Well I'm in my second year in learning japanese and I'm still not very fluent. The most difficult thing in this language is the amont of kanji the rest like grammar is quite easy, the only thing that sucks in grammar is that different structures can mean the same thing.
@NaruSaku4Life3g: Didn't you know it? Naruto hates Sakura because she ied to him at the Iron land, that's why he had to rethink to answer they were still friends. 

You don't say? Sure didn't feel like when he was all happy to see her in the war and every other moments from before the war. Oh well, my mistake.

I think the most difficult things in Japanese are the katakanas/kanjis. They're all so similar. : (

 

I had a few lessons because the principal on my high school is fluent and has lived in Japan, but I keep forgetting it. The oral lessons are easy though.

Funny, I have no problem with katakana, it's the equivalant of hiragana, there are the same number. The only thing that is difficult with katakana is when you don't know what a word means and you can't find its english equivalent (since katakanas are used mostly for foreign's words and mainly english words). 

But are you saying katakana and kanji are similar? Because they are not at all in my opinion, katakana are more in squared shape, invented by japaneses, while kanji are the chineses letter.

What does Minato has to ask Sakura if she's a friend of Naruto as a girl? I don't get it. Also, why the hell Naruto would think long enough to answer? They know they're friends, but beyond that should be question mark. I just don't get it...

I always saw that line as a start of a couple argument, not something that will destroy everything between them. I mean there's no like shattering images of Sakura in his head, just don't get this Sakura and back then Sakura. It wasn't like how he see team 7 being broken because of how many of them has changed.

To be fair, I think this will be the case no matter which side wins. On having a pairing become canon, the losers  will want to make themselves feel better about the situation, and that includes either downplaying the given moments or making excuses about why the other side won't work out. While many fans will also give up peacefully (at least outwardly) there will be a few who are unwilling to accept reality for a time.

I didn't say I couldn't see the difference between katakana and kanji, I said when I see either one of them I always mix them. Many kanji are similar to other kanjis. ...Get it?

I'm in the same ship. I really can't see NaruHina for many reasons, though in this case, the family seems really hard to imagine. It just does.

 

We're all biased here, of course we'd think that NaruHina would seem unnatural.  For me there's a simple reason, Naruto's never shown romantic or sexual inclination to Hinata, there's been no change based on N---->H the way there has been based on S--->N.  I mean, Naruto found Haku attractive, but never showed romantic or sexual interest in Hinata.

 

 

I wasn't talking about the appearance of the picture, I was talking in general. Whenever I see a NH fanart, it seems forced and doesn't seems "natural" when you compare to what actually happens in the manga. When I said the picture looked "unnatural", I was talking about the atmosphere of the picture, the fact that Hinata looks out of place, not Hinata's look, Hinata herself. You know it's like this NH retouched picture from chapter 450 where they replaced Sakura with Hinata hugging Naruto, it looks so OOC, while with Sakura it was normal and natural to see it.

 

It always surprises me that a lot of NH fanworks I've come across (though NH has always sickened me, so I haven't looked at or read many fanworks, and it's been years since I have) give Hinata a personality more like Sakura's.  Like...why?  Why give Hinata and NH Sakura and NS' personality?  I'm all for enjoying whatever pairing one enjoys, I'll never blame and NH fan for enjoying NH, but if one's going to enjoy NS but with Hinata inserted as Sakura's personality clone, why not enjoy the real thing?

 

Having said that, if NS happens and SS and NH fans come up with fanfictions that include how bad Naruto and Sakura's relationships is, there's nothing wrong with that.  Let everyone have their fun, this really shouldn't be taken too seriously.  I know I'll make up a bunch of different things regardless of what happens in the manga (pairing-wise or otherwise).  The world is just too interesting not to come up with various ideas.

I just saw a facebook post about Sakura kicking ass in a filler. I agreed with a comment that said fillers shouldn't be used to prove her badassery, until he said "what else is she thinking about besides holding Sasuke's hand?"

Fans can argue and rant how they want over the previous events this year but with stuff like ns still being the major hinted one, it's really already hard for nh to take the important role, I mean 631 presented a big issue for nh:

615 just occurred, 631 comes with naruto saying sakura is his girlfriend and the sakura-Kushina event happens.

It's just like the pain events, hinata had her moment, then sakura hugging naruto occurred and all the stuff that comes forward, still leaves nh unaddressed for the longest time. I mean it's still a serious factor I'm suprised not many nh fans consider:

If ns was really over by 469, then Kishi had the perfect open setup to build nh but instead these happened:

Naruto goes into storage leaving nh unanswered as ns was after the land of iron.
When naruto does come back, he only gives a minor thought to the events from pain when he meets hinata, yet what justifies this as complete advancement? He still hasn't gone to her about her own confession
615 occurs in late 2012, nh fans flip thinking they won rather the hand holding fades to the back unimportant to naruto, instead he is focused on Neji and we get hinata thinking about naruto and neji in 633, but on the naruto side, aka nothing new, we know hinata loves naruto but seriously. Nothing had advanced since then, 615 was a nh moment but it just faded quickly, I mean there will be some closure with it later but not to justify it as the sole reason for nh to go canon when there has been much more emphasis on ns even after 615.

Not to mention yeah 631 put a huge obstacle for nh along with 635 for SS. If SS isn't going to occur after 635 showed sakura not trusting Sasuke, what is the deal for nh then? Sakura is turning from Sasuke it seems and naruto still loves sakura, not to mention when a foreshadowing element is thrown in and finally given a focus or form of extension (sakura being like Kushina) then what's the deal here?

Even the anime had a filler and small part of the chikara arc in which naruto is still loving sakura, I mean one thing the anime team needs to follow is make sure no fillers conflict with canon material, the only instance this did happen with was the utakata in the anime meeting naruto early and yet they had a filler to patch this up as needed. Yet it had to come as suspicious to nh fans especially after Kushina was introduced. There was time for naruto to stop and meet up with others improve their relation, yet it didn't happen, it took another 45 chapters till 615 occurred and that wasn't a big deal, even as a year end chapter, the ordeal of the cliffhanger was Neji's death and discovering the ability for him to send kuramas power into others. This year, it's naruto losing kurama.

Even then when 631 came around, people made the excuse it was the real naruto who held hinatas hand, and some tried to make justification about naruto not reacting to Sakura's hug, yeah I'm pretty sure naruto reacted in shock because he never expected sakura to do that.

Really, in all truth ns has a big setup, so with the events this year and potential setup at the start of next with 661, just what is nh have any means to in order to justify itself? Hinata hasn't been going much anywhere and we don't know what to expect from her, that's my main problem with her, Kishi just seems to plop her down and we don't know what importance she has from her to there, she is only hinged on naruto for now and if she really is just for pairing in the end, she really would be a weakly developed character. Hinata needs something other than just naruto this and that, twice after even 631 this is all we have seen from her, we get it, she likes naruto. This is why even with 661 incoming, if a sakura crying over naruto remembering chiyos words, having focus on her and naruto occurs, if people complain then just what would they expect? It's a moment appropriate for both considering the situation long rendered a possibility of harm upon the hero with the heroine knowing about it.

If nh fans are expecting a nh moment, it's wishful thinking because as I said before, did they even ask themselves why? Does it make sense? How exactly would hinata be appropriate as the center of importance crying over naruto next chapter? It wouldn't make sense.

Sakura makes the most sense in terms of what she learned long ago, feared, and does simply by being a medic and part of team 7.

Along with sakura, gaara makes a lot of sense too, he is right there, has the info from kurama.

Minato and tsunade also make sense, minato being narutos father and having the yin half of kurama, while tsunade simply can try to heal if sakura isn't enough, even then sakura, gaara, and minato make the most sense. I won't be suprised if hinata has a minor part but not as the main one.

Guys I just scrolled down the narusaku tag and on an anti post it was written that they talked about the 631 moment at the Jump Festa. Apparently Kishimoto enjoyed drawing that moment a lot. Go check it out, I don't have enough time to link the script!

Then Takeuchi said: "I liked the detail of Naruto's girlfriend" and Chie replied to him, "are you talking about me?". Both started laughing, Kishimoto did the same and then said it was a moment that he enjoyed drawing.

I was going to post it but I didn't find it anywhere else... And also it said Chie replied to him, and Takeuchi is a girl lol. Maybe that's just a translation error or something. Hopefully this can be verified.

So from what I've gathered, Kishi is explaining that he will do his best to tie all of the loose ends in the manga before the conclusion.  It's very telling that he admitted to consulting his editor for planning on how to resolve the fight with Madara. These men seem to carry quite a bit of weight behind the planning desk for the manga. It cost us a fight that would have seen Tsunade going up against Pain and possibly much more. We can only guess how much of Kishi's original plans were altered due to editor interference.

He doesn't enjoy drawing his manga usually? His job must be in a sad state of affairs if there's only specific moments/concepts that really capture his interest or make him enthusiastic. It could be a possible consequence of fatigue with having been drawing the same series for 14 years.
