I won't be surprised if Kishi starts to ship Sasu/Hina. I do know he's going to be trolling NH and SS. But I agree with some about playboy Sasuke and Sexy Hinata with an" in your face" attitude, they will go well with each other.

Hopefully we'll get some sexy moments with those two together while Naruto and Sakura watch and then we'll get fanservice of our own

I don't see why it'd be a bad thing for Sakura to get a power-up regardless of her status as a "healer" or "medic-nin". Hell, Tsunade has some nifty tricks up her sleeve and she's a healer. Why can't Sakura follow in her master's footsteps? xDDD

Although I don't want a power-up that comes out of nowhere like...Sasuke no Jutsu power-ups LOL. Unless it has a flashback showing how she learned her power-up or something (BRIEF OF COURSE), then that'd be awesome. I just want more Sakura badassery

The ideal thing would as far as powerups goes would be to give a glimpse of the full range of Sakura's genjutsu ability. And I agree, I'd much rather see that than shipping stuff. Kishimoto has shown hints of her genjutsu type ability, as a powerful defensive ability, that looks to be tied to that second inner self. I think the reason we saw Inner Sakura a lot in part 1, but only once in part 2 is that when the ability hadn't been trained it took the form of a second inner personality, but the more she trained the ability and the more it was being used in way it was intended- as a defense against genjutsu and other mental invasion, the less seperate a personality it had. Note how the last time we saw it in part 2, it was pretty much in synch with her conscious self.

i liked her inner self but now she got less funny..

one year but naruto will end less than that because the war arc is reaching it's end and there only one more arc...

Yeah, there's to many chapters from now until then.

That makes me wonder, "Road to Ninja" and "Road to Sakura" will probably air before the lover-nin episode, so would it be weird if the previous two implied NS only to be followed by the episode of Sakura thinking about Sasuke?

On the other hand having the "Road to" stories imply NS could mean that the people here who talked about Sakura thinking of Sasuke as something negative would've been right then.

I'm so happy that the movie is being promoted through an episode focusing on Sakura That girl is the heroine, and she deserves a hell of a lot more attention! No matter what the angle is, its Sakura centric and thus it should be good. I really cannot wait to see it!

I'm also reasonably sure that this confirms beyond a shadow of a doubt that Sakura's role in the upcoming movie will be significant.

Question - do you guys think this will be the last movie since the series is winding down? If so, they may put more effort into this than others.

Or it could have nothing to do with pairings and expand on Sakuras abilities and development as a character outside of who she loves. I want Sakura to show she loves Naruto as much as anyone else but I would love it even more if she was shown to have some kind of new ability or some good needed character development.

I doubt it. We may get at least one or two more movies after the series' end. It probably follow the route Dragon Ball and DBZ did with their movies.

I'm sure their will be some further development on her confused feelings for Naruto. Its not clear how she truly feels for him yet! NS development is inevitable in this manga.

His pants are green, that's..... odd. Not saying it looks bad, it's just completely unexpected. I guess I'm too used to seeing him wear his blueish outfits. I guess that means normal Sasuke hates the color green, maybe.

Yeah I agree that a Sakura centric episode doesn't necessarily have to be about romance. I would actually prefer it to be about Sakura's development as a character and the fleshing out of her background and family. Perhaps it could show some of her training with Tsunade during the time skip and despite how grueling it is, she still persists because of her devotion towards Naruto and Sasuke.

Since a strong case can be made that Sakura's parents are merely civilians, perhaps it could show her arguing with them over undertaking such arduous training. Then in the end it could show them realizing just how strong her conviction is and upon doing so, praising what a strong young woman she has become.

Also, if were going in this direction, show us some more of her training as a medical ninja and not just healing fish, but real people. Show her biggest failures and her biggest succeses. Show her at her weakest and at her strongest. Show her during the times when he didn't know if she could truly pull this off and then show us her reminding herself that this is her dream (to reunite team 7) and that she will see it through no matter what.

Yeah, I read too much fanfiction I know , but the prospect of having an entire episode where the focus is entirely on Sakura is just too much for my Sakuratardism to handle.

Chances are that none of that I have just described is going to happen., so perhaps I'm just setting myself up for disappointment here, but it was fun while it lasted.

Perhaps in this short movie Kishi can finally show how Sakura found out of Naruto being the Kyuubi jinchurikki. In the rescue Gaara arc she told Naruto she found out looking at the medical records but I would love to see that and her reaction upon finding out. Also a conversation with Tsunade regarding whether its true or not of Naruto carrying the fox and if she will hate him or not (this will be a big development for her character even if it's a flashback). Also her training with Tsunade which others have already brought it up and maybe she constantly thinking about Naruto and reading the letters he sent her about his training with Jiraiya (I think he told her that he sent her letters I should probably re-read the manga to clear that out). This will show that no matter how far they are, they are still close friends giving a big boost to NS.

Another thing I would love to see in the movie (although I think Kishi will show it in a flashback in the manga). A conversation between Sakura and Tsunade regarding her confession to Naruto and her plan to join Sasuke in order to kill him, this right here is a big turning point for her character development. But like I said Kishi might leave that to the manga.

I'm kind of expecting that Tsunade won't be the first person she'll go to to confirm Naruto's status. I get the feeling she'll actually go to Shikamaru, the resident genius first because if even the resident genius has figured it out already and came to the same conclusion, then that just confirms her suspicions.
