Well I know a lot of people like Peyton Hillis also. I think it would be neat if he won, don't know when a Cleveland Brown will ever have the chance again. Maybe Cribbs, but eh.
Course it would be neat if he won, it was neat when Marshall Faulk won.
It's just a very crazy set of circumstances that happens to the winner which has been dubbed the curse.
Eddie George 2001- Fumbled to Ray Lewis in the AFC Divisional Playoffs never averaged more than 3.3 yards afterwards
Dante Culpepper 2002- 23 Interceptions, 5-11 Record, blew out his knees in 05-06
Marshall Faulk 2003- Gone in 05
Michael Vick 2004- Broke his leg in Preseason, Atlanta goes 5-11
Ray Lewis 2005- First season without interception, broken wrist in week 15
McNabb 2006- I'm sure you know about the hernia and ACL
Shaun Alexander 2007- Foot Injury
Vince Young 2008- Vince Young
Brett Favre 2009- Brett Favre
Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polomalu 2009- Fitzgerald made it until he got hurt before the Pro Bowl, Polomalu injured
Drew Brees 2010- Career High Interceptions, but Career high touchdowns and yardage
In sense the Madden Curse is just a bunch of bunk or its not, who knows. I sound like a believer, but then again LT fans are real believers after they got him off the cover.
Fitzgerald and Brees probably escaped if there is a curse, however it would probably be better for Peyton Hillis since it means the Browns have someone.
But to quote Shaun Alexander: “Do you want to be hurt and on the cover, or just hurt?"
Update:Hillis Wins
Also the Raiders changed the name of the Collesseum to the Overstock Collesseum.

The Raiders had the Lowest Attendance in Football last year.
