I'm still going with my theory that Rin found out she was in love with Obito in the last minute when it was already too late. Obito dies and meets Rin on the other side changing to his 12 year old self. Rin confesses she loves him and we might get flashbacks from her POV, showing how she handled Obito's supposed death.

i'd like that. Though its sort of hard for Kishi to find a spot where Rin figured out her feelings for him, since seconds after Obvito died she tried to confess to Kakashi.

I know Rin confessed to Kakashi, but what if as the days gone by she realised Kakashi wasn't the one she truly loves? Realising she loves someone who died saving her life. That's when the flashbacks showing her coping with Obito's death and the revelation of her love for him.

Possible but didn't Obito say the whole reason Rin was killed by Kakashi was because she wanted to die at the hands of the one she loves? (which is kind of kittened up now that I think about it)

Actually, I want to make sure how this works. Did Madara control her to go in place in front of Kakashi? Or she did it on her own? If former, well there you go. If latter, she was a time bomb and other guys wouldn't kill her because this is their plan. Only person to do it is Kakashi, since Minato isn't there.

Well its not he has to, I mean Obito needed to know Rin's death was staged with Kakashi? It really doesn't help all that much and doesn't make much of a difference

I think your missing the point, with the murder attempts which led to her falling out of love with Sasuke it pretty much eliminated any chance to prove to us that her love for Naruto is beyond her love for the Sauce.

Also that is essentially what she said during the confession, Naruto is a hero who is better for her while Sasuke is a criminal so kitten em

She choose Naruto in the Kage summit arc. We saw just how strong her love for Naruto is. She would rather lose Naruto as a friend and take all the hate upon herself just so Naruto wouldn't be alone anymore. That he'll still have his friends. Not to mention she was willing to kill the "love" of her life just to keep Naruto safe.

 

Now I'm sorry but if that doesn't show us, that Sakura's love for Naruto is stronger than her love for Sasuke. Well nothing will.

She didn't. That was Obito. We know she wanted Kakashi to kill her because she's a time bomb but Kakashi refuse because he was keeping that promise. That was it. Remember, the plan was have her go back home and unleash the three tails in her, rampage. So massacre the village or kill her but break the promise.
