Did... did they just make Sakura literally say "blush"? Who the hell announces that they're blushing?

 

I'm sorry but I can't take any of that translation seriously.

Viz translation is the same as MP. Sakura's feelings for Sasuke have changed, she loves him but on a different level. Her crush has evolved into a very powerful mature love (notice the sarcasm lol). But serious both MP and Viz leads to SS been friendzoned because she loves him as a friend/teammate.

It's funny how the second panel didn't follow up with feelings but with care, which makes sense. Again, it should have just keep following love to the end. The point is it is the same but in a more ambiguous way. My first read in MP is that SS is dead. This one would make me rewind. That and maybe just maybe continue this debate for a while.

If you still feel unsure, why not keep waiting until this battle ends. Surely one of them will get more favoritism than other. Kind of like how they did it in one Gundam series. Nevertheless, I stand by my words.

Its not anything big but we were wrong in saying SS is dead romantically, Kishi still hasnt decided and gave us a very ambiguous conversation.

That's them. The thing is about VIZ is that they're making things ambiguous than it wasn't. What we read is straight forward while others could be interpreted in two ways.

Honestly I dont know. When it comes to regular things, they are very correct but with pairing they can be so biased, or we can just be ignoring official scans. NH and SS are so popular in the west, they may be changing certain things to make those pairing seem better. Again I dont know, I am just going to go with the conversation not changing anything. It was ambiguous, not deciding any pairing's fate.

the whole thing of "on a totally different level" isn't much bothering. But the fact that they have omitted that loved ruins everthing... It have would be perfect if they wouldn't cut off it..

That part really screwed me up, as now their maturing into love theory made a little sense. But it could still be friendship as the different level.

I'm fine with it. It's just wish they just keep it simple as it is and don't go with terms that can be dated. I want a timeless story in my collections.

It's so biased, ther is nothing such as that in the real raw. It's ridiculous for professional to do such a thing. It's the only part that is so different from the raw. I'm glad I'm not american.

And no I'm not fine with the way they translated that "on a totally different level" it looks like her feelings are indeed deeper, while Kakashi only said, they were different. I hope Kishi really kill SS on the next chapters.

well what do you know,the ss fans are saying that sasuke was jealous in this chapter becase naruto had the attention of his ''girl'' sakura and said ''dont let your guards down'' to which naruto replied ''ha?! you never told me that''?...any opinions?was this discussed on this thread before?was sasuke realy jealous?i say he wasnt neccesarly jealous in a romantic way,more like he was jealous at naruto's new powers..idk

Kind of a hypocritical thing to say but whatever.

Let's try this again...because obviously there's a communication problem going on here and its causing problems.

Sakura says she's already in love with someone that person can be one of 2 people Naruto or Sasuke and its apparently Sasuke. This I believe is a step backward in her character because aside from having no real reason to love him in the first place, she still after the murder attempts shows that he's the someone else as oppose to the person who has been growing closer to her and whom she flat out confessed to not too long ago, so you can't say that she hasn't considered it. Kishi saying the confession was honest makes it more confusing that's why I say it can only be interpreted one of two ways

1. People are misinterpreting it like everyone apparently did with the confession

2. Sakura loves both Naruto and Sasuke, but at this point in time still wishes Sasuke was back by her side (atleast until she's reminded that he's not a great guy and falls out of love with him)

No its got nothing to do with the pairing wars, but if NH and SS are more popular then they will translate the scans to be more pro NH and SS. They want to make money and NS just wont do that lol. If the scans were pro NS, then both SS and NH wouldnt buy them.

Sasuke jealous??? Lol once again the SS fandom don't know Sasuke at all. Didn't Kishi said that Sasuke cares about no one but himself?

This translation is totally wrong, but the fact that a professional translation choose to be so biased on a translation makes me wonder if we're not the one who are interpreting Kakashi's words in a wrong way. Though, why would Kakashi talk about love in past tense? This is really disturbing, but still as I said myself, they already translated Kushina's words by "don't go for the first girl that come in your way"

And here they have omitted the "loved" word and transformed the first part of the speech by adding "on a totally different level". Isn't it weird that a professional translation is showing a so biased interpretation instead of doing a neutral translation? Do you think it's possible that we are the ones who wrongly interpret this passage? It really confuse me.  I was so sure of this passage. To me Sakura doesn't love Sasuke romantically, but this "on a totally different level" clearly hint at SS theory. And saying otherwise to me is not wanting to accept the truth. Is VIZ really that biased or are they somewhat reliable for professional translators?

Let's forget translations for a second and focus on how the japanese readers are taking the chapter. Say, 2ch's Naruto thread for example, which is usually more focused on power levels and the likes. What kind of comment have they been making regarding that line? Does anyone know?

Okay, but I will have a hard time to read all the "SS CANON VIZ says so" and all. That's why I hope SS wil be dead in next chapters. But still I maybe complaining about the biaseness of you're (america's) translators, but I'm happy with the biaseness of the french ones, very pro-NS and pro-SK.
