About the NaruSaku script at JF, have you found any other info on it? A lot of tweets simply gush over SasuSaku for some reason. Perhaps Chie and Sugiyama just did a good job reenacting their scene together LOL.

 

 

 

Let's clarify a bit here about the JF

-On the Naruto's stage were present, as guests, Kishimoto Masashi and the author of "Rock Lee's Springtime of Youth" Kenji Taira. And Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi's voice actors, of course.

-They asked to voice actors to draw a war scene that have impressed them the most. For some twist of fate, Sugiyama and Nakamura (respectively, the Sasuke and Sakura's VA) drew the scene of Sasuke where he said "I want to become Hokage". Therefore, Naruto and Kakashi VAs teased them (Kakashi's VA: "Isn't Sasuke and Sakura getting awell together?" Naruto's VA "Sure!") in front of the audience and they blushed a little. I would venture to say that've flirted despite Miss Nakamura is married LOL.
 

Yeah, I saw this posted on narutoforums. apparently the trans word for word goes as:

 

次に中村千絵さんのイラスト。やはりこれもサスケの「火影になる」宣言の所でした。途端に井上 さんから「サ スケとサクラ一緒じゃないの、さすがに仲が良いねぇ〜」との茶化しが入ります。「そうだそうだ 」と竹内さん 。慌てて否定する杉山さんと中村さんに再び笑いに包まれる場内。

Next was the turn of Nakamura Chie's drawing. As expected, it also depicted Sasuke's 'I'll become Hokage' declaration. As soon as she was done, Inoue-san started poking fun at her, saying 'Aren't Sasuke and Sakura together? As I thought, they're getting along, aren't they?'. Takeuchi-san replied with 'Indeed, indeed'. Sugiyama-san and Nakamura-san became flustered and denied it, and the audience was wrapped up in laughter again.

This also counts to Naruto as well. If I remember a while back, there was a research and there are many women reading Naruto. I don't know the percent, but I heard it was really high.

I think you misunderstood. I was saying maybe Kishi will explain in more depth the reason why Sasuke wants to become Hokage since his talk with the 4 Hokage. Even if we alreaady know it, it's possible that he expains it more. To me, Kishi's sentence had nothing to do with Sasuke's will to kill Naruto, but more with his will to become Hokage regarding the context in which he said that. 

But it would be more interesting to explain Sasuke's motives to kill Naruto, though I have an idea.... Jealousy and envy over his power?

sasuke might want to become hokage because of those reasons to. However he might want to become hokage for the sake of his clan ,selfish reasons or to prevent another genocide of a particular group due to messed up political reasons.

Being honest NaruSasu and KakIru is more popular than NaruSaku and Sasusaku just look at look at the amount of doujins.

Authors of MxM pairings (yaoi) are mostly female, and their work is directed to other females. Doujinshi do NOT have the same audience target as the canon manga. On top of that, these authors most used mediums are doujinshi and the internet. So it's not surprising that you will see a ton of more yaoi related work online and in doujinshi. It's not to say that yaoi isn't a big thing. But your statement comes from misconception.

 

Isn't that just because of the fujoshi crowd though? I highly doubt that teenage males are the ones going crazy over these yaoi pairings. I think when it comes to romance it's probably easier to be discussed among women and it is among men. So while it's true that they seem more popular, in reality the main demographic of Naruto  should favor the more traditional pairings like NaruSaku.

Then how do people measure the popularity of a pairing?

ns is simply more popular than SS because it consumes more products and has more officials products to sell and obviously those are based on polls.

The difference is that Yaoi pairings are crack and the fact it brings a lot of controversy, Naruto and Sasuke kiss at chater 3 bought up a lot of controversy on western countries and the scene where Konohamaru does a Sexy no Jutsu(yaoi version) on Sakura got censored on the anime(it was simply cut off and the scene was modified).

And as he said, this story is all about Sasuke, with a little bit of Naruto cause he's the hero but that's it. Everyone else is like inexistent.

I never knew about shipping when I watched Avatar....so I missed the crazy war XD I always assumed kataang was gonna happen. (and it did)

 

but if I watched this trailer....I would have second guessed myself XD dang bryke...why'd they do that to those poor fans???

The Sasuke part sounds like you got the wrong translation. To be honest, not many here take it serious about everything being said. Heck, even at NF. The guy was there told us the wrong reports by mistake the first time. The second time is much more clear. It is said that the defeat part is rather taken as a joke but hard to say for us. You're taking it too hard. I'm not trying to change your mind, but like the whole "Hinata is a better heroine," don't get the wrong idea.

I don't think so. He replied that he thought that lil akamaru would have filled it perfectly as mascot but he noticed that he isn't lile anymore but just a big dog xD. Then he said that Gamakichi would be also a mascot but he made growing too LOL

 

I must to say... What kinda useless questions they made at JF? Who on the earth cares about Naruto's mascot. For god's sake, you have Kishimoto in front of you and you just ask him about naruto's mascot? What a waste of time.

its not bryke's fault  zutara  fans just felt that it was gonna be endgame however they had little character development in the pairing aspect so kataang was obviously gonna be the winner in that pairing war
