My theory is very simple.

 

Sakura loves Sasuke genuinely and he loves her back. At some point after the war, Sasuke is going to acknowledge Sakura romantically, which was her childhood dream.

 

In this moment, where Sakura knows that she can have what she wanted, she'll chose not to because she's no longer that child that only wanted Sasuke's acknowledgement. She will realize that she has grown up and she'll realize that she wants different things now. She'll realise that Sasuke is this unstable rollercoaster of emotions that is metaphorical of childhood and teenager chaotic years and that Naruto can give her the stable happiness of an adult relationship.

 

Sakura choses them on equal grounds. Sasuke is her childhood and her teenage years, but Naruto is her adulthood. No settling for second best and the cleanest way to resolve everything. It favours NS greatly. It's a very cliché romance plottwist too.

 

Imo , as long as  they both love her , she does not have to love both of them , her choice would be made on equal ground  because she would be able to chose either of them , but she will choose the one she loves . Of course , I also agree with others that Sasuke is unlikely to ever love Sakura hat way .

 

If she loves both , then her choice would be based , as you said , on who they are rather than on whom she loves . And that would not be on equal ground , that would be settling , regardless of the one  she chooses . In this situation , the only way to not settle would be to have both

 

Either way , this choice may come her way a lot sooner than we think , considering the coming battle and  if what Kakashi did during their bell test was meant to be foreshadowing anything ..

Unpopular opinion coming through:

 

She'll love someone that's even more important than Naruto or Sasuke. She'll decide to choose herself after realizing that there are more important things in the world than having a bf. Even though her feelings for Naruto & Sasuke was part of what made her into this strong kunoichi, she'll realize that other factors played a part too, like her determination, her respect for Tsunade and her insecurity to not feel like the third wheel in team7 in terms of keeping up.

I already thought that she chose Naruto over Sasuke a long time ago or did we just forget all the times she did that with her choosing his safety over Sasuke's even before the Iron land . that shows who she loves more .

Viz translation is the same as MP. Sakura's feelings for Sasuke have changed, she loves him but on a different level. Her crush has evolved into a very powerful mature love (notice the sarcasm lol). But serious both MP and Viz leads to SS been friendzoned because she loves him as a friend/teammate.

This translation is totally wrong, but the fact that a professional translation choose to be so biased on a translation makes me wonder if we're not the one who are interpreting Kakashi's words in a wrong way. Though, why would Kakashi talk about love in past tense? This is really disturbing, but still as I said myself, they already translated Kushina's words by "don't go for the first girl that come in your way"

And here they have omitted the "loved" word and transformed the first part of the speech by adding "on a totally different level". Isn't it weird that a professional translation is showing a so biased interpretation instead of doing a neutral translation? Do you think it's possible that we are the ones who wrongly interpret this passage? It really confuse me.  I was so sure of this passage. To me Sakura doesn't love Sasuke romantically, but this "on a totally different level" clearly hint at SS theory. And saying otherwise to me is not wanting to accept the truth. Is VIZ really that biased or are they somewhat reliable for professional translators?

If you ask me, this version is actually more ambiguous than all others. The thing is you can argue two ways in this version, more easily than others. If it wasn't the fact for the next panel, this wouldn't happen for viz. The thing is love is always something to be connected to "as a brother/sister" or "as a lover" until it is fully fleshed out. So yeah, for those who still feel like confused, how about wait and see.
