Naruto is not a silver medal, it's just the fans seeing it as such.
Sakura made her choice a long time ago, and she didn't choose Naruto because she couldn't have Sasuke-Kun.
She choose Naruto because that's what she wanted.

I think your missing the point, with the murder attempts which led to her falling out of love with Sasuke it pretty much eliminated any chance to prove to us that her love for Naruto is beyond her love for the Sauce.

I think your missing the point, with the murder attempts which led to her falling out of love with Sasuke it pretty much eliminated any chance to prove to us that her love for Naruto is beyond her love for the Sauce.

I think its better to wait and hear from Sakura herself that she has fallen out of love with Sasuke and also why she loves Naruto, before making any of these statements. You can't just assume all of these things.

You know, I wonder. Kishi somewhat have Jiraiya stood as a man who failed all of his goals in life. He probably would have turn around a lot if he didn't die with a mission fail against Pain. That said what's going to be for Obito? Like will it be "Well his dreams happen...in afterlife" or will it be "he's going to continue where he left off...in afterlife?"

First, She is yet to say she doesn't love Sasuke anymore.

Second, We don't know when/why she started to fall out of love with Sasuke IF she has stopped loving him.

Third, We don't know how/why she started to love Naruto.

 

About the Kage Arc confession,

I think Kishimoto knew some people would consider Naruto as Sakura's second choice and that's why made Sakura reference both Naruto and Sasuke in her confession in 469. And he made Naruto reject that confession. That means Naruto is saying 'No way am I being a silver medal Sakura. You have to convince me that you really love me'. Until she does that Naruto will not accept her. If NS has to happen, Sakura has to completely get over Sasuke and love Naruto. So there is no way Naruto will ever be a Silver medal.

 

The Kage confession was probably a sort of necessary transition and she just did what she needed to protect Naruto without really thinking it through. We have to wait for the proper resolution to this before declaring Naruto as a Silver medal.

The longer I read, the more I come to realize Kishi is pretty much a professional troll... Narusaku, Sasusaku, Naruhina ect. Trolling us shippers to the max.

Team 7 is a family in all but name. That's just how the story is. A lot of people hate that Naruto even cares about Sasuke, but Naruto himself considers him his brother til the end, so that's not something that will change as much as you might dislike it.
 
 
If NS goes canon? Trust me, even if it's the last scene of the manga NS will definitely be confirmed.
 
That was the whole point of Kushina mentioning that Naruto would want a girlfriend one day so he should choose someone like her, and then what happens, Minato goes out of his way to ask if Sakura was his girlfriend and then compare her to Kushina. See how both scenes are purposely interconnected.
 
You don't create scenes like that to just leave up in the air.

Eh? Did you read my post, I did not even doubt NS. That 'if' was just to show that I was not being over confidant. I know NS will go canon

I think the hokages will help the 'brother' externally and not helping them through the dimensions. I mean like, not fighting with them but helping and supporting them from the outside!

You know....it kinda sucks that Sasuke will be the one to play the final move of canceling IT and not Naruto or both together...

Sasuke did say something like one genjutsu cast by an eye can be cancelled with the same genjutsu cast with another eye

No I said the murder attempts are what made her fall out of love for Sasuke not what made her fall for Naruto that wouldn't make any sense.

 

We know she gradually started to fall for Naruto in part 1 just like she gradually fell out of love for Sasuke when he tried to smash her skull in it really doesn't take much to realize that the murder attempts is what the deal breaker was that's the moment her feelings started to plummet. We know she no longer loves him and Sakura most likely already knows this as well if we go by the anime. Yes we know why she fell for Naruto she says it during her confession, because he's a hero, because he's always been there for her and makes her feel safe.

 

Naruto never rejected Sakura the whole point of him interrupting her was because he knew she was hiding something, hence qwhy he ignored the entire confession she was giving so he could ask her "what the kitten?"

I'm still going with my theory that Rin found out she was in love with Obito in the last minute when it was already too late. Obito dies and meets Rin on the other side changing to his 12 year old self. Rin confesses she loves him and we might get flashbacks from her POV, showing how she handled Obito's supposed death.
