Subjective..not my subjective. I was talking from a critical viewpoint. If I were to analyze it, I would rate it good. It has flaws like you said, but few compared to other aspects of the story.

Yes, on my opinion is the only thing worthwhile on the story after all the crap Kishi pulled into the story.

I like that too. Many people say the romance in Naruto sucks, but if you understand it you will see that it is very well written. It has a few flaws, but it is still one of Kishi's strengths and not weaknesses.

I think, and hope that I understand.. ;P

But that's just thing. This is Shounen that is focusing on battles, so to get this amount of developments is a blessing in disguise.

hum i wont say that its 100% correct. I think that by taking a bit time he tried to make things dramatic or u know interestng. But he took much time in resolution. Still we cant say that it sucks. Its still interesting to me. If he is gonna keep the resolution till the end i wouldnt mind. Cuz it should clear all the doubts about ss and nh.

not exactly 'bash', but you can see the difference in treatment.

Yeah that's to be taken in a comedic way, but even though, i feel they've only made hinata worst character wise. Just my opinion.

 

 

I wouldn't say Pierrot necessarily tries to bash Sakura, but there were many times where they over exaggerated her aggressiveness and overall tended to portray her as a more severe form of tsundere than the manga shows her to be, but then again they also made Naruto often more clueless and dim-witted than he actually is. I think it's more the tendency of anime to exaggerate character stereotypes than intentional bashing.

aw this is cute, imagine if this actually happens in the manga? wouldnt be surprised! 

Man i cant wait to see sakura again in the manga! 

 

I personally dont feel like the manga is gonna end in 2014

thanks for the replies. well that's what the other fan from the other forum said for why naruto romance suck.

while I can understand why kishi do it, because for me a romance story can't take that long. I mean if naruto is a romance manga, than it story would span for 20-ish volume.

and I agree with narusaku4life that this is a shonen battle manga.

The opposite fandom is bashing Sakura about her "Sasuke-kun", but this!!

Hinata is a better fangirl than Sakura, there is no doubt about it. 615 & 616 proves it (Naruto's hand is so warm, while Neji is on the ground)

Being shounen does not mean it necessarily focuses on battles. There are tons of classic shounen manga focused on romance with little to not action: Kimagure Orange Road, Touch, Video Girl Ai, Maison Ikkoku... And many series heavy on on both romance and action: Ranma 1/2, Tosho Daimos...

Naruto is a Shounen "nekketsu", so it s supposed to focus only on battles.

Yes, but from what I understand, the sentence I quoted was talking about shonen manga in general rather fighting manga. "All shonen manga always being about fights and battles" is a common mistake I see everywhere, so I felt a clarification was necessary.

Of course it's dragging on, but that's not a romance issue. It's just that everything in the story suffers from it, but "it's not the romance fault!"

That's the thing though, Naruto is on action. Think as One Piece direction, it's all around but romance. You can focus on anything, but at times, you wanted to focus on one big important piece. Naruto is focusing on bonds, so romance is there, but not the main highlight. Also, time has changed from those. Why you think we don't get another DBZ or HnK, etc. Maybe we do, but it won't be a weekly ongoing thing.

-On the Naruto's stage were present, as guests, Kishimoto Masashi and the author of "Rock Lee's Springtime of Youth" Kenji Taira. And Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi's voice actors, of course.

-They asked to voice actors to draw a war scene that have impressed them the most. For some twist of fate, Sugiyama and Nakamura (respectively, the Sasuke and Sakura's VA) drew the scene of Sasuke where he said "I want to become Hokage". Therefore, Naruto and Kakashi VAs teased them (Kakashi's VA: "Isn't Sasuke and Sakura getting awell together?" Naruto's VA "Sure!") in front of the audience and they blushed a little. I would venture to say that've flirted despite Miss Nakamura is married LOL.

-The VAs have then stage some war scenes. Sasuke and Sakura staged the scene of Sasuke's arrival on the battlefield, the one where there's

Shame that the secrets/hints are sealed since it's in near ending of the series, so we can't ask where's Yamato, the status of a character, etc. But oh well, more wait, more patience.

Too bad they are not mentioned, it gives the impression that there was a lot of SasuSaku which is sad. And now you can be sure you won't be able to said SS fans that the "Sakura huh?" comment was not a SasuSaku moment anymore. 

But overall, that JF seemed to be focused on Sasuke except for the Madara question.

That must be why he's dragging it on. Making chapters with zero to little plot progression..he's buying time.
