Heh I'm a fan of both XD I watch them all missed only one or two as for improvements there is gonna be allot whether they will be good don't know , but now that that kittenhead Fry is  gone and James Allison on his place things will be good I hope . 

 

Anyway we've gone pretty much of topic so sorry  everyone XD .

 

Still lowering my expectations pretty low  bc Kishi never fails to disappoint me when there is a potential NS moment he always finds a way to kitten on it  so here is to staying neutral ots for the best .

Oh God I'm soo exited for today's chapter but actually I don't know what to expect. In here, chapters usually come out at 10 or 11 AM. I don't wanna wait that much! I don't think I can sleep today...*goes to sleep  *

If you're talking about the quality of the story than I too gave up on it the moment Madara appeared so... yeah XD

But I still believe he will finish the romance department, even though the quality has dropped as well

I'm at work early morning so the chapter might not even come out when I get up and get to work heh! . Also Kishi has a nasty habbit of cockbloking NS when its right in the horyzont    and you can just feel it and then just skips it   

So I'm staying neutral   but hey if positive works for you and brings luck  then don't waver XD

I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried/anxious about how things will play out in the next 2 chapters. It's entirely possible Kishimoto would just end up pairing Sakura off with Sasuke and Hinata off with Naruto, which would ruin the entire series for me as he built up a relationship only to throw it all away at the finish line, but after piecing together all the developments and interactions, something inside of me just can't see that being the case.

 

All 3 pairings are riddled with missed opportunities imo, but SasuSaku and NaruHina suffer from missed opportunities more than NaruSaku does, as that had consistent positive development throughout part 2. It rubs me the wrong way that Kishimoto would go with those two pairings when he built up the NaruSaku dynamic throughout the manga. At worst SasuSaku deteriorated while NaruHina never really progressed to the point of hinted mutual attraction. NaruSaku on the other hand saw the biggest change in character dynamics, with Sakura hating Naruto to eventually caring for him deeply.

 

I guess the real worry is if he really intended for NaruSaku to be endgame, and if so would it be written decently, because 693, regardless of what he intended to do with that chapter, really damaged to perception of both SasuSaku and NaruSaku.

Yeah I know the story is everything after all XD but I can relate with your disappointment I really do I basically just want this pairings wars to end, because somehow I got too invested in this pairing. And the funny thing is that I can't really recall why did I become so invested in the first place XD

As far as the expectation question goes....

 

All I can say is that I'll definitely be surprised if Kishimoto does not make things at least somewhat obvious in the manga.  Whether it's this chapter or next, who knows.

 

I don't know how he will do it, but I just don't see the manga ending without a clear signal of where Naruto's heart and intentions lie.  Naturally I believe his focus will still be on Sakura, and I believe we'll see her finally in a position to look at a new and better love in a new way.  I don't expect a big love scene or anything, but something that shows them on the path toward love -- together this time.  

 

The manga is its own entity, and is the source material for everything else.  I can't see any logic in not completing it with confirmation of where the characters lives and relationships are headed.  You know that Kishimoto, et al., know that not everyone watches the anime or the movies, so why would any significant actions or resolutions be revealed elsewhere?  (Yeah, money, but true fans will see The Last anyway.)

 

Honestly, I may be outnumbered but I've taken Hinata's apparent role in The Last as a very good sign.  It seems to me that it's going to be a sort of... payback for her.  She and her fans won't win the ship war, but they'll get a movie where she figures prominently and get to see her become strong, perhaps eclipse her sister in her father's eyes, and finally step into the role of clan leader with confidence.

 

That would be a great win for Hinata and Hinata fans, without sacrificing everything Kishimoto has worked for in terms of his romance subplot.  It's really the only way I've been able to arrange the pieces in my mind so that they make sense.

 

Time will tell, and there's not much left.

Even to this day I still can't believe that the NS fanbase wants what's best for Hinata. It's just mind boggling the difference between the NS fanbase and NH fanbase.
