Right now Fairy Tail has 35 points while Sabertooth has 44 points. So that means that if Fairy Tail wins they'll get 10 extra points for a total of 45 points. In other words, they'll be ahead of Sabertooth by 1 point.

Now let's go back the the Chariot competition of the 2nd day. Remember how Sting forfeited the competition because he didn't want to make the effort to keep going while getting motion sickness just for a measly 1 or 2 points, therefore getting 0 points? Then Gajeel told him that he better not come back latter to complain about that measly point.

Your Avatar was pretty much my reaction as well....this chapter was definitely amusing, and scary at the same time....lol @ Erza's reaction, strongest female mage possably from all the guilds and we now know her weakness.

Fairy Tail is getting really exciting! Although seeing Igneel was awesome and the reveal of the rabbit was hilarious, I want to see where demons come into the mix . I might be forgetting but were demons ever shown/mentioned? Ca't wait for the next chapter!

After reading this chapter, Codus' comment from a few months ago came to mind.

Now then.... y'know what, I'm thinking Mashima is a better manga-ka than the Big 3 combined as of now. This chapter simply proves it.

I was curious what Sting and Rogue's powers were. I had a theory before last chapter that Rogue and Gajeel would have the same dragon parent, but Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic is infinitely more interesting that reusing Iron DSM. And that White DSM...dang. I kinda wonder what significance Weisslogia the White Dragon had, and if it was as powerful as Acnologia the Black Dragon. If it was, then Sting's true power must really be something.

Also, I'm glad Gajeel lost the headband. Thing didn't really suit him IMO.

It was pretty awesome to see Natsu and Gajeel simply own Sting and Rouge, but that ending was really unexpected. Unless Natsu and Gajeel surprise everybody by activation Dragon Force as well I'm just not sure how they'll be able to manage a win.

When it comes to base power Natsu and Gajeel are in a whole different league, but Dragon Force is a different story. We've already see how devastating it can be with Natsu.

Natsu still has his lightning attacks but I'd rather see him finally able to activate Dragon Force at will, and Gajeel as well.

But my guess is, now Natsu and Gajeel are gonna get pummeled, until they tap into second origin and unlock Dragon Force.

Yeah, I think so too. Plus, the 1st generation Dragon Slayer's Dragon Force shows the illusion of a real dragon as well.

We've seen what that can do to opponents.

Agreed. Mashima has definitely climbed up to my favorite Shonen author replacing Kishi. His mind-bending twists, epic fights, and awesome fanservice (shipping and ecchi). All this combined makes a great and awesome manga. Although I do hope Mashima makes it past 2016, though. Since by that time Naruto would've ended and if he wants to make his mark in manga history, his manga would need to stay a bit longer after Naruto ends.

And on another note, here's hoping the movie does well too. I'm hoping it can get close to RtN's figures.

Awww yiss. I'm really hoping that both Gajeel and Natsu go all dragon force and show them how the first generation does it

It's one incredible coincidence that we get this Grand Magic Games in the manga just as in the real world at the same time we do the Olympics.

Heh, who knows?? he may have planned it that way. Wouldn't be surprising if there's going to be an Olympic-themed color page in the next few weeks.

Now then, I've been thinking about it for a while, and I think I know what's going to happen on the 6th day. Arcadias is going to hold a special exhibition match between the masters of FT & Sabertooth. In other words, Jiemma vs Makarov. What I think he's trying to gain from this is to weaken the two strongest masters in the games (dunno how strong Jiemma is really, but he should be strong enough to be a big threat), thus eliminating one of the biggest threats to the Eclipse Plan. Jura is hella strong, but he's nowhere in Makarov's league, so I think Arcadias also has a plan to keep him occupied.
