I don't agree, Sasuke just wanted to change the system and he wanted to kill the Kages as they are responsible for the current state of things, he wouldn't try to kill people cold heartedly, Ex-He didn't kill Sakura (While Obito had no trouble unleashing the Nine Tails on the Village and killing his Sensei's family)

 

Sasuke trained as much as Naruto did. Agreed, really didn't like what Kishi did with him in the end but I only think he got some ideals from Nagato not Obito/Madara, and Kaguya was just stale trash. 

Bolded- Sakura reserves all the blame because Sasuke continuously rejected her and she still came back to him, besides he's just blunt its not like he seeks her to be an ass.....

 

I found someone with quite the same opinion of Sasuke as me  

 

 

I just don't agree with

 

"He didn't kill Sakura " -- Well he tried to, but KS arc Sasuke is the worst Sasuke

"Sasuke trained as much as Naruto did." --With Orochimaru yes, but the powers that came form his sharingan are quite a bit "asspulish", I also didn't like how he and Naruto received asspull powers from the Sage

Probably one of the most honest review for "The Last" by two dedicated fans of the series 

 

I like how his brother couldn't...really find something to contradict him.

Anyway, I totally disagree with the fact that the manga gave NH enough development, they interacted 6 times maybe in the whole manga, it still can't be enough. In real life, you won't marry with someone you...almost never talked to ! 

Except that, I agree with them...especially about HOW Naruto became Hokage,because that was what the story was originally about, or how he fell in love with her thanks to a genjutsu instead of having a conversation (if they had one, that would probably prove that they actually matured..but that wasn't the case there....)

I think people here are over exaggerated about women being housewives to be a bane if NS was to become canon. Just watch the RTN movie, Kushina was both a housewife and a kickass kunoichi at the same time. That's why I don't see this any problem with Sakura being pair up with Naruto. Only Sasuke.  Her issue is that her regression back into her fangirl self ruined her character development and we get all this garbage. And all she thinks about is how much she want's Sasuke's D:

 

The only thing I blame Yahagi is that it was he who suggested that Kishi do more on Sasuke's character in part 2 to draw in the fans, which was a success. However, too much Sasuke tainted Kishi mindset and over time, and he grew too fond of Sasuke than his hero and heroine and come up with BS because of him being pure and and saint. 

 

Yeah, Part 2 main problem is that it was too much Naruto/Sasuke focused

Good side characters lost the chance to shine in it like they did in part 1

This last chapter gave me a feeling that it was as if they annihilated all kind and forms of "evil" from their world, when it's something impossible. I really don't get it. 

 

Anyway, the last chapter should have been about Naruto becoming a hokage, and everybody fulfilling their dreams, and each one of them should have been the head of its own clan. About Sakura being a successful medicnin and Sasuke...being back to Konoha, helping Naruto to bring that peace they were all craving for. Not about how they all had kids, not that I'm against it, but ...seriously... 

 

I agree with you, focusing most of Shippuden on Sasuke was a huge mistake, it was as if he became the main character: the one who got the girl, who was forgiven for everything he did, the one who had a best friend always there to help him.

That's why I think Naruto and Sakura were the Adam and Eve of the Narutoverse. NS canon would have had a happy ending and other Kunoichi portrayed as Kushina being more than just housewives. Now we saw the exact opposite with the last two chapters and TL.

And since when did Hinata became female lead? She forfeit it ages ago.

Sasuke never wanted "the girl", if he and Naruto both tried to get Sakrua and Naruto failed than it would make sense but Sakura was the one who wanted Sasuke.  Naruto had multiple friends who would help him, pretty much the entire alliance loves him, and Gaara committed horrible murders but became the Kazekage........

Yeah, unfortunately this is true

Tenten wanted to become a legendary ninja like Tsunade was, I thought she would when she got those ninja tools relics during the war however it looks like she just became a simple shopkeeper

There's no point of debate anymore. There's no real theory or anything consistency. Each arcs have their own world, so in other words, whatever happens happens. No real follow-up. But again, I'm only here for you guys only. I can only wish this site isn't Naruto related. Sorry.

It's not about with whom she was paired up, but about what she was doing in her last appearance in the manga. Even if it wasNS, I would have be mad if they showed Sakura as a housewife in the last chapter, because she did a lot of efforts to be Naruto and Sasuke's equal.

Yes, Sasuke never wanted Sakura, he never wanted anyone, even though I ship SK (who would have made more sense imo)I have to admi tthat it was a big mistake to pair Sasuke with someone. It's completely OOC, because he never showed any romantic interest towards any female in the manga. He was jsut supposed to come back to Konoha and help Naruto with his Hokage duties. 

 

The difference with Gaara, is that even he, as a side character, had to take the time to show to his people that he was not the 'evil' guy he used to be, he proved them that, but we didn't even saw Sasuke being accepted by the others, even the rookie 9, when he 'came back' to Konoha. 

anyway, Imo,  part two was tooo much Sasuke this , Sasuke that..that it became pretty annoying, instead of focusing more on Naruto's dream to be recognized by the others!
