I may be one of the few people who is not bothered by Sakura's confession. I got what she was intending from the get go. It was obvious to me from before that, that she had feelings for him, and although it was clumsy I never once thought she was lying in what she said. 

She was torn between two people, and she was dishonest about being "over" Sasuke but she didn't lie about what she said to Naruto. Now of course that's put into question given the ending, but since I've decided to ignore that to begin with I'll just take Kishi's prior words as her being an "honest girl" at that moment as all the proof that I need if I ever doubt the integrity of it. 

In the same manner that I ignore George Lucas' constant retconning, omissions and additions, I'll be ignoring Trollmoto's. The man Can't remember what he himself wrote for kitten, everything he says that is not inline with what he actually wrote is going to be thrown out the window from now on. 

This whole "I was going to go with Narusaku, but..."  kitten makes me giggle now that I've had time to take it in over night. Just think for a moment, Sakura was NOT lying when she said she had feelings for Naruto, and he called her liar and then failed to confess--So as far as we know the whole reason they didn't get together in the end was because Naruto really did just give up and Sakura had to settle for Sasuke  

Its like a kittening soap opera.  

This kitten needs a fic. 

I still don't know about her confession...
I dont get what kishi was trying to pass. He first says she was honest... Then says it would be fickle for her to change feelings...

But anyway, there's a great doujin about this chapter, really heartwarming

I suggest you ignore anything he says now that the series is over and he's trying to save face--He himself admitted that NS was going to happen, therefore any NS moment we had was canon. Her confession WAS canon. Just like Han actually shooting first in Star wars DID happen until Lucas got chicken foot and tried retconning it. 

He said prior that she was honest, therefore she must have been honest. 

Yamato hints that her feelings for Naruto are not platonic, therefore we should be able to infer from that, and all the other moments they had prior and after that moment that her feelings were legit. That's my personal opinion, but it makes sense to the story. 

Him thinking she would be "Fickle" came after and we all know that its BS.

The only person capable of dealing with him is.....Kushina. She'd knock some sense into that thick skull of his! She'd perfectly explain stuff about women, to him! It already become history. We can't change that.
NS only need naruto confession in order for it to happen. But sadly we are not popular. Nh & ss is more popular than us. And popularity will lead to more money. That's how it work in that industry.

Popularity shouldn't kittening matter. It's supposed to be about the story and what makes sense/has the better moral message for the characters.
That's why I'm p*ssed off at Kishi. He was supposed to be our shield against the Sakura/NS haters and detractors and he betrayed us.

Kishi is no oda. He is just bad writer who luck enough that his manga resemble harry potter and capitalize on it. Dude doesn't know how to write kitten thus easily get stir.

THIS.  After the build-up from Sai's confrontation, the last thing fans expected was that confession.

 

In fact, go back to Sakura's confession, and have her get over it instead of keeping those feelings unnaturally, and her character arc would have been infinitely better.

I fear you'll jinx Oda if people keep mentioning or implying how One Piece is better.  Really, after that ending, the milestone isn't difficult to cross.

Everything Sakura has ever done towards Naruto is put in there for laughs, but everything Sasuke did was no laughing matter. We arent hypocrites we just understand the difference between comedic relief and being a douche bag.

Exactly it's like comparing a Three Stooges movies with Shindler's List because they both have violence in them. The violence is their to tell a different type of story, and put you in a different mood. If Kishimoto truly doesn't get that, then he's a bigger failure as a story teller then I thought.
