Apparently, there's going to be a filler episode in the anime to promote the movie, just like they did for the 3rd & 4th Shippuden movie. And.... it's going to be centered on Sakura, it seems.

It's tentatively called "Road to Sakura" as of the moment. Looks we were all right. The movie is definitely going to have lots of development on Sakura that's been seriously lacking in the manga. And so as not to put Naruto out of the picture, there's going to be NS developments for sure.

As for the filler episode itself, considering how it's being used to promote the movie. I'm willing to bet good money on Kishi being involved in that episode specifically, too.

I think for all those that has been begging for more Sakura development (even if it's outside manga continuity) from Kishi can now officially say HALLELUJAH!!!

Doubt it. This movie is written by Kishi. Since the filler is going to promote the movie, it has to have Kishi's input in it. And whether it has any connection or not to the movie, there's no doubt in my mind that Kishi is definitely involved in the episode.

No..but she does need to become clear with her emotions, in general and romance. I also think she needs a power-up.

I don't see why it'd be a bad thing for Sakura to get a power-up regardless of her status as a "healer" or "medic-nin". Hell, Tsunade has some nifty tricks up her sleeve and she's a healer. Why can't Sakura follow in her master's footsteps? xDDD

Although I don't want a power-up that comes out of nowhere like...Sasuke no Jutsu power-ups LOL. Unless it has a flashback showing how she learned her power-up or something (BRIEF OF COURSE), then that'd be awesome. I just want more Sakura badassery

For me, for her to have power that we don't know of yet is reasonable simply because of her legacy and longer life than any of the rookies or Sakura. But that's just my op.

I won't be surprised if Kishi starts to ship Sasu/Hina. I do know he's going to be trolling NH and SS. But I agree with some about playboy Sasuke and Sexy Hinata with an" in your face" attitude, they will go well with each other.
