I actually liked the fact its relying on the actual espionage type of things without blowing kitten up, which never made much sense to me in the movies. Since I doubt spy's would get that far in the game if they kept blowing kitten up and would get caught. I knew a lot about the background of the case, as I am more into the spy games because it's cool to me. This story tells the story of the lawyer who represents General Able a Russian spy that we traded for two Americans during the height of the cold war. Also known as the Powers-Able incident. He was able too get our U2 pilot and an civilian economic student out from east Berlin at the height of the Cold War.Bridge of Spies
I saw it without knowing a thing about it. Well that's partially a lie, I knew that Spielberg directed it. That's all I knew about the movie; I haven't even seen a trailer for it.
If you're tired of movies that espionage means blowing up stuff for no reason, and you would rather watch a movie about that subject from a different perspective. Then this is the movie for you. The movie relies on its dialog instead of blowing stuff up. The dialog is well written and it's well executed.
Thumbs up.

On a scale of 1-10 rate the last movie you watched

beautiful creatures 4/10
nice visuals, poor story writing. which is quite strange when it's shown to be adapted from a novel..
typical of a chick flick. stereotypical scenes and predictable ending. i was hoping they wouldn't retcon the story in the end but they did anyway... a bittersweet ending would have been better..

Spotlight: 9/10
I was a bit miffed that Spotlight won best picture over Mad Max and Brooklyn, but I figured I should watch it before I got too worked up. I am so glad I saw this film. Extremely well acted. The script was on point. Just an exceptional film in all ways.

Crimson peak: 8/10
Its was a beautiful film, my only gripe was with the lack of Alan/Edith...he was an awesome guy. Alan in general really needed more screen time, but most importantly i wanted to know what happened after they were rescued.
The small fandom for the film only cares about Thomas Sharpe...because Tom hiddleston.
The movie actually reminds me of NS and SS...awk.
Short story short; would recommend seeing.
Pls shame me for procrastinating.

i didn't realize i was watching a ghost movie when i turn the tv on so i thought their house was broken in by a regular thief.. and well it was surprisingly ok for a horror story, a decent story, decent scares, nothing too over the top for my taste, maybe i missed the scariest ones. the astral projection story is quite fascinating too :)

I'm tempted to give 50 Shades of Grey already a bad score even though I've only skimmed through it. Maybe on a weekend when I feel really depressed, I'll watch it fully to have something to chuckle at.

Batman V Superman - the greatest gladiator match in the history of the world. God vs man.
What to say about this movie without spoiling anything. Honestly I don't really know and I don't mean just about not spoiling the movie but also my opinion on it. Is it a bad movie? No. Is it a good movie? Not really.
I don't really know if this is because I pretty much knew almost everything about the movie because the ones that were in charge with promoting the movie just advertised the entire movie in all of their trailers and interviews and tv spots, or it really isn't a good movie.
I need time to think about it.
First of all this movie is in a way a Batman movie that also includes Superman and the rest. It starts with Batman, it continues with Batman for a good while and it ends with Batman in a prison. Now I'm not complaining because I am a Batman fan but maybe they should've toned it down a bit. Secondly it felt disjointed, it felt like multiple movies all into one package.
This of course is the result of DC/WB trying to compete/catch-up with Marvel. Sorry DC but you already lost that fight a long time ago.
If any of you want, I could go a bit deeper into it and talk about things that will spoil the movie. I don't know maybe some of you don't mind. But for now that is all. I know it's short by my standards. For the moment it's not a thumbs up or a thumbs down. I don't know what it is.

10 Cloverfield Lane: 7/10
I very much enjoyed this movie. Winstead and Goodman were excellent. Without giving anything away, I would have given this a 9 had it ended about ten minutes sooner.
Spotlight: 10/10
Well acted. Engaging story. Excellent job of avoiding overwrought "movie" scenes. Deserving of its Academy Award.
The Big Short: 5/10
I was not a fan of this film at all. I enjoy movies with people I can root for, and this was a film filled with terrible people. It was quite overrated.

Captain America Civil War
Well I just saw it and..... I liked it. Is it better than Age Of Ultron? Yes it is. Is it better than Batman v Superman? Is that even a serious question? Of course it is.
However it didn't really live up to my expectations. Something that if I think about it, I don't think anything ever will.
To be honest I wanted more Spider-Man.
Thumbs up. Definitely go see it.
Also a table for Mr. Stank.
If you want me to talk more about it, give details, spoilers. Tell me.

I say Winter Soldier is better. But Civil War is not far behind.
One thing I didn't like about Civil War was the forced romance, once again Marvel can't do it right. Steve it seems like he's going to be with Sharon I think was her name (the blond girl from Winter Soldier who was his bodyguard) and the movie also reveals that she's Peggy's niece. From what I understood they followed the comic with this one but that doesn't mean it's done right.

X-men: Apocalypse
I didn't expect to like this movie but I really like it. It's better than I suspected.
I watch a show called "The Flash" I'm sure most of you heard about it. Now the intro to that show is Barry saying he's the fastest man alive. Well not anymore. There's a new speedster. And this guy is awesome. He's sweet dreams.
There's not much to talk about the movie because it's predicable if you watched the trailers.
I never go into spoilers unless you want me to so if you want, just say it.
Thumbs up.

It's a bit weird to me that Sharon is Peggy's niece... Peggy must have had sibling that is twenty yrs younger or something like that.

Yeah I thought it was weird too, Peggy got to be like 95. Maybe Sharon is the smallest child. But I think the dad is Peggy's brother, Harrison, don't know how old is tho. It's a bit weird to me that Sharon is Peggy's niece... Peggy must have had sibling that is twenty yrs younger or something like that.
Btw today, june 3rd is the official day Peggy dies. *cries*

IMO it's one of the better ones, but not great
