This^ I have a feeling the bench scene will be brought again since it's very essential to the foundation of NS. Also I think Sakura will have the flashback of the bench scene either when Kishi returns to the battlefield or when Naruto encounters Sasuke for the third time.

strange that on those interviews no one asked about Naruto's feelings towards Hinata or hinata itself it's only about sakura like the love triangle is Naruto Sakura and Sasuke.

Hmm but according to nostradamus he got the correct translation, and it said that sakura loved sasuke and naeutos close according to her speech, which was sasuke breaking her heart and her confessing her love to naruto.So using your common sense it would be that sakura loved sasuke.But just to make sure if thats the true translation I'll try contacting ramenanmetsu and askin him\her to get the correct translation.

And yeah thats nice, the fact that no one really cares or bothers about naruto and hinatas relationship, because it really has no significance in the manga, cuz kishi never really said anything and plus kishi is most likely done with hinatas character, its been resolved, after all shes a side character, so with that said she wont be given any attention from her on out, she's eventually gonna fade in the background just like shino and kiba.

We should also take into account that this interviews arent very accurate. Lets say sakura was already in love with naruto at this point, do you believe kishi would just say in the interview that sakura loves naruto now and is over sasuke? He would never do that since it would take away all the excitement, it would confirm NS to be canon and this would be much too early in the story.

So i think even if sakura already loves naruto, i dont think kishi would just openly confirm it.

Well as we already discussed, i believe she is already in love but hasnt fully realized it by now, but that doesnt change the fact that kishi would never confirm any pairing through an interview, so i think this interviews are not a great evidence to confirm characters feelings.

What Kishi said, or tried to say according to the translation was that the love triangle is still on.

Iam aware of that, but iam talking about his interviews in general.

Imagine you are kishi and a fan asks you who sakura loves and you know that sakura is slowly getting over her feelings for sasuke. Would you now say sakura is over sasuke and with that already confirm NS to be canon, or would you say she still loves sasuke but naruto is close?

I would choose the second one since pairings are stalled and only confirmed in the end.

It's not for weather pairings are confirmed in the end or near it, it's rather how the author or writer of any story really would never just blab out their ideas all at once. Regardless if Kishi is making sakura stay on Sasuke or go to naruto, he would keep us in the dark and on suspense. He would never reveal this stuff purposely because we as readers know sakura loves Sasuke but there were issues in her crush on hi, we know naruto loves sakura, Sasuke basically hates the, both, and sakura does have feelings of close friendship with naruto. The exact way things turn out for sakura regarding both of them is obviously to remain hidden until the story reaches a certain point. Sakura again loves Sasuke but also this late in the story has close feelings and concern for naruto. What will happen to this? Kishi t knows but wont explain until we see what goes on.

Authors do not reveal stuff like this otherwise no need to read the rest of the book, it's like if JFK Rowling spoiled her own Harry potter series, no one would read it or see how voldemort was defeated.

That's to say though, hopefully Kishi takes sakura development in the right path to have a good sensible ending with naruto and Sasuke. We are hoping for the narusaku part of this, but we just need to wait and see.

That was when Sasuke first woke up after orochimaru bit him and gave him the curse mark. He was going on a rampage and nearly killed the sound ninja, sakura hugged him to get him under control and the power subsided. But you know how much more emotion she showed after seeing 4 tailed naruto.

Are you sure it says "close to her heart"? Thats sounds like a bit too much forshadowing for me. Cant imagine that kishi would give hints of that size.

Also the "She says " part sounds a little strange. It sounds like sakura isnt in love with sasuke anymore, she jut says it

Come on now. :/ You're constantly putting yourself down. Have a little confidence.

Most of this stuff happened in part 1. I think we can all agree SS would have had a huge chance of becoming canon if Sasuke didn't start going insane, turn into a huge jerk, and opened up more to Naruto and Sakura and stayed in the village. Back then, there were no murder attempts or ignoring their existences, or cutting his ties with Naruto and Sakura.

I didn't care about pairings in part one, but even though Sasuke and Sakura had moments like these, they were always quickly reverted. Not too soon after that moment, Sasuke threatened Sakura if she told anyone about his issues. Great friend making there Sasuke. That made me realize, even if SS happened, the relationship was just too... I don't know. It wasn't even. Sakura never seemed to find fault in Sasuke and even when they were 'friends', Sasuke treated her like trash.

SS and NH has had 'moments', be them one sided or not, but that's all they are. Moments are fleeting. I like NS because of its long term development, not their 'moments'. Their 'moments' feel so natural and big because of the development they have had. Their 'moments' aren't building the relationship, they're expanding and setting the already existing relationship in stone. I'm not sure I would even care about their 'moments' if they didn't have the development. It would be no better than NH moments or SS 'moments'.

Don't think solely about the moments, you really need to take a step back and look at it as a whole.

I am hundred percent sure!
That she says could be referring to what Sakura thinks she feels, however, we know how confused she is and that she hasn't yet felt true love.
But yes, Kishi said Naruto is close to her heart.

Really? Not that I'm complaining or anything, but how many translations of that interview are there now?

I thought the translation was "Naruto is close and she cares for him as well but still... Sasuke", with the empty part before Sasuke implying love.

Chatte did your friend do a literal translation or what she thought the translation implied. I only ask because sometimes japanese can't be accurately translated into english so translating something literally can give a different meaning. It could very well be that my translation is the literal one but the correct meaning is what your friend told you. I don't really know for sure.

Japanese has an own way of saying someone is close to someone romantically. I think there is a word for it, that's why the translation won't be 100% correct, but "close to her heart" seems legit.

Well Kishimoto can't say that Sakura loves Naruto at that moment.
It's like hearing him say that Obito is the leader of Akatsuki in 2010. Of course he used Madara's name, because the readers weren't supposed to know his identity yet.

And what he said about Sakura's feelings for Sasuke and Naruto isn't different what he said in Databook 3.
He said the same thing and pointed at the same time that she doesn't know the nature of her feelings for him.
That's why Kishi doesn't say "she loves Naruto" or "she doesn't love him". Nope, he only said "he's close", means that it can be everything. He wants to keep ambiguity, it's obvious.

And I agree with Dαrkrєrsŧ, I found it funny that he never said a word about NaruHina xD.
