I think he genuinely wants to be with her, more than just take her out on dates.

 

TLDR; I think Naruto has more faith in himself and Sakura than the fillers assume.

Of course, that was just my choice of words.

But a confession is more like a proposition, like Sakura's she said that and demanded an asnwer from Naruto, Sakura's confession for Sasuke was the same, but his answer was a "thank you" and left.

 

On Hinata's it wasnt a confession it was a declaration of love where she simply stated why she loved Naruto and that she loves him and didnt demanded or waited for an answer.

 

THe only way for it to work like you suggest is a declaration of love where he will do the same things as Hinata but instead of dying he will simply friendzone himself and say that he only wanted to take it off his chest and doesnt have any regrets.

He will never know how she feels about him.

A love confession is a declaration of love, it is a statement that is actually a secret. Whether it is a proposition or not depends on the intention behind it.

maybe you can tell them kishi drew a one shot based on road to ninja ( or was it road to sakura..? ).

 

and i really think infinite tsukuyomi will be activated in the canon story, too. anybody want to bet? xD

There was once a time I thought (hoped) the Tsukuyomi would be activated, but with how things have progressed I think that probably won't happen now. I'm definitely a bit disappointed about it though, because it was something I really wanted to see.

If this is true then Sakura's window of opportunity to play a significant role in events or participate in one final battle is decreased even further. Assuming that the same amount of chapters is published in 2014 as with 2013 (45) that offers little room to properly delve into other characters. The final confrontation between Naruto and Sasuke alone will probably span over 20 chapters minimum. Everything else (Madara/Black Zetsu's demise, resolving Orochimaru's story, and the epilogue) would need to be condensed into a length of content barely reaching half of next year's publications. It's just not enough to adequately fasten the story together and conclude everything. 

 

Is there any possibility of the manga continuing into 2015? 

 

Pretty much kishi has disappointed me too many times with sakura. Whats next kill her off in the war arc and make her look like pointless love interest/character? Im not holding my breath for the next years chapters of naruto kishi did promised that sakura will have a possible big event after kakashi. However, how can i trust that if kishi constantly brakes his promise when it comes to sakura.

 

I wasn't even surprised when he mentions about how overpowering madara is fun or something like that.

I just wanted to draw a line between the two scenarios, Naruto doesnt need to say i love you to express what she is to him.
Anyway i just stated that confessing his love for Sakura doesnt make sense with the mindset he showed thoughout the series.

WHich is why i said his love her is complex.

I wouldn't count on it. I wouldn't be surprised he'll be like, "Well what do you know? I got another year left. Whoops." I guess one thing that does beg the question: what's the next year movie going to be about? Everyone assumed the aftermath of the manga, but now, well, we'll see.

I saw that they made a towel with a new relationship chart where this time it features the teams connections. In the center we have team 7 connected then to all the old generation teams and so on. They used the 632 colored cover for team 7's picture.

Apparently, Kishi now said it MIGHT end next year. Well, looks like someone realized it. On the plus side, it could mean a break soon. Hopefully.

yeah instead of dragging out the fight Kishi could at least use the extra time to develop the characters that are not called Sasuke or Naruto.

yeah, he said that he's not sure the next year will be a naruto stage at jump festa. So the manga might end within the next year or not. He's uncertain about this.

Why am I not surprised? My bet is it will end in 2015. Barely in the middle of 2015 at least.

As suspected, from reading twitter this year they remade the revival of some scenes, just like the last year... There was a SS moment, a NS moment and even a KakaNaru moment. Seiyuus perfomanced them.
Bah... nothing special.

If you find out what the NS moment they performed was, would you kindly tell us? :)

Something about Naruto and Kakashi's seiyuus commenting on Sakura and Sasuke's relationship? Dunno.

Also, I doubt the manga will end within the next year. There's still a lot to resolve, and Kishi keeps saying how he's nearing the end and whatnot... But it never happens. I think it'll go into the middle of 2015 at least, like NS4Life3g said.

Yeah, I will... I've just seen a pair of tweets today which was mentioned that there was also a NS cuteness alongside with SS and KN... I guess that they made a NS perfomance too. It's that SS just caused an uproar because they're the most popular straight naruto couple in Japan, you know...

The funny thing is that in this festival there were some nice souvenirs to buy out. Among them there were also some full colored chapters for jump extra with android/iphone app. I found a tweet of one who has taked a picture of a color page from chapter 3, just the panel where Sasuke (coff, coff Naruto) was almost kissing Sakura. LOL and she was screaming for that :/

But i say... How is that possible?

Yeah, SS seems excited about this, which is weird cause it's nothing... Just like when Sasuke and Sakura saw each other during the war. Well, I guess when you ship SS you'll take what you can get.

Thanks so much for translating that! Yeah, sorry that there wasn't any context. I got it from a tumblr post, all they said was that Kishi was a guest at Jump Festa along with the Team 7 voice actors, and that there were some tweets about Sasuke and Sakura and the Jump panel. I'm guessing these are the tweets? Not sure...

LMAO. It always cracks me up when I see that panel used for something SS-related. Will you post the picture, if you can, please? ;o; I'd like to see it coloured.

If there's anything I learned from Avatar, it's you take anything you see. I mean anything. You can have a hug with no knowledge as to why, you'll choke up. You can have them work together, you'll choke up. You can have them giving them a hand to get up, you'll choke up. You can a character help a blind character to run because well self explanatory, you'll still choke up. They will take anything.
