That certainly came out of nowhere.
 
Lol Hinatards call this character development when she used a new technique. After arcs and chapters about the sasuke drama I totally forgot what she could do. A little development on how she got there would have not hurt.

  
Yeah, it really came out of nowhere. I hate how everyone lauds that as some selfless act. It wasn't. She didn't go down there for Naruto. She went down there for herself. She's literally one of the most disgusting characters I've ever seen.

Funny how SP tried to animate it like she was some graceful swan. I like the manga version where as soon as she touched the ground, he was like "Go away fly" and then she got swatted.

I think people have read far too much into this and give it far more weight than it deserves. I needed my car to get to work today. Doesn't mean I want to screw it. I saw nothing that would allow to distinguish "need" beyond that her specific skills were needed for a given task. When they were not he was willing to kill her.

Plus, a couple of pages later, Sasuke said "fine, I'll get someone else" when she continued to refuse. People seem to conveniently forget that...

Karin ofcouse. At least she saw both sides and stayed there for him. This is in happy end of his, that he barely deserves.

2. Sakura's Hiden happens in the spring after the Last

3. While cheering for her friend's love life, she has not let known of her own feelings

4. "Till when (should I) wait"

(Looks like someone is growing impatient because of all the hookups around her)


Other tidbits
The word choice 想い忍ぶ者 (omoishinobumono) might explain why her feelings were described as "hidden", she is suppressing them...
The word "試練" (Shiren, "ordeal") in the synopsis is probably a pun of 思恋 (Shiren, "longing, yearning") in the title of her novel
