Weekly ranking is out and no Naruto is out. But the one that should have been Sakura if done right for once, let alone passable, is number 1. Fairy Tail is #2 and Skip Beat! is at #5. Anyway, good for them.

It's implanted into the story, there is no clear pairing moments for pairing purpose. Both parts developed through the story. Both sides got a tons of signs and parallels to other genarations. It was one of main skeletons of story telling in manga, though it was more foreshadowed than spoken openly. And at best - whole purpose of couple was happines of other partner not "I may die, but he totally needs to know what I feel", both choose ways for happines of partner.

And who's to say that NH couldn't have been the same way? If Kishi truly cared about NH he could have developed it to the point were it was just as strong and believable as NS.

Even if you don't see the potential doesn't mean others can't as well

Raikage kidnapped Hinata and almost risked a war between Konoha, Onooki hired the Akatsuki, Gaara is a crazy murderer that should be locked up not a leader, see these are three out of five who are complete asses, even Mei denied Gaara any help when needed. Sasuke just thinks that the Shinobi made an alliance because they had a common enemy he doesn't know that they bonded while fighting together.

 

In the Killer Bee fight he got defeated he wasn't a master at it and had to train with the. They were in jest, it showed that he remembered her confession and their first conversion together, and I wasn't saying it was justified because it isnt but rather giving someone "tough love" isn't an entirely new premise in Naruto. 

 

Sakura went to Sasuke and said that she would help him in destroying Konaho, he wants to test her by telling her to kill Karin for him, she hesitates which means she obviously isn't going to help him and he probably figured she was planing something, the thrid time she was sticking a knife to his back, and the first time he didn't want to kill her as showed by Yamato who took the hit. He looks at Kakashi/Sasuke and finds out that Kakashi has it under control.  I'm not trying to act like Sasuke is a saint he isnt but he also isn't a complete ass....

 

Sasuke was there for the duration of the war, he was there as everyone laid their feelings on the line, he was there when they all joined together to pull the bijuu out of Obito together, he was there when Naruto declared that he had faith in them and they were united. He didn't care. Sasuke wanted what he wanted, he was nothing more than a selfish brat who had no idea what he was doing, he was power hungry. Nothing more. 

 

At no point after the killer b fight did he train with the MS. You realize that "jest" means joking, right? He wasn't joking, he was telling the truth. He never had any interest in her. So he was showing tough love when he put her in a brutal genjutsu in which he showed himself stabbing her in the chest? 

 

So hesitation is grounds for murder? The first time, he did want to kill her, Yamato noticed and jumped in the way. Later, he was getting ready to use Kirin on all four of them. He has tried to kill her 3 times.

People sure pick option 3 which is neither more often than ever now...I can't think of a scenario to force you guys to choose one. Even my girlfriend choose the middle. Damn you all...

As I said in the movie thread back in November: You are asking me to choose between the porta potty that someone threw up in and the one with someone who missed it when going number 2. Both options suck, so I choose the least crappy option and hold it until I get home.

HinaNaru (that's what it really was) was a unilateral relationship throughout the entire manga, even in the ending we saw nothing from Naruto. The only idea of Naruto's feelings came for the movie

What a disgrace. How people are ok with someone try to kill their romantic partner by saying it was out of love is absolutely sickening. The SS fanbase disgusts me.

I believe he said something like that. I just meant that if his true intentions were those two pairings he should have put more work into them. Either that or written the story so that he could develop them. Such as, like konan pointed out, have Hinata on team 7 instead of Sakura

I don't know about you guys, but to me SasuSaku is the WORST couple in Naruto. Yes, I dislike characters like Hinata, but in my eyes NaruHina is still more acceptable than SasuSaku. Doesn't matter that Sasuke and Sakura had some form of "relationship" to start with unlike Naruto and Hinata.

Trying to justify murder attempts and violence has me up to here!

In all honesty, Sasuke should have just ended up alone.

He said that he was on the fence about doing NS but decided not to so yeah.......

I know but Sasuke thinks that soon enough the alliance will break up as the common enemy is defeated. She came to him to declare that she would help destroy her village which has all her friends and families, how does it look if she cant kill a random criminal without hesitation but she would be able to do that to the village, Yamato stated that Sasuke was dangerous, Sasuke saw Sakura rushing at him to attack him so he was ready to stab her when he stabbed Yamato he didn't have the intention to kill him.....

Sasuke is an immoral spoiled brat. His character always has been. He gets by in the fandom because of his looks, and his supposed "bad boy" attitude (the way Mussolini was a bad boy). If he looked like Quasimodo his fanbase wouldn't be half the size it is now. Sasuke first and formost has always been about his wants and desires, leading off with his desire for revenge. Which is his only character drive. First against Itachi, then against Konaha, then against the Ninja System, and final against Naruto because he stood in the way of his fascist plans to rule the known world under his iron fist.

 

Blame Kishimoto, or cultural differences. I'm not sure which, but when you boil it down Sasuke is a horrible person, who has no respect for the rights of man. His life was kitten, so everyone else deserves to feel like kitten to, and if you are allowed to live it will be under his laws, his rules, by his allowance. If you live to see the dawn it will be because he allowed it. That's Sasuke Uchiha before Naruto punched him hard and showed he was hard to kill. After that now Sasuke is "pure" again who is sorry cause he couldn't kill Naruto. Heaven help the ninja verse if Naruto has a heart attack from eating nothing but ramen noodles and whiskey, because I wouldn't be shocked to see him go postal again, if he was anything like a true person. My two cents. Besides Hinata, Sasuke is the most overrated, and stereotypical character in the story which is saying a lot with this flaming pile of burning dog crap in a bag called the "Naruto" manga/anime.

He is selfish because he wants to do what he wants and what he preferred, regardless of how everyone else felt. He determined that his life and his ambitions were worth more than the lives and freedom of everyone else. He wasn't joking about how he felt, he felt, and always has felt, that she was annoying. When he put her in the genjutsu, he wasn't trying to protect her, he didn't need her interfering. He literally gives zero kittens about Sakura.

Looks like 17. His coming home and seeing her hiding behind a tree in on the far right second row last image. Either way it's obvious that there isn't any build up to this relationship.
