But that only proves that she deeply cares for Naruto. So it's like Kishi is saying, "You see how much emotion she displayed for Sasuke? That's because she loves him, but what if she does it again, only with someone else?" It must be his game.
That's what I've always been thinking. The SS hug in the Forest of Death is a unintentional parallel to the NS example at the Tenchi Bridge. It even has the mental images of the person she was used to in a fit of anxiety. For example, SS version= Sasuke smirking. NS version= Naruto smiling and grinning as well. It really does remind you of what Sakura hasn't done for Sasuke that she hasn't done for Naruto. Well, except for physically protecting him and risking her life, but Sakura probably would do that too in a heartbeat. That's not really much of an issue.
Though to be fair, maybe SS has the upper hand. With Naruto, Sakura was motivated by the promise and seeing him pushing himself too hard. With Sasuke, it was just her feelings for him and nothing more that drove her to do what she did.
It's also important to note that Naruto's whole body had changed while Sasuke was still himself physically. This may be a positive or negative. Negative in the sense that even Naruto's entire transformation did not spur her to lose all control immediately, while with Sasuke it did. But positive in the sense that Sasuke still looked like himself (unlike Naruto) and was doing evil things. (Usually, it could warrant a more extreme reaction because it's their actual face your seeing doing all of this). But also, Naruto wasn't doing anything bad. He was just sitting there.
So confusing ... I can't decide which scene is more meaningful emotionally to Sakura. SS one or NS?
