I don't believe in Kishimoto anymore, but I am here, because I won't be able to live peacefully knowing there is still info out there about how far they went to destroy us, how much it took from them and how believable they managed to keep us dead. This info comes from the movie. And I won't be able to do any damage control until it is all over.
Thankyou for your translations and the info you are providing. But at this moment, looking at this movie for me feels like a twist in the knife that's very nicely lodged itself between my ribs. Ugh.

I don't know about you and your country, but here in Russia there are no official screenings, DVDs or merchandise sold, so there is no easy way for me to support this movie.

Hey, just a thought, would you guys jump ship if NH was properly done/justified in the movie? Or if NS got closure? (Those who are watching it anyway.)

I would love to hear your opinions.
No cause the movie no matter how you look at it is asspull and forced. So i couldnt care less if kishi as a writer wanted NH it development should been in the manga not a movie, just think back have any other movies connected to the manga like this one? noooo........... cause that how much lengths they have to go to create this asspull.

I wouldn't really know how could it be "done right" at this point...when they treat NS as if it never existed.
i am willing to accept NH to be canon and all that
not surprised though, shes a big ss fan, hell she even calls sasuke ''my darling''.
and there we have it a woman that is openly up to a abusive relationship the message this is sending across the world smh. It only when they have there faces bashed by a man they start to use they brain and scream abuse.
Why are some people trying to make NS fans accept SS on a NS site?
It like me going to a sports message board trying to get people to like my team.
There is no way this movie would change my mind. Kishi could've insert hinita in parts where you had sakura. When naruto was training. You could've had hinita there and not sakura.
You could've had kushina tell naruto find some that loves you, not someone like me.

I guess she was ok with Ray Rice knocking out his girl friend in the elevator.

how bout you?
Personally, I would never ship NH even if it was 'done well.' Entirely because Hinata's character is entirely one-dimensional. I can't ship something if the character doesn't appeal to me.
Although, I've saw many people claim that they were willing to give NH a try, or that they've suddenly accepted it to be their OTP once that movie trailer/ending came out.

Good question.
Ok, let's imagine that 110 minutes minus neutral footage could overshadow 700 chapters of development by drawing some overwhelmingly deep romantic scenes, showing Naruto genuinely falling for Hinata because of her brave and kind actions. (the worst scenario for me as NS shipper to he honest)
Would it kill the fact that NS was still present in the manga, that Naruto was in love with Sakura for 7 or smth years, that she was his first love and that they developed a deep and beautiful bond that could end up in a relationship? They are precious to each other to the point where even spouses could possibly not be more important than that bond. I still remember the scene in manga, when Naruto was in genjutsu and Sakura appeared from his stomach, representing how she gives him life force. Or that other scene, when Sakura and Sasuke reflected in his eyes. I knew at that moment that Sakura will always be precious to Naruto no matter how their relationship progresses.
Thankfully we, NS shippers, will always have this if the movie stays on the ground of believability. We will always have ENOUGH to be strong. This is both infuriating and comforting.
The only manga I know where main character's bond with a female character is stronger than any other to the point of being the main bond of the manga, but probably not romantic, is Bleach - Ichigo and Rukia. Rukia is named Ichigo's other half that he waited for for so long, she stopped the rain that was falling in his heart, she saved his soul and gave him purpose, even Kubo himself wrote it in his poems, but he also said he doesn't see this bond as a romantic one. Will Orihime ever be more important to Ichigo even if they get together in the end? Will it make his bond with Rukia less significant, less important to him? No. Never. Rukia will be the most important person to him. IMHO (don't bash me).
Just like that I believe that NS will always have ENOUGH. But then there is a second option - the movie might go ahead and try to destroy the very essence of NS by denying some of the moments, making Hinata mimic Sakura or by stating openly that Naruto never really loved Sakura.
And then there will be war. It will be an insult of a century. That won't make me jump ship, but it will make me deny Naruto as a universe at all.
There is a song that talks about NS perfectly. It shows an imperfection of the girl and deep unchanging eternal love of the man, who has to suffer from her sometimes, but will never stop loving her. It is actually a cover on the Beatles song "Girl" by Chris De Burgh -
My heart cries for NS every time I listen to this song, it is like a Naruto POV for me.

I wish I can write more to it, but I will say no because the story never told me to support Hinata over the protagonist, never told me that this is real love, never told me that this is all it takes to love, never told me a movie is canon and only needs it to justify love, never told me that it's consistent, and never told me it's been planned.

Some people just like the idea of being on a 'winning' team.

NO!
Ugh even if I accepted NH as the end pairing and that I can look at it without wanting to vomit, I still hate Hinata to no end. Also even if Kishi tries to force NH on us and to force us to believe how beautiful it is. I'll never be part of it. I'll still see NH as a creepy and awkward relationship in which both parties don't match because their personnalities are too opposites. Hinata is supposed to be cute, but her personnality makes her and her relationship with Naruto creepy.... Just like in the Rock Lee SP episode "I only have eyes for you".
and there we have it a woman that is openly up to a abusive relationship the message this is sending across the world smh. It only when they have there faces bashed by a man they start to use they brain and scream abuse.
Let people like what they like. Now you're going to bash Sakura's seiyuu for being ok with the ending?
Some of you need to cool off. It's already been a few weeks.
