Ah a thought!
Imagine Bolt turning evil because Naruto is such a sh*tty parent.
He's burning down Konoha and as Naruto stares at him with tears running down his face, Hinata lying dead at his feet and Himawari so mentally broken she's just sitting next to him catatonic. Naruto only asks 'why?' (because he obviously lost his empathetic ability.)
Bolt turns toward him, blood is splattered on his clothes and skin and he smiles the biggest, kitten-eating grin ever and says,
"Will you clean Hokage Mountain with me now dad?"
This will happen if Naruto doesn't clean up his act. The cycle of hate children growing up to cause genocide will continue as Bolt becomes increasingly bitter that the 'hero' who preaches love and peace can not love his own family and spend time with them in peace.
Would be awfully dramatic no? Too bad it works only as a backstory.
I kinda want this

I was able to escape the depression that these chapters put me through by writing an alternative ending fan fiction. These two chapters no longer exist to me. I feel cleansed and better than I have in weeks.

Lately I've been rereading O Parts Hunt (666 Satan) from Kishi's twin writer, Seishi who I think is a much better author/story teller than Masashi now due to the ending. Anyway my point is I came across these moments ,and OMG I got that vibe
Incase anyone is skeptical about checking out the manga, I recommend it. When it comes to the ending all I can say it's a lot better than the ending that Naruto got.

No worries on this end! XD Rurouni Kenshin is another shonen manga that did romance the right way in the end. :) And as for the ending, I am using it as fuel with my sadness, my frustration, and my disappointment at it to make me want to work on my fanfic, Naruto: The Demon Within, so it can be a much better story!
