Hey, just a thought, would you guys jump ship if NH was properly done/justified in the movie? Or if NS got closure? (Those who are watching it anyway.) 

 

I would love to hear your opinions.

 

No because there were 700 chapters to get the pairings sorted out, the movie is nothing more than a means of justifying the end, Anyone can do it, it's a cheap method to explain something that didn't make sense in the story. We've already see from the trailer history has already been altered to make Hinata part of Naruto's youth to try to make the pairing work. we'll then see Naruto remembering those moments realising he always loved her, all the time he thought she was wierd was just him being a dumb youth, I wouldn't be surprised if  him challenging Neji is shown as his subcontious reacting to seeing the girl he loves injured. It's a dumb trope used in Fanfiction all the time.

Some unconfirmed spoilers floating around on Tumblr in regards to the movie. Naruto and Hinata get stranded on a deserted island, Karin dies for sasusaku. I would call them ridiculous, but the manga now is already a joke at this point.

The series that lasted 15 years is over... We joined our efforts in the publication of that series for 12 years and it still feels like it was yesterdays. 8 years ago, I was told about the ending... Some little modifications/adjustments were made, but what was shown was the same beautiful plot/ending I was told back at that time..... Really good work Kishimoto-sensei for those 15 years!
 
And the tweet in which Kishimoto's assistant criticize NS fans:

Were they completely ignoring Sakura's feelings?
The one who still love/has feelings the most with all her heart despite having been betrayed is Sakura, I'm sure she'll be happy. Are those feelings so hard to understand? 

Ignored Sakura's feelings? Like that time Yamato mentioned it was what Sakura felt towards Naruto that was important? Or the time Sai said she was unexpectedly gentle towards him? What about the time her heart absolutely sunk when the love-letter nin made her realize Sasuke was everything but a good guy? Or how sad she was when Sasuke again and again called her useless, and justified leaving her to fall to her death in a sea of molten lava?

Yeah, we completely ignored her feelings.

You know, the NORMAL thing to do was to have her let go of those feelings and have her move on and find happiness in someone that would treat her much better and wouldn't ever think to betray her, like Naruto. Yeah, I mean why all the emphasis with Sakura's "confused" feelings for Naruto on the 4th Databook? why put something on the manga that fans will ignore? Why even put Sakura's obvious emotions in manga panels.

It must be their culture, I'm not sure but in shoujo mangas i've pretty much seen a bigger amount of heroines pursuing the guy.

 The worst is that apart from the Karin part, the Ino raped part, I'm sure that movie is so cheesy that it could happen. LOL at Naruto developping feelings for Hinata who teach him dance and cooking and him teaching her rasengan and dattebayo, at Naruto confessing near a Waterfall and him being heartbroken until a hooded man teach him about love. It's been so long I hadn't laugh so much. I'm almost hopping for it to be true. That movie would turn into a comedy movie for all Naruto fans exept NH/SS fans who would see it as the most beautiful Naruto movie ever.

This movie is going to be so horribly awkward it isn't going to even be funny after awhile. I can just imagine someone in a Japanese audience standing up in the middle of a NH/SS confession scene and screaming "NANI?! NADA-DESUKA?!" at the top of his lungs as the rest of the audience boo. I, personally, will be puking. Puking, puking, puking.

As you will know there will be a kidnapping with Toneri’s target, Hinata Hyuuga.
The reason for so on his obsession would be to create an offspring of the Hyuga Clan in an attempt to restore the Ōtsutsuki Clan.
In the movie we will witness how Naruto would leave his love for Sakura behind and start to develop for Hinata when she is kidnapped. There will be a certain portion of the movie where he will feel jealousy and the need to protect her as well.
At the end of the movie there will be a relapse of a year and a half, where we will see Naruto and Hinata’s wedding with the other couples that were seen in the last chapter of the manga.”
It continues on to say later …
“The second point of the movie is the “death of one’s love” and the resurrection of another.
(This is a symbolism in Japan, for those who are a tad confused with this statement)
One of Toneri’s jutsus is the ability to absorb chakra from other people, as so he absorbs the powers of 六道仙人(Rikudō Sennin) from both Naruto and Sasuke, defeating them both easily.
When Hinata comes to their rescue alone, Toneri becomes obsessed with Hinata, without mentioning that she is of the Hyuuga Clan.
Toneri would then explain his plan to restore the Ōtsutsuki Clan and the chakra which can only be used by them, who label themselves as the “Protectors of Chakra”(or "Guardians", whatever it is since it has several meaning).
It then goes on to say that Hinata rejects Toneri because of her unquestionable love for Naruto, which has led to Toneri developing an intense hatred for Naruto and resulting in him using a monstrous form. There will be some point throughout the movie will Hinata will apparently lose her memory.

Saw it on FB, don't know if it's true, but it does matches with the information we got so far and at this point who cares, right? I'm so NOT going to watch this movie!

We justify our kitten with the most cliche story ever. I'm sad. But like a great guy name Joker said : laugh a little, and LET IT GO . AND GOD I LET GO OF THIS MOVIE. HOPE IT FLOP but I doubt it will. I hope no one actually believes this movie will benefit NS in any way or that the finale was the infinite tsukuyomi. Apparently I can't disagree in the actual theory thread, so I'll say my piece here.
 

Don't get your hopes up again. The ending was the ending and any other source material will correlate with that. Just because NaruSaku's not canon doesn't mean we have to abandon everything that it stood for.  You can accept Kishi's choice while also still honoring your own perspective.  That's all I'll say on the matter.

Well the movie is about the romance that the manga could not explain so that's why. Sounds like garbage and I won't watch it. The movie though is likely to bomb because a lot of people in Japan did not like the epilogue, nor the ending. So those people won't go and see the movie.

I agree with this.  The movie is going to show how NH happened. Probably SS too. Kishimoto would not end his 15 year manga in a genjutsu and this manga is meant for 12-13 year olds.  I'm honestly just trying to be tolerate of these pairings at this point because I don't want the series ruined for me... being tolerate of SS is a lot harder than NH though.  Those murder attempts... >_> 

Really don't get your hopes up with this movie.  Ever since the NH CD cover came out that should have been a sign to keep expectations low.

the tweet says their editor said "abashing naruto" and they instantly knew he was talking about the movie. naruto (anime) team are experienced in doing battle scenes and unused to romantic scenes.

My expectations are so low I'm not even sure what I'm still doing here. I guess I still need to know how they will address NS to kill it (if they even feel the need to). But I am definitely not watching the movie and I HOPE to never see a picture of Naruto and Hinata kissing (or hugging or marrying or whatever) in my internet ever! I am just glad that I'm not integrated in Naruto's fandom in any way other than visiting this site. I hope there won't be any posts on 9GAG or any other neutral non-Naruto territory.
