Wait wait, so lemme' get this straight, so your saying that sakura wasn't being honest about naruto being the one to make her safe, the one she loves, the idiot dummy that turned into a man before her eyes, the fact that sasuke is now a criminal and just keeps breaking her heart, that she doesn't wanna love someone like that, that naruto is causing himself danger because he's the junjuriki and she cares about him and wants him to be safe, your saying that all that was just a lie? That she wasn't being truthful? Well, if my memory serves right, everything I mentioned about sakura-chan's statements, have infact happened and are infact true.

But lemme' tell you what she might've been lying about, about her not caring about sasuke anymore, thats it.

And masashi kishimoto himself said in an interview and I quote, "I felt like depicting her with an honest girl with a surprisingly stubborn determination" <--- there ya go, he himself said sakura was honest, and if your still not buyin' it...well we're just gonna have to agree to dis-agree buddy

Oh and, in that interview where kishi says sakura loves sasuke, thats mistranslated, according to our fellow, nostradamus' s analysis, kishi didn't directly say that sakura loves sasuke, in fact on the contrary he said "considering sakuras speech sakura LOVED sasuke, aslovnarutos close..." this is the true translation, and it fits perfectly with the context of the manga, I mean for pete's sake sakuras speech in that arc was about sasuke being a criminal and him breaking her heart, and her confessing her love to naruto, so when you connect the dots with the Interview it fits perfectly, but with the other mistranslated version, it totaly leads to a loop of contradiction!

No i said she lied on the "i love you" part and the part that she said that Sasuke means nothing more for her the rest was true.

Dont get me wrong im not mad or anything, it just bugs me when people claim that sakura lied throughout her whole confession, and thus, the confession being called "fake confession" mmnnaah, thats just wrong considering what kishi himself said, that makes me as an individual happy to know that, and it makes me even happier when some people here have the same logic, im not gonna mention names, but you got the point.

I respect your opinion, but it looks like we're both taking different routes, ahh well interview or not, the manga and the accurate translations are all that matters, but if you think sakura wasn't being honest, your entitled to your own opinion, even though kishi himself said that she was being honest, im also entitled to my own opinion...bottom line we're both on the same boat.

I didnt said she wasnt being honest i just said that on some parts she was honest and on other's she lied.
I said that 100% honest is a wrong statement aswell saying that 100% a lie is also a wrong statement.
I said this based on official translations and also chapters like 540 and even the part where Sakura tried to kill Sasuke and could not because she still loved him.
Because if she was 100% honest she would think of Naruto on 540 and smiled.

Even Sakura's VA didnt understand she said that Sakura manipuled Naruto's feelings and made Kishimoto enter on (s)rage mode.

Lol pretty much, but whats funny is that, sai said that sakura wanted to kill sasuke because she "loves" him (ironic eh?) And which is totally wrong, and I'll tell you why but first, so people dont think im being biased, when sai comments on NS's relationship, he actually saw them in action, he basically has evidence to reinforce his words, so its right, even us, the readers know that, but its kishi's way of letting the actual characters know, lol heh, so back to sai saying that sakura wanting to kill sasuke out of her "love" for him (gosh makes me chuckle just writing it) if what he said was really true (which is not cuz he never saw sasuke and sakura interact) then why did sakura hesitate to kill him? thats cuz what sai said wsd complete rubbish lol.

I really hope that the Heaven and Earth books that will soon be released make reference of that confession.

I just want to be sure that even literary experts in Japan can feel as confused as we are regarding Sakura's actions at the Summit.

I always wondered about that, she looked completely genuine during that part. I don't believe Sakura knew him loved him there, I really don't. She's still confused and forced herself to do that because of the situation that she was in. But the anger she showed supports unconscious feelings and how she hates him telling her how she feels when he's not aware of the conflict she's been going through. That's what I believe.

Though if it's not that, then it's either Sakura assumed she loved Naruto too early and after he told her she didn't feel that way, she went back to her inner confusion. If that's really what happened, then wow. It's ironic to me that he loves Sakura and wants to be with her yet screws himself over and only makes things harder on himself. The Bench Scene and how he supports SS (painfully) comes to mind.

It felt like more of a hope of Team 7 able to smile together again, but 540 suggests that idea of love is something entirely different from Team 7. It's more of a personal thing. Honestly, it will feel like a huge accomplishment on Naruto's part because he's not trying to force love on Sakura with him, so when Sakura comes to him, he'll be shocked but incredibly happy. It's like a true ending unlocked, you just have to do something unexpected to get an unexpected turn.

The thing is that Naruto feels unworthy if Sasuke isn't dealt fully with. He wants Sasuke's issue to be over, so he can be at ease when he wants to show his love for Sakura. Plus, the same thing for Sakura in Naruto's perspective which that he doesn't want to let Sakura approaching him in an intimate manner if Sasuke's issue isn't over. Naruto wants everything that has been problems to him and to Sakura to be over before anything else.

True. I think that there's a way for Sakura to have him stopping feel unworthy which is to show him that he doesn't have to feel that way, by showing too her love for him in some way, either intentionally or unintentionally, which will make Naruto see the truth. But, it's somewhat a low possibility.

Do anyone consider Sasuke attack Karin is the same as Naruto(Kyuubi 4 tail) attack Sakura, we found out that Mangekyou can influence the user to become more darker. maybe when Sasuke and Karin meet again, Sasuke might have some regret what he done to her.
