WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Packers are Super Bowl Champs! th_goodjob.gif party.gif emoticon_monocle.gif manhug.gif w00t.gif w00t.gif w00t.gif

That being said... they do not have a second half offense. Honestly there was no one person who could be MVP so by default it went to the QB. Rodgers did a good job but I think the defense played a more important role in this game than Aaron Rodgers especially in the second half. Defense is awesome! I got a little worried when we only got three there at the end, because the Steelers are known for winning those games with a last effort.

Poor Donald Driver and Woodson, my heart to them for finally making it as a Packer but not being able to play the length of the game.

... that half-time show... awful. Axl Rose angry. tongue.gif They should've did Daft Punk instead.

What you really need to do, is step it up and cheer not only for the NFC North, but the entire NFL. You'll love it

Well I was going for the Steelers in this one so it was a real heart breaker for me. Oh well, time to wait for the draft.

Why? Vick had a pretty good year. The Eagles aren't the team that I usually root for, but even I was impressed with Vick's actions this year.

JUDGE OVERTURNS LOCKOUT

Also for Eagles fans, it looks like Vick is going to be on the cover of Madden '12 if his competition is Peyton Hillis. (Will be Vick's 2nd time)

Hopefully the NFL isn't granted a stay and the off season finally begins. Would like kolb traded before the draft.

I hear Hillis was beating Vick. Dont know how anybody would know that, but hey maybe the PETA peeps are involved.

Draft is this thursday.

Well I know a lot of people like Peyton Hillis also. I think it would be neat if he won, don't know when a Cleveland Brown will ever have the chance again. Maybe Cribbs, but eh.

Course it would be neat if he won, it was neat when Marshall Faulk won.

It's just a very crazy set of circumstances that happens to the winner which has been dubbed the curse.

Eddie George 2001- Fumbled to Ray Lewis in the AFC Divisional Playoffs never averaged more than 3.3 yards afterwards
Dante Culpepper 2002- 23 Interceptions, 5-11 Record, blew out his knees in 05-06
Marshall Faulk 2003- Gone in 05
Michael Vick 2004- Broke his leg in Preseason, Atlanta goes 5-11
Ray Lewis 2005- First season without interception, broken wrist in week 15
McNabb 2006- I'm sure you know about the hernia and ACL
Shaun Alexander 2007- Foot Injury
Vince Young 2008- Vince Young
Brett Favre 2009- Brett Favre
Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polomalu 2009- Fitzgerald made it until he got hurt before the Pro Bowl, Polomalu injured
Drew Brees 2010- Career High Interceptions, but Career high touchdowns and yardage

In sense the Madden Curse is just a bunch of bunk or its not, who knows. I sound like a believer, but then again LT fans are real believers after they got him off the cover.

Fitzgerald and Brees probably escaped if there is a curse, however it would probably be better for Peyton Hillis since it means the Browns have someone.

But to quote Shaun Alexander: “Do you want to be hurt and on the cover, or just hurt?"

Update:Hillis Wins

Also the Raiders changed the name of the Collesseum to the Overstock Collesseum. mellow.gif The Raiders had the Lowest Attendance in Football last year.

Cam Newton, huh?

I wanted either him or A.J. Green. They should start Clausen and let Newton develop like Tampa did with Freeman.

Really, Peterson? They must not like Gabbert very much, but they are the only team with a QB situation as bad as ours.

Apparently no trading players makes for a really wacky draft.
