Opening 13 is so damn awesome that it's actually surreal. I think because Gintama has this style that has been known since the beginning. This season 2 1/2 or Overdrive was the most serious season of them all, but that's because it's short. But man, it left me a great impression for what's to come soon for me. Just brilliant.

Opening 13 is absolutely beautiful. I have literally no idea what is going on in there, but I'm still watching and listening to it over and over again XD

How come there's one season with only 13 episodes?

 

It's a wishful thinking. One day though. HxH went through it. Let's hope for that one. It needs an appropriate adaptation.

I actually heard the SP version of HxH was really good.

It really tells a story but I won't ruin it. The arc was fantastic and it was the best way to keep people wanting more while watching comedy side of the series. There's only 13 episodes because well I don't know really, but the fourth wall ongoing joke by Sunrise is the hype for the final chapter movie. The reveal got the cast upset at the crew. Lol. That said it was the most serious season yet.

Btw, clever use of Assassination Classroom reference in the episode I stopped at. Lol.

As for HxH SP edition, it was pretty good. This is arguably the last good adaptation without any hiccups.

Oh that's because the anime ended before the Courtesan arc, but they decided to do two arcs for a bit and ended again at Sadaharu

Oh that's because the anime ended before the Courtesan arc, but they decided to do two arcs for a bit and ended again at Sadaharu

Yeah. Which btw I was losing it in that last episode. I was praying in my head "Please live!" Truth be told, in media, dog's death is just way harder for me to handle than human.

another 50...in fact no...you're going to another one really soon in like 8 episodes lol After that you get tiny character arcs just before another big arc starts and you'll see the relationships of those characters
