I would tell them to go screw themselves but I rather they enjoy their crap and we enjoy our NS fanfics and fan arts that actually had more effort and time. Sometimes fanon is better than canon.

SS have nothing to be proud of, considering sasuke still prefers to leave his family than be with them. While Sakura has nothing outside of doing housework, because she must obsess over her husband and be a perfect little wife.

All Gaiden did was spit all over their OOC headcanons and show that SS is nothing but sludge. They can have canon because it does nothing but mock their ship and prove that fanon is far superior. NS ain't dead, it's just been elevated to a greater place that the author is to incompetent to do it justice any longer.

I am not calling anyone out by name. Im calling the behavior in general out.

While Kishimoto himself may have earned our ire, and his writing and blatant mishandling of the story and character is well and truly cringe worthy, it in no way excuses us from launching ridiculous ad hominem attacks on the mans personal life, and marriage are simply out of line.

 

I've heard enough of that bullcrap from NH/SS fans throwing death threats his way when Sakura confessed, and when Minato said Sakura was like Kushina. Then we go and childishly pull the same routine? how does this elevate the dialogue and argue the point of what were discussing?

 

Say the Last was terrible, I'm there with you. Say the manga was horribly handled and ended on a ridiculous note, im right there with you.

 

Say the mans a pedophile that sacrafices goats to cthullu and beats his wife behind closed doors, while bathing in the blood of virgins and other riduclous tripe and im going to call you out on it.

 

I don't want to see this fandom and this place in particular where I've grown fond of a great many people here go off the rails like that.

 

I agree with you on almost everything, we certainly shouldn't go and make silly supposition (tough I understand the frustration that makes people blurt out some of these things) and as you said, this fandom is better than that. We are better than that even if at this point I'm more of a SakuraxFreedomxHappiness OT3 shipper than anything else. 

 

However what we can say based on all this sorry debacle, ending plus interviews, is that Kishimoto is an indecisive man, ready to bend  to the ones who scream the most (and I'm not talking about the fandom, I'm talking about those who work with him) someone who doesn't know how to take his responsibilities and who hides behind pathetic excuses such as 'I'm not good at handling female characters' and 'I don't know how to write romance'; a man that rather than standing by his works and previous decisions changes things (badly) because someone else told him it was the thing to do. A man that hides behind his own characters and criticizes them rather than facing the critiques himself. All in all we can certainly say that he's quite a coward and that his work ethic sucks.

As for his personal life we can say that he's married has a child (more than one?) and I'm absolutely uninterested in him as I wouldn't want to neither meet him nor to be associated to him in any way.

...wow that sure is a tremendous amount of energy to waste on a ship one claims to dislike so much. 

Wouldn't it have been better to, I don't know, draw some happy family scene or something? Or is it an edit? That would be even worse.....taking someone else's handwork and disrespect it.

 

One could suggest to this person, if he/she is so happy with the pairing outcome (as if it was the most important thing of the whole manga...), not re-reading the series, that would be cruel as SS was treated like crap (and again, SSers should be the ones pissed out the most, but whatevs), but to go swimming in the magnificent and marvelous net, find a fan fiction, because there are some good ones, and read it, so that other fandoms wouldn't think that this person was a maniacal attention-seeking idiot and he/she would be happy reading something not ruined of their OTP. 

 

And everybody would live happily ever after.

But the fact that SS fan think that THIS is what [happy] family looks like, they are happy with this and supporting kishi. They see things different than us. The most shocking thing is more than 50% of SS fan base is a female.
