No no no no no no, they wouldn't. They wouldn't actually be THIS corny, would they?
They made nh and ss "canon"
What else could we expect?
Right now even hinata going popstar route wouldn't surprise me. Or Sasuke goin rockstar route.. this manga ending taught me that anything can happen.
These are people who weaved a romance spark from thin air and flushed ns down a toilet and wants us to believe that its all in or mind and we are too stupid to comprehend this story.
Well sarcasm aside. That Naruto with a mic is probably not part of the movie. Just promotional picture. His VA may have a song that would be part of the movie soundtrack or something.

Sorry, but that is an extremely bad example. "If Kishimoto says Naruto loves Hinata." Well, for 698 chapters Kishimoto said Naruto loves Sakura and Sakura feelings were changing. You also have Sasuke say he had no reason to love Sakura at all. In almost everything else save for the final two chapters and the movie, everything remained pretty constant...this is what some people are not getting. These last two chapters went against EVERYTHING the rest of the manga set up and you expect us to just "accept and move on?" What next should all writers just get away with this kind of story writing? Just at the final stretch just say "kitten it" and write whatever suits their fancy even when it breaks their own rules?
If you truly believe this is acceptable...then why do we even have criticism at all? There is a reason why people look at this stuff and judge it for quality because you can mess up the story. If we excuse this behavior in writing every time a new media shows up, then what's the point of calling something good or bad? Might as well never fail me for getting answers wrong on the test because "I wanted to answer it that way so you can't fail me." It is ridiculous and people know this.
To accept this means to accept every mediocre or badly written story and calling it Shakespeare. Even Stephen King would frown at this kind of writing and he basically promotes good writing ethics. I'm sorry, but I am so sick of people telling me to "accept this" or to say "well it is the way the author wanted it." Well, I am the buyer...the consumer...your demographic and if I don't approve of it, then you don't gain money from me.
Yeah, authors can do what they like, but there is a right and wrong way of doing it....this was the wrong way.
There is also no excuse why many elements of the story were either dropped or ignored completely simply to suit a story aspect. THAT is bad writing and really shows the writer's quality. If you can't make a story flow right and make sense, then maybe Kishimoto needs to give up being a writer.
Sigh. No, Kishimoto didn't say Sakura's love was changing. I know that's how we took it, but Viz's translation was more correct. It wasn't a crush anymore, it was 'selfless love'. That's why Kakashi says she wasn't confessing to make him hers, she wanted to save him. Also, again, Sasuke specifically said he was making people hate him to push them away. Him saying he didn't care about Sakura was an act. The second he turns good, what does he do? Apologizes to her. What happens the second Sasuke turns good and comes back? Sakura jumps on him and asks to go with him, even though that would mean leaving Naruto behind. She never loved Naruto. And Sasuke was always going to turn around and end up with Sakura. It's a manga about people being redeemed with words, and he was a main character. He wasn't going to up and die/disappear. Karin was also so unimportant to his story that she also vanishes along with Taka.
I'm sorry, but yes, a lot of the people in our fandom read way too much into Naruto. It was never complex, it was never a story about romance with ninjas on the side, it was never intricately plotted as such either. This is in his own words, he didn't put much romance in at all. He couldn't have been more blunt about this. And the proof is right there-SS/NH are canon. Kishimoto chose the most canon movie to be about Naruto falling in love with Hinata. Narusaku was a happy accident, but it's never going to end up canon;. That ship sailed a long, long time ago. From the moment they started working on that movie, NS was dead canon wise.
...You do realize Romeo and Juliet was a play mocking young love, right? And to compare a mangaka to Shakespeare...Did you guys think Naruto was high literature? They're ninjas who throw fire balls and magic lightning at each other. I get being disappointed, but I'm starting to think you thought Naruto was something it never was...I mean jeeze, that "romantic" scene on the bench ends with Naruto having the runs....You can't fathom why a 'good writer' would go against the 'literary rules' and not write Narusaku. There is your answer. Under your terms, Kishimoto isn't a good writer. He recently said he was like Naruto, because no one thought he'd ever be a mangaka. He didn't start writing Naruto until he took a college course in script writing. That's his background.
“It is unbelievable that I am working as one of the manga creators who have to write stories and depict many characters, because I was poor at the Japanese subject in school,” he said. “I could not answer questions requiring students to guess the feelings of characters in stories in school exams.”
Success didn’t come easy for Kishimoto-sensei. Before achieving greatness with Naruto, he had to overcome many challenges. He spent years studying how to write scenarios and dialogue in films to learn about story structure and directorial techniques. He also studied oil painting at an art college. Only after all of that hard work was Kishimoto-sensei able to begin on Naruto and achieve the greatness we have come to know him for today.

*long rant of nothingness
So what happens if he kills Sakura and Kakashi back in the Land of Iron... Does that mean he just couldn't come to terms with his love for them like he could Naruto?

I did think the fandom read too much into some stuff (such as the bench scene, which I never thought to be meaningful in any way). Regardless, there were plenty of straightforward scenes that hinted directly at NS. There's no need to pretend those didn't exist just because the outcome was something else.

They really should just called this movie the Hinata movie and be over with it.
If I somehow had access to this movie, I would record this crap and then release it online for everyone to watch, free of charge so no one needs spend a penny on this movie.
I really don't give two kittens about SP and the money they'll lose.

I know this is going to hurt, but in this interview: http://www.saiyanisl...ounding-editor/
Kishi said he was never planning on making a love triangle. He only made it because his editor told him it'd be a good idea. Considering the fact that Sakura ends up with Sasuke, (And the character Sasuke gets his name from has a love interest named Sakura...) I...don't think Naruto was ever going to be in 'love'/crush with Sakura until he was told to make a love triangle. :/ I'm pretty sure that's why they're calling it weak feelings. Now that the manga is over, there's no need for the love triangle anymore. (Well, kind of hard when Sakura marries Sasuke and Naruto marries Hinata lol..)

Do you mean the sasuke sarutobi love interest is sakura?
If that was the case, then he should just kill naruto feeling off.
Kishi clearly rip off the dynamic of team seven from slam dunk.

Maybe it's the angle, bad image, etc... But she looks a little depressed there
