I'll say that Hollywood must change the looks of certain heroes before it looks laughable and/or cosplay look. That's why Marvel designs for the most part looks like something you can end up seeing in real life without saying, "Boy, do you look fake." I think it's highly telling with first Captain America movie and the recent ones.
Yeah, can you imagine if Chris Hemsworth had to wear Thor's helmet that he has in the comics? It may not matter much in the comics, but it'd look pretty silly in a live-action movie, so it's ditched, but the rest of the costume remains epicly intact. Same with Captain America if he had those actually little wings out of the head part (just look at the old 80s Captain America movie). They even joke about such things in the first X-Men movie when they don their uniforms;
*Wolverine* You guys actually go outside in this?
*Cyclops* Well, what did you expect? Yellow spandex?
I liked all 3 Spider Man movies...the second is my favorite xD
I'm pretty sure the (only) reason why Spider-Man 3 gets so much more hate is simply because of how Venom was done, but if you ignore the Venom/symbiote parts, one can't really say Spider-Man 3 is that much worse than the other two movies, IMO.
