LOL wasn't there a gif were Naruto is running after an embarrased hinata? I can imagine the scene like;

Naruto: Wait Hinata! We need to develop our relationship!! Come on work with me here dammit!!!!!!!

The fangirls are in the chairs. Then didn't "saw him and ran to him". But probably Hinata saw them all and decided to go.

Even then, Sakura is emotionless, so...

It looks like she is going to get something to eat. She has a knife in her hand. I'm assuming they are at a buffet or something like that.

 

My best guess is Naruto runs into Sakura their they talk for a minute, then his date comes and puts his arm around him,  jealous that Sakura showed up. Meanwhile Hinata is watching everything in a dark corner, because you know she doesn't have the guts to talk to Naruto directly. This event though makes her hence why she goes to him later.... cause you know she couldn't have done that in the two years time that has passed even after she was willing to die for him.

Characters need growth in a film. If Hinata had grown as a character within the 2 year timeskip, I'd be worried. But she still hasn't yet. The fact is, her ending up with Naruto at the end, isn't going to be seen as growth. Tbh, it's her obsession with Naruto that is holding her back. The thing that will show her growth as a character is if at the end of the film, she finally moves on. The dynamic between NH hasn't changed. I don't think that can all change in a 110 min movie. No way.

They are just trying to guilt trip the fandom into being on Hinata's side. "Oh wouldn't it be horrible if meanie Naruto didn't return Hinata's pure love! The girl didn't even go on one date the past few years, well Naruto has been hitting the dating circut! He doesn't know how amazing she is!"

and that is the important factor that makes me even more confident. i think this film will teach her that there are other important things in her life that she should pay more attention to, like hanabi for example.

To me it's not real love. It's Plan B. I'm sick of seeing movie's executed with such a generic plotline for romance.
