I meant what if we see Hinata next chapter... Pain Arc v.2
I'm okay with no romantic NS stuff next few chapters, anyway... but now it's the best time to throw in some NS moments (considering Sakura is one of the few people who knows what's going to happen to a jinchuriki after Tail Beast extraction).

Lol. I don't think there's Hinata next chapter as in Pain Arc v.2. It doesn't fit with the story line and, besides, what she's going to do again if she gets like back in Pain Arc ? Throws herself ? It's already done.

 

If the alliance will know about Naruto's condition then for sure we'll get to see her in few panels cause, well, it's Naruto and she'll show her concern or seeing her with everyone else, etc.

When you think about it, it's Sakura that let us know that something has changed when it comes to Naruto, like Kyuubi is different from her moment, or how Kyuubi was handled without Yamato, etc. So yeah, I can see why many see Sakura very soon. I'm not worried about her role being "taken away" by another. I just don't want to think so much before it can be negated altogether.

To me, Sakura's concerns were forshadowing Naruto becoming exhausted and unable to fight because he tried to help everyone at once. In any case she's worried about Naruto's safety, so she'll probably be somewhat involved in his rescue assuming he somehow hasn't died from having the bijuu extracted. Kishimoto made that rule very clear. You lose your bijuu, you die. Now Naruto has the advantage of being an Uzumaki so he won't immediately die but now that Kurama's gone he's only got a few minutes at most left to live. This can potentially be extended by Minato giving him chakra or Sakura healing him. 

 

Kurama had also been plotting with Gaara moments beforehand so if nothing else we know that Gaara will be the most important person involved with saving Naruto. I think it makes a lot of sense for things to go down that way, after all it was Naruto who "saved" Gaara before.

I don't think she will throw herself either.. but she might try to do something reckless again. I'm quite sure we will see some NH moment (big or small), because that's what we usually get: NS moments are followed by HN or SS ones and vice-versa.

We have nothing to worry about, though. Chances we see NS moment are the same.

Plus my predictions are usually wrong, ahaha~

That's true. It's just I want to think otherwise because it can backfire like 616. Even though there was no real foreshadow at all for NH, aside that fills the same as every other characters, I just want to think too highly for this occasion. I want to be shocked.

It's not only possible but also appropriate for a ns moment to come up next.

It's like the naruto meeting talking to obito about rin segment, a mention or relation with sakura could have been thrown in and it would have been appropriate but it didn't come up. It's the same thing this time, but instead it can be a much more emotional one on sakura if it occurs. It may not happen but the setup is very appropriate for it considering even unlike the naruto obito meeting, this occurrence was long hinted as a constant possibility in part 2 and it finally happened, something sakura feared for a long time shockingly happened.

There is still the buildup with say whatever Sasuke pulls later and there should definitely be something ns related in the time near the start of the naruto vs Sasuke final battle.

I wasn't ever a shipping fan until around the 4 tails incident, that's when I started following narusaku. It's just I considered nh a possibility and it looked like it could have happened after pain and the land of iron, but as Kishi didn't expand hinata enough even after this, as the land of iron questions of who naruto loved was up in the air for a while until 631 came, as the Kushina minato early interaction was built like Sakura's and narutos, etc. really it was just more and more focus on naruto and sakura, hardly any on nh and SS was just antagonistic on sakura and to a degree naruto. Really I saw it as just the simplist thing, more screentime equals more importance, ns got more development, it's not going to just vanish or end as nothing in favor for something that's hardly been touched upon, character with little relevance to the story, etc. likewise, just why should Sasuke love sakura if he hasn't this long, he doesn't have a need to. To me it was ns always had a chance and it just grew, nh had a chance but it declined as the series went on without building nh in the way ns has. SS just became impossible after the land of iron to me, more than ever after 635.

I'm just keeping a wait and see mindset, Kishi's been pretty bad at giving Sakura any consistent screen time, so I just don't know what to expect and it almost feels better to have no expectations than to have them and be let down.

Same here... I try not to think too much about upcoming chapters and keep my expectations low.

But this cliffhanger...
660 was mainly concentrated on that sand priest and Shukaku, but I thought it also has a few hints that could be applied to both friendship and romantic relationships (this is probably wishful thinking, but still!):

• "the mouth says things opposite to what the heart really feels"
• "the hidden heart wants people to accept each other even if one of them is a beast"
• "(...) there will definitely be someone that will save and guide you (...) once you've accepted that person's hidden heart, you will also understand the meaning of the words [heart][accept] my master carved into my hands"
