character will be destroyed. If she goes to Naruto, then her character will be great. It's just how the story made. Well, at least the love triangle is not like they're fighting over her, especially this late because god knows I don't need that crap and I already got one from a game which is extremely unnecessary. True, she can go to no one option, but it really seems Kishi is going to end with one pairing at the very least.

What make it worse as the part tha she was honest on the confession, she said that naruto makes her feel safe, encourage her, supported her, was there at her side makes her happy and other stuff pretty much having 0 reasons left for her to love Sasuke, i think Kishimoto will have to change the entire series for SS to make it canon because he pratically left any reason for her to love Sasuke, Sasuke is not more an influence on her life, it wasnt him who make her grown and encouraged her it was Naruto so, there's no reason for SS to be canon.
Sasuke is nothing to Sakura aside for being her crush but srsly he's nothing.

it even pretty much describes what kishi said "she says she loves Sasuke but Naruto is close to her heart" it's kinda obvious, she says that she's in love with him but there are no reasons for her to love Sasuke, Sasuke wasnt an influence on her life aside from being a crush, Sai's words make her think about her feelings for Naruto which ended up with the fact that she acknowledged who he was on her life but she didnt think what Sasuke is to her life, she only think and reminds about her crush but there is any reason for her, Hinata have a reasons to love Naruto, since Naruto was a big influence on her life but what a about Sasuke?
there's nothing for him.
There's nothing to justify her love for Sasuke it's ridiculous, even Karin and Ino, Sasuke had 0 influence on Ino's life and the construction of her actual personality the same is with Sakura, Naruto is the big influence on Sakura's life, with the "no giving up", promise wanting to be strong to help Naruto.
with Karin it's shown 0 influence aside from the fact he saved her life but the fact that he didnt influenced her life is the reason why her perhaps moved on so quickly from Sasuke.

Not to mention Sasuke has no emotional benefit from getting together with Sakura. He would do it just for the sake of doing it.

Naruto and Sakura have an emotional benefit from getting together with each other. From Naruto's side is his deep unselfish love for her and from Sakura's side is how her feelings for Naruto bring her joy.

Naruto also has no emotional benefit from getting together with Hinata since there's no build up towards him looking at Hinata as more than a friend. It doesn't matter how many times Naruto holds Hinata's hand, if he can't think of and look at her with the fondness he shows Sakura or how Sakura herself does so with Naruto then there won't be any emotional impact with them getting together.
